tertainment. I’m here to say that Toni, as well as every member of the whole Project Orange experience, played a key role in making our night the greatest of our lives. Nearly every guest - from close musician friends, to family members who couldn’t carry a tune - made a point of commenting on how unbelievable the music was. The energy was infectious and the dance floor was packed every second they were on stage. What I found most impressive was when they created medleys full of left-turns, jumping between multiple genres and different eras with ease. Every age group had something to hold onto. I found Project Orange on a huge list of wedding bands who cover the Northeast, and reaching out to Toni was the greatest thing I could’ve ever done. Even though the band does not do showcases, I felt completely confident with their services from the start. The previously recorded content was top notch, and every interaction was handled with the utmost professionalism. Working with Toni is a breeze. You’re given a copy of the repertoire, and you pick what would work and what wouldn’t. From there you’re provided with your own private concert, personalized completely to your taste. Best of all, Project Orange is significantly more affordable than all the other pre-packaged, manufactured (and slightly sterile) wedding bands making the rounds. Do not for one second think that this has any impact on the quality of the product. You will not find another band more genuinely talented and authentically fun than Project Orange.

nd she required NO hand holding. We thought this was a very big deal as many vendors ARE difficult and it is very stressful having to deal with those types of vendors. Day of, Toni and her crew loaded in and set up without an issue and without any hand holding. As for the actual wedding music, we thought they did a great job! Our guests gave us rave reviews and were dancing all night. We hired Project Orange to do 1. instrumental processional music 2. instrumental recessional music 3. cocktail hour instrumental (2 piece guitar and keyboard) 4. full band from about 7:30-11:30pm 5. DJ afterparty. Each set they did was stellar. The energy they have translates so well to the crowd. We HIGHLY recommend PO!

g all night long. When it came time to plan my own wedding, they were our first and ONLY choice! Hiring Project Orange was a big investment for our budget, but we prioritized music over other extras and it was worth every penny. As a band leader, Toni understood this. She was responsive, flexible, and easy to work with. Once we got closer to the date, she coordinated directly with our planner and venue. For our big day, we had a guitarist during the ceremony, a keyboard player for cocktail hour, and the full band at the reception. The band really "understood the assignment" setting the mood and dressing the part for a funky and special celebration. Bride, groom, and guests were on the dance floor all night. We're still getting compliments on the music months later. Everything exceeded our expectations. We are SO glad we hired Project Orange and hope everyone we know will hire them so we can enjoy them all over again.

since then, it was my dream to have them perform at mine. I got in touch with Toni and after one phone conversation, we booked them. My husband was a bit worried going for a band that he had never seen perform, but, I can't express enough just how amazing they were! Their talent is unparalleled and their ability to "read the room" is exceptional. They knew what vibe was needed at every point of the night. This is the type of band that you put your faith in and say "play what you think will get the party going" and they take it from there! ing just to turn and stare, we were completely dumbfounded by their range of voices and instrumentals. It was insane. Everyone raved about them and people of all ages kept the dance floor covered and hopping throughout the night. As a bonus, Toni’s communication was excellent and the process was seamless from start to finish. One example- our space had unique sound challenges and Toni made sure to arrive early to do extra checks. She and her team were such a pleasure to have around. I actually already had a quote from Toni but almost overlooked her band because they don’t have much of an internet presence. I saw a short clip on YouTube of the band performing a Lauryn Hill song and sent it to my dad who agreed it wasn’t much to go by, but they certaininly seemed different and to stand out from the other bands. We decided to take a chance and hire Toni without ever hearing anything live. My wedding day was truly perfect, but looking back on how certain things were executed there are definitely changes I would have made. Hiring Toni and Project Orange Music is not one of them. They were flawless. They brought so much energy to the party. Everyone had such a good time, their song selection was fantastic, and they kept people on the dance floor all night. My husband and I could not be happier and all of our guests are still talking about how this is the best wedding band they’ve ever heard.

