It helped so much to have our photographer, videographer, and DJ from the same company because they already knew how to work so well together. We also got our entire edited gallery back to us in exactly one month to the day of our event, so we weren't waiting for weeks and weeks to see our photos. this was a destination wedding for us, there were several "Utah-unique" obstacles we dealt with throughout the planning process—such as last-minute pivoting for sudden changes in weather, and ultimately a snow storm on the wedding night! Throughout it all, Ben and his team were pleasant, communicative, and flexible in rolling with the punches. As a wedding planner, I always appreciate collaborating with other vendors who are not only professional and great at what they do, but friendly and just fun to work with overall. at we wanted to remember from our big day. The turn around time for the video was just about 6 weeks (so incredible and fast!) but looks like it would have taken months to put together. It turned out to be everything we ever wanted in a video and more! We truly couldn’t be happier with the results and suggest every bride use Promani Weddings!!

Our package included an engagement photo session and to our surprise, Promani has photographers in states other than Michigan, so we were able to take our photos in Atlanta, Georgia where we live. Brooke was out photographer and she is the sweetest and did a great job capturing us and our dogs in the heat. For our wedding, we took outdoor photos on the beach, downtown, and indoors and our reception. Shuhrat was our photographer and she was excellent at giving directions and corralling all our people. She also remembered all the little details of which photos we wanted and ones we didn't even think of! The photos she captured are beautiful and the editing style is just what we were looking for. The beach photos are especially beautiful. Austin was our videographer, he and Shuhrat worked seamlessly together. Austin was right in the action of all our important moments, but never in the way. He also used a drone to get cool ceremony and dance floor shots. He even stayed later to capture more of our dance floor antics, which was amazing of him. I can't wait to see the results of his hard work!

a very unprofessional back and forth between our photographer and the owner, Ben. We never were able to get our engagement shoot, which was part of the package we paid for, due to the poor communication of the contracted photographer. The photographer did not upload the pictures properly (we assume as there has been no communication about how our pictures were lost), we only have about ~160 photos of our wedding out of a promised 400+, most of which are of the setting- we have almost none of us and even less of our guests. The owner, Ben, was not at all helpful in the recovery of our wedding photos, blaming the photographer and refusing to reach out to her due to their legal battle over her leaving the company. He also refused to get on the phone with us to resolve the issue. After weeks (6-8) of asking for updates and requests to resolve the issue, Promani did give us a partial refund, we got everything but the tax back. This was the absolute least they could do considering all they put us through, and was only given after a very frank email from my husband expressing his disappointment in the company’s professionalism. I’m sure that the owner will respond to this attempting to shift the blame and take none of the responsibility, you only have to look at the other low reviews to know that. Ultimately, this is his company, the photographer was hired by him to represent his company. Although we did get most of our money back, it took weeks of follow up and minimal support from the owner. I would have expected better from a company that photographs people’s most important days. I personally think that you can only judge a company based on how they handle difficult situations which is why I am rating 1 star and even bothering to leave a lengthy review in the first place. Please look into other photography options, you need to know a company will treat you right and handle things with grace should they go wrong.
