Toni and all of Project Orange totally MADE our wedding!! Guests were raving all night about the music and my whole family is obsessed with this band and wants to hire them for family reunions! I couldn't possibly recommend them more highly!

We saw Project Orange perform at a food festival on the west side piers years ago. At the time, we said we MUST have them play at our wedding. It was the best decision we could have made; they were even better than we remembered!! Every guest said it was the best wedding band they had ever heard--most saying it was more like a concert! Toni was just phenomenal to work with from start to finish. Super responsive, reassuring, and patient with our requests. Every other review you'll read is true; they really made the party! If they have your date available, book them. Book them. Book them!

Project Orange played for my milestone birthday and they did a spectacular job. The band was very accommodating to my requests and delivered on their promise to keep everyone happy and on their feet in full celebratory mode! They truly care about your event. The other awesome thing about Project Orange is that they are a one stop shop! They provide Dj’s, dancers whatever you need to add extra flare to your event if you so desire. My birthday party is long gone and everyone is still talking about how much fun they had and how awesome the entertainment was!

Wow how do I even begin to describe how unbelievably amazing Project Orange's performance at my wedding was. From start to finish they were lively, energetic and blew the roof off the venue. My guests have not stopped raving about how much fun they had and how much they loved the music. Toni, the band's leader is very dedicated to her craft and delivering the best performance possible each and every time. She really took the time with us to get that exact vibe we wanted and delivered it perfectly. She is also an incredibly talented singer and performer, as was every member of her awesome band. PO also provided music for our ceremony and cocktail hour and that was beautiful and fit each event so well. My wife and I also had a very unconventional request for our first dance, which they delivered on to our exact specifications, it truly blew us away. During my engagement I literally watched over 40 wedding bands that left me underwhelmed until I discovered Project Orange. In a world full of boring, by the numbers wedding bands, Project Orange stands far above the fray. If you want true artists, who will deliver a one of a kind performance this band is for you. Project Orange isn't the typical "wedding band. " They are an entire experience and if you want your wedding to stand out in the best way possible, THEY ARE THE ONLY WAY TO GO! Toni and her band performed at my sister's wedding in 2011 and ever since then, it was my dream to have them perform at mine. I got in touch with Toni and after one phone conversation, we booked them. My husband was a bit worried going for a band that he had never seen perform, but, I can't express enough just how amazing they were! Their talent is unparalleled and their ability to "read the room" is exceptional. They knew what vibe was needed at every point of the night. This is the type of band that you put your faith in and say "play what you think will get the party going" and they take it from there! My husband and I genuinely cannot imagine what our wedding would have been like without them. We are forever grateful for making our night the best ever!

Toni likes to get to know her clients personally so that on The Day it's as if you have an old friend preforming at your wedding. No corporate feel nor hard-and fast rules. A collaboration. The band knows how to read and room and keep momentum up and up and up! We have received non-stop compliments on their sound, song selection and overall vibe. What an experience this band is!! We first saw them in NYC at the food & wine festival last October. They were mesmerizing. Non stop! It was almost like listening to a DJ. They played everything from the the classics to the best of the top 40 seamlessly! We just HAD to have them for our company’s annual event in California. Toni was wonderful to work with. We initially wanted the 8 package to keep cost down but Toni Menage worked to make the numbers reasonable enough for us to have the 10 piece band that we saw originally! They were unbelievable from start to finish. Our staff and guest are still raving about this band! If you want a band that has your guest dancing all night long, Project Orange Music is it!

I can’t say enough about how amazing Toni and her team were for our recent wedding. They seriously made the party. Her and the band’s performance at the wedding literally left us speechless- there were moments when my husband and I stopped dancing just to turn and stare, we were completely dumbfounded by their range of voices and instrumentals. It was insane. Everyone raved about them and people of all ages kept the dance floor covered and hopping throughout the night. Their talent for keeping the energy going and their off the chart renditions of every song they played was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. As a bonus, Toni’s communication was excellent and the process was seamless from start to finish. One example- our space had unique sound challenges and Toni made sure to arrive early to do extra checks. She and her team were such a pleasure to have around. I honestly could rave forever about how terrific and talented they were- I want them to be at every single event I ever attend.

