Andrew was born in Venezuela & raised in Miami & New Mexico, finally landing in Texas, for the last decade. The son of a concert pianist, Andrew instantly gravitated towards music. At the age of just 12-years old, he saved up for his first set of turntables, while simulataneously playing in a variety of bands. He eventually found his calling, producing his own electronic music & leading several musical projects, performing around Texas, & touring the US with regularity. He also owns a record label, releasing music for others, & recently became a voting member of the Grammys.

Andrew from Profound Sounds DJ’d our wedding at Springdale Station and the experience was incredible! He read the room, engaged the crowd and mixed in songs smoothly to keep everyone interested. We had several meetings with Andrew before the wedding, and his musical knowledge was very impressive. Name any song made in the last 100 years and i bet he will immediately hum the melody, I’ve never seen anything like it. In addition to all that, he was punctual, professional and efficient. Our wedding had over 120 guests and about a million moving pieces, Andrew was the most solid element of our big day. Easy to deal with, highly responsive and he delivered flawlessly. If you’re looking for a wedding DJ, Profound Sounds is the best choice.

Andrew was fantastic to work with and truly brought the energy we wanted for our wedding! He was enthusiastic, fun, and kept the vibe going all night. We gave him a fair bit of freedom with the playlists for different parts of the event, and he absolutely nailed it—the atmosphere was perfect for dinner and cocktail hour, and the dance floor was a blast. Throughout the night, guests kept telling us how much they loved the music and how amazing they thought he was. If you're looking for a DJ who can read the crowd and create an unforgettable party, we can’t recommend Andrew enough!

Stop looking here!! Our DJ Andrew was absolutely nothing short of PHENOMENAL. It has been a little over a week since our wedding and we have had a multitude of friends and family go out of their way to compliment Andrew/Profound Sounds on the experience he brought to our day. He was excellent in the planning process meeting with us 3 times to ensure our schedule was moving as planned. He honored each request we made and even went with the flow of unscheduled toasts, family traditions, etc... We will never forget the UT fight song cascading through our reception with the voices of 100 people singing along to open up our dance floor. I cannot say enough positive words truly. Thank you!!

These guys are awesome! Andrew worked with us on every detail and musical opportunity of our wedding. Their pianist, Zack, played our songs beautifully at the ceremony and knew a ton of fun tunes for cocktail hour. Travis just "killed it" as our MC and DJ. Couldn't have asked for a better night.

So thankful for Andrew's hard work getting us ready for our wedding! The Profound Sounds team was on time and we had people on the dancefloor the whole night. Plus we were happy that our dj was bilingual. We had a lot of communication leading up to the wedding and Andrew made sure we had everything in order prior to the wedding day. From the timeline, to the special dances and requests, Andrew made sure we felt taken care of. The lighting was also great and looked awesome on the dancefloor.

If you are looking for an excellent DJ, look no more! Andrew is your guy! This was the hardest decision for my husband and I during the whole wedding process but picking him was the best one. Excellent communication, flexible to every decision we made, very fun guy, and great Dj equipment set up! Bonus points for speaking Spanish and having awesome music transitions. Profound sounds surpassed our expectations.

We throughly enjoyed working with Profound Sounds. Andrew had great communication, we spoke on many occasions about timeline, he asked about preferences on the music and was very helpful when it came to recommendations. We knew we wanted a wedding where guests didn’t leave the dance floor, they were having so much fun! And we achieved that! Andrew was super helpful with any questions. We also hired a violinist last minute and they worked great together!! We had the best time and our friends and families have gushed about how much fun we had dancing. I would recommend Profound Sounds to any couple planning their wedding. Andrew did an excellent job handling the audio for our ceremony. When it was time for our reception we had a lively dance floor the entire night. We had also opted for the photo booth package and our guests loved it. We hired Andrew for two back to back events for our law firm . He was a pleasure to work with . He showed up on time . DJ Boom was the next level DJ at our Art Showcase Event💫 Andrew is personable, professional, talented and a team player! Working with him was like working with an old friend~ he jumps right in and is on it! Right off the bat, he had a few minutes to spare before he set up his equipment so he lent us a hand in getting some of the final art pieces up on the gallery walls. His musical repertoire is vast, DJ Boom truly has a gift of feeling the pulse of the crowd when selecting his curated playlist. We seriously lucked out with the most amazing DJ for our New Year’s Eve wedding - Profound Sounds! Andrew was the most AMAZING person to work with! As a wedding planner, I always love when the DJ and I can have clear communication throughout the plannind process as well as on the day of and Andrew did just that! Andrew truly knew how to make our party a blast!! But what I loved the most was how much he cared about making the event holistically meaningful for our family. He asked about requested songs and hora versions, the type of vibe we were looking for, the desired timeline and activities/games/special dances, the lighting and decor of the evening, etc. No stone was unturned and he checked in about things we never even considered with plenty of advance planning. When the big day came, he showed up on time and was ready to roll in plenty of time with no glitches. He created the vibe of our party with his artful dj mixing and the fun he has doing it is obvious and contagious. He is definitely in his element at this art of DJing, and that makes all of the difference in the outcome. It’s because it’s obvious he truly cares about the family having the event of their dreams. He’s a true pleasure to work with, and I cannot wait to use him again!

As a planner, Andrew was on time, detailed and SO GOOD at what he does. He responded quickly and showed up well for my clients. DJ Boom was an absolute pleasure to work with! Cannot recommend enough. Booking was a breeze and the entire process was easy. I was super impressed with the communication from start to finish. He is incredibly nice and professional. My one request was to keep the people moving and the dance floor full and his selection of songs did just that. We had such a fun and memorable night and DJ Boom was an integral part of that. THANK YOU!!

Andrew was extremely professional, a great MC, and also a KILLER dj. Fantastic song selection and vibe setting, had everyone at the wedding on the dance floor the whole time!

We booked Andrew to DJ our wedding, earlier this year. Not only did he exceed our expectations, he went above and beyond to make sure our day was extra special! We had very specific music requests with cues & timing being imperative, and Andrew delivered. The dance floor was burning! He had everyone out of their seats.. We could not recommend working with DJ Andrew, enough!

Having good music was one of our top priorities, so we asked our wedding planner to recommend us "the best" DJ. She replied with DJ Andrew without hesitation. He seamlessly mixed our songs together to create a great mix. He also provided a CO2 cannon, a photo booth, and great lighting. He is able to offer several amenities to provide a great experience. If you want a killer party that your guests will rave about, hire DJ Andrew today!

DAMN this DJ cooked! Beginning to end, non-stop mixing, hitting every request while managing the mic duties and keeping our party on track.
