I can't say enough about Anya and Jimmy - they are so much fun to work with and so professional - we worked with them for our engagement photos, first small wedding during Covid and larger reception this past August. They are extremely organized and prompt, and really bring out the best of all of the participants - making you laugh, distracting small children, and coaxing smiles out of even the most reluctant guests. The photos are beautiful and I would highly recommend working with them.

We are so glad we hired Jimmy & Anya as our wedding photographers! First of all, they are serious couple goals. So sweet, down to earth, and absolutely hilarious! They took the most beautiful photos of our family and friends, and captured so many great moments on our special day. In the engagement session, they even had a sewing kit handy to fix the button falling off a coat! They made the entire wedding weekend stress free and super efficient - capturing every possible photo and telling everyone what to do in a fun and organized way. We HIGHLY recommend the Prudentes to all couples! They are the truly best!

We are so glad we chose Prudente for our big day!! Jimmy and Anya were amazing and as others have said, just so much fun to be around. They eased any photography nerves we were feeling and went above and beyond! We knew we made the right choice after seeing the reaction of our photos with our friends. Please, pick Prudente for all your wedding photo needs, the pictures came out stunning. Never in my life did I feel feel like a Victoria's Secret model (300 lb 6'1'' male) until I met Jimmy and Anya. They take pride in their work and really cared about the evening, making sure every shot was done right and accounted for. There is a reason they're highly ranked on a majority of the wedding sites. My cousin (who's album is used an an example) use Prudente and felt the same. They really make you feel welcome, hanging out with you for the majority of the day, Jimmy became one of the bros and fit right in with my groomsmen party. Their professionalism is unmatched. High Recommend!

We were so lucky to have Jimmy & Anya with us on our wedding day to capture our big day. I researched a lot of photographers, but the second I saw their work - I knew they were perfect for us. Jimmy & Anya were incredibly easy to work with, so genuine and passionate about what they do. They work so well together and are insanely talented. We were obsessed with our engagement photos and are even more obsessed with our wedding photos. Beyond our expectations. They managed to perfectly capture our day, and they made it look easy! Photos were so seamless and organized - we felt more like we were hanging out with friends than doing formal portraits. They also did much more than their role of photographer - they helped keep us on schedule, solve any minor issues that came up, and were honestly very fun to be around. (We found all of our time in front of the camera to be not only painless, but genuinely enjoyable!) The best part was our 100% confidence and trust in them - we gave them little direction and they perfectly captured the day exactly how we would have. It made our lives so much easier knowing we were in the best of hands. We cannot recommend them enough!!

My husband and I cannot rave enough about Jimmy and Anya. Not only do they work hard and take phenomenal photos, but they truly went above and beyond their role as photographers on our wedding day. Seriously! At one point, I spilled red wine all over my wedding dress - Jimmy was the first to leap up and get seltzer, a Tide to go pen and then some white wine - within MINUTES all trace of a stain was gone! It was incredible! He literally saved my wedding dress and many photos yet to come. He also knew the exact trick when my dad's neck was too big for the bowtie - Jimmy saved the day by MacGyver-ing a solution with a hair tie! Anya, meanwhile, was equally an angel by helping me with my dress as it shaped and shifted throughout the entire day. As you can read, Jimmy and Anya, did much more than their role of photographer, and we can't thank them enough for being not just huge helpers, but honestly fun to be around. A friend gave us advice when choosing photographers that you want people you'll enjoy spending the full day with, because in some ways, you spend more time with them the day of your wedding than with anyone else. If you're looking for two photographers who not only taking amazing photos, but do it with a smile, and help you navigate your biggest day with minimal downs, I could not recommend a better pair! Their attention to detail and our wishes, their ability to jump in the second assistance was needed, their enjoyable and flexible demeanor and great partnership, made the biggest day of our lives, the happiest day of our lives. We loved working with Jimmy and Anya and know you will too!

I can’t recommend Jimmy & Anya enough! If you are newly engaged, book them right now. The quality of their work alone would be enough, but their personalities and ability to make everyone comfortable puts them over the top. Neither my husband or I really enjoy getting our pictures taken, but that changed with the Prudentes behind the cameras. We were dreading the awkwardness of an engagement shoot, but by the end of it were both saying “wow, that was actually fun”. You won’t have to force many if any fake smiles, since they’ll keep you laughing and talking the entire time. They brought that same amazing energy on our wedding day, and I lost count of the compliments I received from guests (“so professional”, “work so well together”, “so organized”, “so personable”, etc. etc.) They also showed a sneak peak of a few pictures during our reception, which everyone LOVED. I know there are many options when looking for a photographer, but they really are the best of the best!