This band will be the most raved about part of your wedding. We knew wanted a really awesome wedding band. We did not know how to pick one. I filled out forms on countless band websites, watched every YouTube video, and scheduled showcases. I still had no idea who to pick. Almost every band came across as a little cheesy. I didn’t want that. Through word of mouth from two different sources, we were recommended Project Orange Music. I actually already had a quote from Toni but almost overlooked her band because they don’t have much of an internet presence. I saw a short clip on YouTube of the band performing a Lauryn Hill song and sent it to my dad who agreed it wasn’t much to go by, but they certaininly seemed different and to stand out from the other bands. We decided to take a chance and hire Toni without ever hearing anything live. My wedding day was truly perfect, but looking back on how certain things were executed there are definitely changes I would have made. Hiring Toni and Project Orange Music is not one of them. They were flawless. They brought so much energy to the party. Everyone had such a good time, their song selection was fantastic, and they kept people on the dance floor all night. My husband and I could not be happier and all of our guests are still talking about how this is the best wedding band they’ve ever heard.

This band is unbelievable, They fulfilled all of our special request and exceeded our expectations. When they covered my mothers favorite song, I thought the band was taking a break and the DJ was playing it. I then notice how the crowd around the stage was growing and realized that the band, was singing her song. I made my way to the front of the stage and saw Olutayo singing to my mom and the look on my mothers face was priceless. He personalized the song and sung to her like she was the only person in the room of 180+ people. His performance will stay ingrained in my mothers memory forever. My 27 year old nephew said that the band is the Lebron James of entertainment. They made the party unforgettable. It was worth every penny. This is not a corny wedding band. This is a band that happens to play weddings (lucky for us). If you want real musicians who take their craft seriously, hire this band. If you want a personable and personalized experience, hire this band. When searching for a wedding band, we quickly realized that musicians come and go and the onus is to find a band leader that you believe can execute and deliver what you want. We wanted a dance band, a band who would keep the party going as we were not having a sit-down dinner, rather a cocktail style reception with unassigned seating. We wanted our guests to focus on the entertainment, the food, and interacting with the space/venue. Toni Menage, the band leader, absolutely delivered and met our expectations. The band was super tight, some musicians even riffed and solo-ed at times and they knew how to play to the mix of the crowd. As I went around talking to people during my wedding, I received so many compliments and inquiries regarding the band. At times, I even had to leave said people I was talking to because the band would play a song that I liked and I had to run back to the dance floor. On top of this, Toni and Project Orange went out of their way with extras to make my wedding super special. First, she worked with me to curate the music for my ceremony. My husband walked down the aisle to Salt N Pepa’s, “What a Man” and I walked down to Carl Carlton’s, “She’s a Bad Mama Jama”. I had a specific vision that the hooks of these songs would be performed by singers and not just musicians so the crowd could hear the lyrics and Toni did not even hesitate. She said, “I got you. It’s your day and I want to make sure it’s the best day ever for you.” The crowd giggled as we walked down the aisle and it truly set the tone for the rest of the wedding. It was awesome. Then, she arranged to get an extra speaker because I had to have Prince’s recorded version “Let’s Go Crazy” as my recessional and she did that too. I am sure this was extra work and kind of a pain in the butt but Toni never made me feel like I was being a demanding bride. She heard my wants and delivered. Lastly, for my side of the family which is Latin, she arranged a Latin music set and brought in a Spanish-speaking singer. Toni goes above and beyond to ensure her clients are satisfied and whenever the next big life celebration will be, I will definitely hire Project Orange. Also – you will be supporting a person of color, woman-owned business and to all my brides who are POCs, it is great to support women like Toni.

HANDS DOWN BEST BAND. Do not look any further than Project Orange for your wedding or any event you are hosting. My husband and I hired them for our wedding, after meeting with multiple big name bands in NYC area... we decided to go with Project Orange. And they did NOT let us, our families, or any of the guests down. Words cannot explain how talented each of their musicians are; and how FUN each of them are. They played every song we requested and more. They know how to read a large room and play the type of music the crowd wants to hear. They put their hearts and soul into every song, enjoying themselves, and make the crowd go crazy ( in a good way!) I cannot tell you how pleased we are and how MUCH FUN WE HAD BECAUSE OF PROJECT ORANGE. Every single guest could not get over how amazing they are. I still have people reaching out to me a week later saying how great they were and they were the best band they had ever seen. Hire Project Orange at your next event. We had the highest hopes for Project Orange and they exceeded them! Seeing them perform is like having front row tickets to the most entertaining band you can think of, one you've heard is INSANE live. Honestly, they MADE our wedding because they didn't play like they were at a wedding - its like the band was back together and they were performing their greatest hits!! When we've asked our guests if they enjoyed themselves everyone first says "that BAND!!" Trust me, going with them is the best use of money for your big day - it will be memorable, for sure!!!

This is the only wedding band that you’ll ever need. Toni and her team of extraordinary musicians put on a show that my husband and I will never forget! They were professional, extremely easy to work with and played everything we could have wanted and more! Their artistry and talent shined through in every song and we wish we could relive the music of our wedding all over again. I highly encourage you to choose Project Orange for your wedding. You will not be disappointed.