d the stage was growing and realized that the band, was singing her song. I made my way to the front of the stage and saw Olutayo singing to my mom and the look on my mothers face was priceless. He personalized the song and sung to her like she was the only person in the room of 180+ people. His performance will stay ingrained in my mothers memory forever. n searching for a wedding band, we quickly realized that musicians come and go and the onus is to find a band leader that you believe can execute and deliver what you want. We wanted a dance band, a band who would keep the party going as we were not having a sit-down dinner, rather a cocktail style reception with unassigned seating. We wanted our guests to focus on the entertainment, the food, and interacting with the space/venue. Toni Menage, the band leader, absolutely delivered and met our expectations. The band was super tight, some musicians even riffed and solo-ed at times and they knew how to play to the mix of the crowd. As I went around talking to people during my wedding, I received so many compliments and inquiries regarding the band. At times, I even had to leave said people I was talking to because the band would play a song that I liked and I had to run back to the dance floor. On top of this, Toni and Project Orange went out of their way with extras to make my wedding super special. First, she worked with me to curate the music for my ceremony. My husband walked down the aisle to Salt N Pepa’s, “What a Man” and I walked down to Carl Carlton’s, “She’s a Bad Mama Jama”. I had a specific vision that the hooks of these songs would be performed by singers and not just musicians so the crowd could hear the lyrics and Toni did not even hesitate. She said, “I got you. It’s your day and I want to make sure it’s the best day ever for you.” The crowd giggled as we walked down the aisle and it truly set the tone for the rest of the wedding. It was awesome. Then, she arranged to get an extra speaker because I had to have Prince’s recorded version “Let’s Go Crazy” as my recessional and she did that too. I am sure this was extra work and kind of a pain in the butt but Toni never made me feel like I was being a demanding bride. She heard my wants and delivered. Lastly, for my side of the family which is Latin, she arranged a Latin music set and brought in a Spanish-speaking singer. Toni goes above and beyond to ensure her clients are satisfied and whenever the next big life celebration will be, I will definitely hire Project Orange. Also – you will be supporting a person of color, woman-owned business and to all my brides who are POCs, it is great to support women like Toni.

t Orange. And they did NOT let us, our families, or any of the guests down. Words cannot explain how talented each of their musicians are; and how FUN each of them are. They played every song we requested and more. They know how to read a large room and play the type of music the crowd wants to hear. They put their hearts and soul into every song, enjoying themselves, and make the crowd go crazy ( in a good way!) I cannot tell you how pleased we are and how MUCH FUN WE HAD BECAUSE OF PROJECT ORANGE. Every single guest could not get over how amazing they are. I still have people reaching out to me a week later saying how great they were and they were the best band they had ever seen. Hire Project Orange at your next event. When we've asked our guests if they enjoyed themselves everyone first says "that BAND!!" Trust me, going with them is the best use of money for your big day - it will be memorable, for sure!!!

in NYC, so I knew from the start I wanted them to perform at our wedding (I just prayed that they were free that day and they were). They kept the energy up all night and were smiling and wonderful throughout the whole event. They have a unique style where they almost sound like DJs in some instances...they will mash two songs up together or fade right from one into another. We heard nothing but "where did you find this awesome BAND!" all night long. Many thanks to Toni Menage for helping us work out all the details.

singing overplayed music. Project orange was funky, modern, and just so cool. Our recently married friends were jealous that they did not pick project orange for their wedding. Freedom performed an AMAZING version of "think of me as your soldier" for our first dance. Everyone asked about Toni and her amazing singing all night long. The back up singers were really really good too. Project orange played tons of Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, and classics, but also played fun recent songs like Cee-Lo's" Forget You" We hired 2 of Project Orange's musicians for our ceremony music, and they played tons of Beatles, white album songs. The coordinator for Project Orange, Hallie, was always so professional and helpful. She made planning our wedding effortless :). We highly recommend project orange!!!

They also played the classiest Jazz standards during dinner, and started the dancing with a romping Hora early in the night. The band leads were great to work with and accommodated our requests, even adding new songs to their repertoire. Everyone from age 4 to 94 was on the dance floor loving their tight New York concert sound. The compliments we've been getting from our guests have been non-stop. Project Orange, thank you!

talked about what music and artists we enjoyed, watched a DVD of the bands most recent showcase, drank some wine, and discussed our favorite TV shows- it was as if we were reuniting with a long lost friend. As soon as Freedom left, my "now" husband and I just looked at each other and smiled. Freedom and Toni were more than accommodating, as we had an unusual need for our wedding. We needed a polish signer to be incorporated into the band for our special night. As if Freedom and Toni had already been doing their research, they immediately sent us some footage and tracks of a polish signer they were familiar with. It was perfect! Freedom and Toni put together a variety of options of how to incorporate the two types of music including different price points. Throughout the last couple of months leading up to the wedding, Freedom and Toni were willing and able to provide us with input for the big day. They did not hesitate when we asked them to play 3 specific songs that were not included on their very extensive play list and offered us numerous suggestions when we did not know where to start with an introductory song,\ and mother/son, father/daughter dances. On our wedding day WE WERE BLOWN AWAY! It absolutely was the concert experience we had hoped for and more! Project Orange played music guests of all ages could enjoy, and they did! The entire night the dance floor was packed! Freedom and Toni would come down off the stage, singing through the crowds, igniting an energy on the dance floor that no one could resist! Project Orange made our wedding exceed all of our hope and dreams of what it would be. Our friends and family often approach my husband and I, and say that we set the standard a little too high and that it was the best wedding they had ever been too. We said from the beginning of this planning process that, the band makes the wedding and we cannot say enough positive, raving, amazing things to say about Freedom, Toni, and the rest of the members of Project Orange.
