Prospect 772 Wine Company

We loved Prospect 772 for our wedding venue and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cute outdoor venue in the Calaveras hills. The owner and his staff were extremely gracious and very friendly helpful throughout the weekend. I will say the on-site coordinator was a little challenging to work with at times as many of the things we were told when we visited the site before choosing to have the wedding there weren't necessarily true, but most of that was minor details and didn't negatively impact our day in the long run. They more than made up for it on the day of the wedding by making sure we and our guests were well taken care of. Not to mention, the wine is amazing. All of our guests loved it. We had our ceremony at the Catholic church and elected to have our ceremony in the back meadow because we liked it better. We were able to have our planner string some lights and it made for a beautiful and peaceful backdrop that easily accommodated our guest count of ~100 people with a dance floor. We also utilized the Air BnB option by staying in the 2 bedroom apartment above the tasting room and it made everything so easy. It has a beautiful, open layout with plenty of space for me and my family and friends to get ready. They also were kind enough to allow our pups who joined us for the reception. Overall an amazing venue with amazing staff. We are so happy with our decision and wouldn't have done anything differently. We're extremely grateful to Francis, Aimee and their staff for making our day extra special and would highly recommend this venue to anyone who asked.

There isn't enough we could say about our love for Prospect 772!! Francis, Aimee, Cindy and their team are incredible and we would recommend them to any couple out there looking for a memorable, inviting, and beautiful venue for their special day! First of all, the grounds are just spectacular, offering beautiful interior facilities as well as a scenic vineyard, multiple gathering spaces, kitchen/food prep space and acreage that leave you just feeling the wonders and beauties that Calaveras county holds... from the very first time I saw the twinkling lights enhancing the dance floor, I knew this place was special! If you are a wine lover, you will adore their wines as well as the people who pour it:) Our wedding was made into an absolute dream here and we owe so much gratitude to the staff here who thought about and showed excitement for us in every detail! The interior spaces (both offered for us and our guests to enjoy) were so comfortable and made preparations so easy on us, the tasting room made for a great mingling space before the ceremony with air conditioning and the surrounding awning and oak trees offered shade for our guests, since early August brought some heat. All in all, please visit Prospect 772 and you will see for yourself the beauty and amazing opportunity it holds- the staff has so much combined experience and all work immensely hard to make sure you are happy and taken care of<3
