e thing from 8 hours away. Kara was incredibly responsive via phone and email, and never made me feel bad for asking hundreds of questions. She walked through all our final touches a few weeks before the wedding and explained how everything would flow and the prices, which was really nice to know everything ahead of time. When the day arrived, she helped us set up all our DIY decorations and offered easels to use when ours didn't work. We got so many compliments on the delicious food as well - and I can't say enough good things about the wait staff as they were so attentive to my husband and I. They got our food for us and even asked us if we needed a drink a few times throughout the night. I'd highly recommend this venue to anyone in the Youngstown area - it's so beautiful inside and very modern compared to some of the other older venues. The team is top notch and I'm so glad we picked this venue to get married.

Provence Mills was a perfect addition to the Youngstown area and our guests loved the venue just as much as we did. We particularly loved the big bar, the modern but elegant style, & having a cozy and beautiful back patio area for our guests to extend the party. Cafe 422 provided amazing food & working with Kara for my floral was nothing short of amazing. She brought my vision to life & I loved working with her. She even stopped by the wedding TWICE even though it was her day off. Slavenca & Bri were also so helpful throughout planning as well and worked our wedding day. We are forever grateful for all 3 of these ladies & we will be recommending Provence Mills to any and everyone we know!

over!) 1. First off- my grandparents immigrated to the US back in the 60's from Italy- so I have been spoiled my entire life. I am always super critical of food. Especially Italian. Cafe 422-- I honestly can't say enough good things. The wedding spread was absolutely incredible. And we got a semi basic package. You know how like 99% of the weddings you go to, the food is lukewarm, barely seasoned and just overall trash? Our wedding food was incredible and got raves for literally everyone at our wedding. So good! 2) Kara and Slavenca were awesome-- almost everything is included so you don't need to worry about much- the linens, centerpieces, chairs, and table set up. And everything was set-up to exactly what I wanted. They were responsive and willing to accommodate a lot of our requests. They take pride in their venue and it absolutely shows. 3) Kara is a florist by trade and OMG. Wow. HIGHLY recommend choosing her to be your florist too. She did my bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets, the boutonnieres, and the large centerpieces that I wanted on my head table. I sent her like 3 photos I saw on Pinterest- and she BY FAR exceeded my expectations. And the price is great too! Overall-- we didn't have one single hiccup with our day. The venue was designed beautifully, and the food was incredible. I'm extremely picky when it comes to design + interiors, and Provence Mills is the best place you're going to find anywhere in the area. You should book it.

The venue provided top notch service during our dinner. Planning the dinner was so simple, and the team was very detail-oriented. I highly recommend their services!

ything going on in the world as of late…it was just going to be a very intimate affair with just our kids involved. We learned of a new venue opening soon in Girard, OH—Provence Mills, and they were more than inviting and compassionate to the challenges we were facing trying to plan our special day. Kara and Slavenca, the co-owners and event planners, couldn’t have possibly done a finer job hosting us after our ceremony. They purposefully set-up two separate seating areas—one overlooking a spectacular view of a wooded valley to enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres; the other within a really cool steel structure to enjoy our main meal. And the food! The hors d’oeuvres were nothing short of spectacular—artichokes romano and bacon-wrapped filets, followed, at our own pace, with scallops, ahi tuna, caprese salad, and prosciutto-wrapped asparagus as our main course. They finished-off the evening with a replica of our wedding cake, which was such a special touch! The whole evening was unforgettable, and my wife and I remarked that it might have actually been better than our actual wedding day festivities, because we could just relax and enjoy ourselves. We didn’t have the pressure of greeting guests and “putting on a show”. Kara’s and Slavenca’s attention to detail was ridiculous! They didn’t miss a thing and they secretly worked with our daughter to have pictures from our original wedding sitting in tasteful frames around the respective seating areas. That was so nice! It really took us back to that day. Before dinner, they arranged to play our wedding song, which gave me the chance to dance with my wife again. They also arranged to have a photographer there to capture the moments as we arrived and interacted with our adult kids throughout the evening. It was just such a great and special evening for us. We didn’t know what to expect, as we left the whole evening in Kara’s hands to coordinate…if they do for a bigger event what they did for us, you’ll be extremely happy. Simply amazing!

Having heard my situation of a cancelled ceremony and celebration combined with unsuccessful attempts to reschedule this event, Kara, one of the owners of Provence Mills, approached me and offered to host this event at Provence Mills. While not quite open, the renovation of the space and the owners were more than ready to handle our intimate event. My husband and I were immediately thankful, tearful, and appreciative. This event was so meaningful to us as we celebrated our first 25 years and embraced the future of our marriage. Kara’s offer allowed us to schedule this event and experience one of the most beautiful memories in our marriage on the actual day of our silver anniversary, June 17th! We had our ceremony in Pittsburgh and the venue was so convenient – so Ohio or PA – look no further than Provence Mills for your special event. Kara was fabulous to work with. She is caring, creative, trustworthy, organized, and has attention to detail like I’ve never experienced. She asked all the right questions, listened intently, took careful notes, and offered unique ideas. Kara coordinated and provided services from her extensive network of wedding-related businesses (catering, bakeries, photography, calligraphy, and etc.) in order to customize our special day. Once we discussed a plan, she took it from there and offered regular updates and checked in for confirmations as needed. Working with Kara made it not only fun, but extremely stress free. Take it from me and my Type A personality, I did not worry- I simply enjoyed the moments leading up to a special celebration with my husband and children. I knew after working with Kara and her lovely business partner Slavenca, that my event was in the hands of sweet, caring, and extremely capable professionals. When I arrived at Provence Mills, what I saw brought tears of joy and awe to my eyes. The space in which we relaxed with our children and enjoyed amazing appetizers and a delicious five-star meal transported me to a beautiful resort-like atmosphere. We decided to have our event outdoors and the view and sunset was simply breathtaking. The entire evening was well-paced and well-orchestrated. There was as a nod to our original wedding cake as dessert – Kara contacted a bakery and they recreated our wedding cake which I never got to eat at our first wedding! The dinner space had personalized menus, pictures of us, a photographer there upon arrival to capture the moment, and many other personal touches that made the event special. We even got to dance to our original wedding song. I can’t say enough about this gorgeous venue and extremely talented event planners - Kara and Slavenca! I highly recommend Provence Mills – you will be so glad you chose them