If you don’t want a regular wedding band you MUST call Project Orange! We had wanted a classy, funky vibe and Toni brought it ALL! Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night - young, old - it didn’t matter! The band played such an awesome mix of jams, people are still texting and calling asking about them! No one wanted to stop dancing and used dinner as a commercial break in between dance sets! We cannot wait for another excuse to party and have Project Orange make it epic! They are worth every cent and just hope I get invited to a party where they are performing soon!

I absolutely cannot recommend Project Orange more highly. I found out about them several years ago when they played at my friend's wedding in Rhode Island, and then saw them play again with my fiance (on our first date!!) at Toshi's Living Room in NYC, so I knew from the start I wanted them to perform at our wedding (I just prayed that they were free that day and they were). They kept the energy up all night and were smiling and wonderful throughout the whole event. They have a unique style where they almost sound like DJs in some instances...they will mash two songs up together or fade right from one into another. We heard nothing but "where did you find this awesome BAND!" all night long. Many thanks to Toni Menage for helping us work out all the details.

We spent MONTHS searching for the right wedding band, and we're so glad we didn't settle. Project Orange blew our minds with their amazing performance at our February wedding. We did not want the typical "wedding band" wearing cheap tuxes and singing overplayed music. Project orange was funky, modern, and just so cool. Our recently married friends were jealous that they did not pick project orange for their wedding. Freedom performed an AMAZING version of "think of me as your soldier" for our first dance. Everyone asked about Toni and her amazing singing all night long. The back up singers were really really good too. Project orange played tons of Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, and classics, but also played fun recent songs like Cee-Lo's" Forget You" We hired 2 of Project Orange's musicians for our ceremony music, and they played tons of Beatles, white album songs. The coordinator for Project Orange, Hallie, was always so professional and helpful. She made planning our wedding effortless :). We highly recommend project orange!!!

Project Orange rocked our wedding for 200 people. Great high energy and everyone was dancing. They closed with a great version of James Brown’s “I got you (I feel good).” What is really amazing about Project Orange is their versatility. They were amazing with newer music like Usher and Lady Gaga but were also unbelievable with The Police, Lenny Kravetz, and Motown. Highly recommend them.

Project Orange made our wedding spectacular from start to finish. From the wedding ceremony processional to the last dance song at 1am, their sound was fantastic. They played it all with energy, enthusiasm and originality covering newer musicians such as Cee Lo Green, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, The Police and R&B legends such as Sam & Dave, The Jackson 5, The Staple Singers and more. They also played the classiest Jazz standards during dinner, and started the dancing with a romping Hora early in the night. The band leads were great to work with and accommodated our requests, even adding new songs to their repertoire. Everyone from age 4 to 94 was on the dance floor loving their tight New York concert sound. The compliments we've been getting from our guests have been non-stop. Project Orange, thank you!

I would have given 10 stars, but that wasn't an option. We fell in love with Project Orange from the moment I spoke to Freedom on the phone. Rather than having us drive into the city to meet, he came over to our house. We listened to the demos, talked about what music and artists we enjoyed, watched a DVD of the bands most recent showcase, drank some wine, and discussed our favorite TV shows- it was as if we were reuniting with a long lost friend. As soon as Freedom left, my "now" husband and I just looked at each other and smiled. Freedom and Toni were more than accommodating, as we had an unusual need for our wedding. We needed a polish signer to be incorporated into the band for our special night. As if Freedom and Toni had already been doing their research, they immediately sent us some footage and tracks of a polish signer they were familiar with. It was perfect! Freedom and Toni put together a variety of options of how to incorporate the two types of music including different price points. Throughout the last couple of months leading up to the wedding, Freedom and Toni were willing and able to provide us with input for the big day. They did not hesitate when we asked them to play 3 specific songs that were not included on their very extensive play list and offered us numerous suggestions when we did not know where to start with an introductory song,\ and mother/son, father/daughter dances. On our wedding day WE WERE BLOWN AWAY! It absolutely was the concert experience we had hoped for and more! Project Orange played music guests of all ages could enjoy, and they did! The entire night the dance floor was packed! Freedom and Toni would come down off the stage, singing through the crowds, igniting an energy on the dance floor that no one could resist! Project Orange made our wedding exceed all of our hope and dreams of what it would be. Our friends and family often approach my husband and I, and say that we set the standard a little too high and that it was the best wedding they had ever been too. We said from the beginning of this planning process that, the band makes the wedding and we cannot say enough positive, raving, amazing things to say about Freedom, Toni, and the rest of the members of Project Orange.
