can’t recommend Kayla enough! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and her team handled hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and my mom and MIL. she did an amazing job taking my vision from the trial and turning it into a reality on the wedding day — I felt like the best version of myself.
She was on time, incredibly patient, and so easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. She was also a joy to hangout with all day. She was very responsive and even flexible when I had to change locations last minute, which took a huge amount of stress off my shoulders. Her team was also punctual, professional, and did a great job keeping us on schedule, which made the morning run so smoothly. Her travel fee was very reasonable as well.
One small thing to note (which may be standard) is that there is a fee per artist if you move locations. Overall, I’m so grateful to have had her and her team as part of my wedding day!

wanted even more glam and sparkle than we had done that day (not typically traditional for weddings)... She came prepared and created a MASTERPIECE (not only on myself, but ALL of my bridesmaids and mothers!!!) on the day of my wedding. Not only is her work amazing, she is supremely helpful in making sure your day runs smoothly, she's prompt and timely, accommodating, extremely knowledgable, SO kind, and chooses artists to assist her that are equally up to that standard. I would choose Kayla for my HMU for every event, every single time. Can't give her high enough praise. BOOK PROJECT ARTISTRY, DON'T EVEN GIVE IT A SECOND THOUGHT.

asked - it just took me time/that many tries to find what I liked for the big day! Her team was also very nice and professional on the Wedding Day (Makeup ATX) and did my 8 bridesmaids and mom. We were all done on time - and Kayla accommodated the time I wanted to start (9am) despite the number of women we had, and she brought that many stylists and planned accordingly. She really went above and beyond for us - her hair and make-up skills are awesome. I'm so grateful and will definitely reach out to book her again for any special event for myself in Austin :)

ing my bridal trial was something I enjoyed the most. She is also down to earth & so patient! I truly loved getting to know her. She made my entire bridal party feel so comfortable & I really just couldn’t have asked for more.
And her talent? Unreal!! I had dreams of a romantic, messy, low bridal bun & sent her lots of inspiration pictures and she truly nailed it. I felt so pretty & I got so many compliments on how beautiful & real my hair looked. Some of my bridal party wanted tighter looks & some of them wanted looser looks! But she was able to do it all with ease! Kayla was always for any change I made during my 2 years of working with her! If I had to do this pandemic bride process over again, I would 100% choose her every time!

She was so flexible in understanding my schedule, needs, timings, etc. and also so understanding of religious and cultural accommodations I needed (I wear the headscarf) and was creative in offering solutions. On the day of, she was so flexible despite our schedule running late. Her and her team took care of my bridal party so well and made the day really flow so smoothly and stress-free. All of this is besides the fact that she is just a generally awesome person, I had some of the best natural conversations with her while she was doing my hair and makeup, it was just a pleasure meeting her. If I ever have another occasion in Austin I would not hesitate to book Kayla again!

a trail/consult. Codie, was the bomb, she listened to me and even though I didn’t entice her much to go off of she made me feel beautiful! The day of the wedding not only did she do me up perfectly she even helped fix a couple hiccups and make my maid of honor feel confident about her hair. Our make up artist Amie, all the girls loved her and make up was on point!

ere planning the wedding from out-of-state and she was so accommodating with our schedule. The test-run was absolutely great and I instantly knew that she was the perfect person to create wedding looks for myself and my bridal group.
Day of the wedding, she was right on time and her team stayed right on time track for all of us! They did a great job working with each of the bridesmaids and moms and really achieved beautiful looks for everyone.
Kayla even traveled to the wedding venue for final touches to hair and makeup before the ceremony, which I was so appreciative of.

day of, we (me, five bridesmaids, the mother of the bride, and the mother of the groom) needed to be ready by 1pm for pictures. They arrived to the venue early that morning and kept a very timely schedule. We finished about an hour early with time for touch-ups right before our pictures. They are fun to work with and do a great job listening to what you want. We all looked great and our hair and makeup lasted the entire night! I am so thankful I went with them for hair and makeup!!!

did not look a day older, my skin looked flawless and dewy just like I wanted. The makeup was so well done that is lasted until the end of the party, I just touched up the lipstick a bit, but the rest was flawless until the end. Kayla is talented, skilled and also extremely nice and calm, which is awesome on a day with so many emotions. She is open to suggestions,and really works with the client to get the best results. My mom and sister also had their makeup done, she did the three of us in a timely manner, it all went great. Looking forward to working with her again in the near future, and I highly recommend her.

all of this despite my lack of direction and not really knowing exactly what I wanted. Not only did I love how I looked but Kayla was so professional, relaxed, reassuring, confident and prepared. My friend who attended my wedding evening booked Kayla for her wedding a month latter and no surprise, she looked incredible. Kayla is amazing!!! day. Honestly, having her do my makeup was the most relaxing part of the pre-wedding chaos because I knew it was going to be perfect. She even managed to cover up a patch of problem-skin that had popped up a few days prior to the wedding (every bride's nightmare, right?!) and made it like it wasn't even there. I loved that she was able to meet us at the venue too, not only because that cut down on travel time, but so I could utilize my venue's stunning bridal suite. I would 100% recommend her to anyone wanting to look flawless on her big day. This girl knows her stuff!
