Andrew was born in Venezuela & raised in Miami & New Mexico, finally landing in Texas, for the last decade. The son of a concert pianist, Andrew instantly gravitated towards music. At the age of just 12-years old, he saved up for his first set of turntables, while simulataneously playing in a variety of bands. He eventually found his calling, producing his own electronic music & leading several musical projects, performing around Texas, & touring the US with regularity. He also owns a record label, releasing music for others, & recently became a voting member of the Grammys.

Absolutely excellent experience with this DJ! The music selection is exactly what we wanted and so many guests complimented the DJ. They knew exactly how to read the room and changed/mix the music if people weren’t as engaged. Such a great time and felt so heard during the planning meetings beforehand. Would recommend absolutely!

From the start, he was so thorough—he met with us multiple times to understand the exact vibe we wanted and even provided a detailed planning form to make sure nothing was missed. We were really picky about the music for our wedding—we wanted a DJ who truly understood music, knew how to read the dance floor, and could take our requests while adding their own unique touch. Andrew and his team completely exceeded our expectations. The dance floor was alive all night, and we didn’t stop dancing once! The dance floor was easily one of the highlights of the entire day. We worked with Andrew from day 1 of our inquiry. He was so friendly and professional! He has built out a streamlined and organized tool to manage music for your big day.
Andrew literally knocked it out of the park for our wedding day! We had multiple locations that required music and had a live musician for ceremony. Every moment was seamless. Quality was unreal. We had many guests complimenting on the quality of the sound!
Now on to the dance party, let me tell you, it was mixed perfectly. Andrew played every hit and made sure every genre was heard for our guests. From kids to grandparents, everyone loved it. Most of all, the bride (me) and Groom loved it!!! We had a dream night and party thanks to Andrew. I would recommend him over and OVER. Do not hesitate to hire Profound Sounds!

WOW! We love Andrew, we could not have asked for a kinder, more fun, or more professional DJ. He has an amazing energy and knows how to make everyone feel special. Andrew was fantastic to work with and truly brought the energy we wanted for our wedding! He was enthusiastic, fun, and kept the vibe going all night. We gave him a fair bit of freedom with the playlists for different parts of the event, and he absolutely nailed it—the atmosphere was perfect for dinner and cocktail hour, and the dance floor was a blast. Stop looking here!! Our DJ Andrew was absolutely nothing short of PHENOMENAL. It has been a little over a week since our wedding and we have had a multitude of friends and family go out of their way to compliment Andrew/Profound Sounds on the experience he brought to our day. He was excellent in the planning process meeting with us 3 times to ensure our schedule was moving as planned. He honored each request we made and even went with the flow of unscheduled toasts, family traditions, etc... We will never forget the UT fight song cascading through our reception with the voices of 100 people singing along to open up our dance floor. I cannot say enough positive words truly. Thank you!!

These guys are awesome! Andrew worked with us on every detail and musical opportunity of our wedding. Their pianist, Zack, played our songs beautifully at the ceremony and knew a ton of fun tunes for cocktail hour. Travis just "killed it" as our MC and DJ. Couldn't have asked for a better night.

So thankful for Andrew's hard work getting us ready for our wedding! The Profound Sounds team was on time and we had people on the dancefloor the whole night. Plus we were happy that our dj was bilingual. We had a lot of communication leading up to the wedding and Andrew made sure we had everything in order prior to the wedding day. If you are looking for an excellent DJ, look no more! Andrew is your guy! This was the hardest decision for my husband and I during the whole wedding process but picking him was the best one. Excellent communication, flexible to every decision we made, very fun guy, and great Dj equipment set up! Bonus points for speaking Spanish and having awesome music transitions. Profound sounds surpassed our expectations.

Andrew had great communication, we spoke on many occasions about timeline, he asked about preferences on the music and was very helpful when it came to recommendations. We knew we wanted a wedding where guests didn’t leave the dance floor, they were having so much fun! And we achieved that! Andrew was super helpful with any questions. We also hired a violinist last minute and they worked great together!! We had the best time and our friends and families have gushed about how much fun we had dancing. Andrew from Profound Sounds DJ’d our wedding at Springdale Station and the experience was incredible! He read the room, engaged the crowd and mixed in songs smoothly to keep everyone interested. We had several meetings with Andrew before the wedding, and his musical knowledge was very impressive. Name any song made in the last 100 years and i bet he will immediately hum the melody, I’ve never seen anything like it. In addition to all that, he was punctual, professional and efficient. Our wedding had over 120 guests and about a million moving pieces, Andrew was the most solid element of our big day. Easy to deal with, highly responsive and he delivered flawlessly. If you’re looking for a wedding DJ, Profound Sounds is the best choice.

I would recommend Profound Sounds to any couple planning their wedding. Andrew did an excellent job handling the audio for our ceremony. When it was time for our reception we had a lively dance floor the entire night. We had also opted for the photo booth package and our guests loved it. We hired Andrew for two back to back events for our law firm . He was a pleasure to work with . He showed up on time . The set up looked lovely and he even helped us with some last minute prep by hanging up some artwork for us . His music was on point for what we requested and he had a great cheerful personality . DJ Boom was the next level DJ at our Art Showcase Event💫 Andrew is personable, professional, talented and a team player! Working with him was like working with an old friend~ he jumps right in and is on it! Right off the bat, he had a few minutes to spare before he set up his equipment so he lent us a hand in getting some of the final art pieces up on the gallery walls. His musical repertoire is vast, DJ Boom truly has a gift of feeling the pulse of the crowd when selecting his curated playlist. DJ BoomBaptist exceeded our expectations at our corporate event in Austin, Texas. His professionalism, responsiveness, and ability to keep the party alive were outstanding. Our guests were thrilled, and the dance floor stayed packed throughout the event. Highly recommended for a memorable and energetic experience!
We also booked his photo booth and our guests couldn’t stop talking about the great lighting and how well the photos turned out.

Andrew was the most AMAZING person to work with! As a wedding planner, I always love when the DJ and I can have clear communication throughout the plannind process as well as on the day of and Andrew did just that! He made sure we were on the same page the whole time, and adjusted quickly when needed! When booking Andrew, you don't just book a DJ, but you're also booking a friend who is going to keep the party alive. I will forever reccomened him to my future couples!

I coordinated a wedding this past weekend and Andrew of Profound Sounds was the DJ. Let me just say that Andrew was amazing to work with! As a coordinator, it is so important to have your DJ work together with the other vendors and ensure that we are all ready for each sequence of events! Andrew kept the crowd dancing and having fun! Andrew made our special day wonderful! From planning to close-out, he thought of everything! He tailored our playlist, seamlessly transitioned between songs, timed everything for flow of festivities, emcee'd, and did not make us think about any of the logistical details. A true pro.