Jimmy and Anya are #goals. When I sat down to write this review, I didn't know where to start or how to say all that I wanted to say in a paragraph or two. Do I talk about how friendly, easy-going and professional Jimmy and Anya were throughout the entire wedding process? Do I mention that after meeting with them once, they felt like old friends and my husband and I knew immediately that we had to work with them? Or, do I focus on how comfortable they made us feel in front of the camera as they captured both our engagement session and entire wedding day? I decided to read some of the recent reviews and quickly realized there was a steady, reoccurring theme… everyone loves Jimmy and Anya Prudente! So, let me share a few of the reasons why my husband and I love Jimmy and Anya. They exceeded all of our expectations and made the whole wedding planning process stress free and fun. They helped fine tune our wedding timeline and prioritize what we wanted captured. We couldn't be happier with the finished photos and will cherish each and every one (and you get thousands!) for years to come :)

Incredible. THE best! When we were looking for a photographer we generally knew what we wanted - timely, professional, beautiful work, etc. What we didnt realize is when you go with Prudente, you get that and so much more. Jimmy and Anya are charismatic, hilarious, inviting and warm. They made us feel immediately at ease throughout the entire process and even made *nuzzle* photos fun! They helped keep us on track all throughout our wedding day and were generally the kind of people you just cant wait to spend the day with. Our photos were incredible and some of we frequently get the compliment that they are some of the best people have seen. I cant recommend them enough for such an important and special occasion.

I cannot even begin to describe how incredible Prudente Photography is. Jimmy and Anya are true professionals and surpassed all of our expectations. Anya and Jimmy are amazing and an unbelievable team! Our family and friends couldn't stop talking about how fun and awesome they are - definitely people you want to spend your wedding day with! They knew our ceremony site and venue better than us, and were super helpful with our wedding day timeline! As if that wasn't enough, Anya helped me put on my veil, take off my veil, and bustle my dress - I don't know what I would've done without her! We just got our photos back and could not be happier!!

We booked Jimmy & Anya for our April 2018 wedding in Boston and they were truly amazing from the start to the finish! Very responsive, fair pricing (especially when you get both of them!) super fun, and amazing quality photos! They captured so many of the moments we wanted to see and since we didn't get a videographer, we really relied on them to make sure our wedding came to life in the photos and could be something we look back on forever. They didn't let us down! When the photos were ready, they even invited us to their home to see the pictures. Their children are just adorable and we were so grateful they welcomed us into their home. We would highly recommend them to anyone who wants stress free wedding photographers!

Jimmy and Anya are seriously the best! This husband and wife team work awesome together and are so easy to get along with! They make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and all their photos come out beautiful. The morning of the wedding Jimmy and Anya kept us to our timeline and captured amazing moments with our bridal party. We could not have asked for a better experience than we had with the Prudentes! We are so happy that we chose to work and Jimmy and Anya for our wedding day, they are truly THE BEST! If you are looking for fun, energetic, knowledgeable and talented photographers, look no further than Prudente Photography!! Jimmy and Anya Prudente are truly passionate about photography and you can tell by their amazing work. When we began our search for photographers, our number one goal was to feel comfortable around them since they will basically be around you the entire day. As soon as I talked to Jimmy on the phone for our initial conversation, I knew they would be perfect! His funny sense of humor to his professionalism about his job was extraordinary. We did our engagement shoot in Boston with them and they exceeded our expectation! Our family and friends continue to make comments about how amazing our engagement pictures came out. On the day of our wedding, we truly felt like they were just out friends hanging out with us! They cracked jokes all day long to make everyone comfortable and were able to capture real smiles! They were there with us every part of the day to capture every moment and emotion that went into our wedding day. One thing they did in particular that I really liked was they asked us to provide a list of family/friend combinations for pictures for in between the ceremony and reception. When Jimmy was taking the pictures, Anya was getting the next group ready. Being prepared like this helped moved the pictures right along without having to make sure we remembered everything on the spot. At the end of the night, they set up their laptop with a slide show of the pictures they had taken so far! It was amazing to see how quick they could do that and my husband and I were so excited to watch a sneak preview! Jimmy and Anya shared our sneak peek pictures on Facebook just one week later! There were about 65 pictures from throughout the whole day and we loved every single one of them. Again, family and friends who have seen those are amazed at how stunning they look! This text box isn't long enough to capture just how amazing Anya & Jimmy were as our photographers. We just got our photos back and we are speechless--absolutely beautiful. Both Anya & Jimmy were amazing to work with during our engagement photos, pre-wedding prep, and the day of. AND ON TOP OF ALL THAT, they were one of the most reasonably priced photographers we researched.

Anya and Jimmy were awesome to work with from the very start. The communication was fast and clear at all times! My husband and I felt extremely comfortable working with them for the engagement shoot (as well as the wedding.) They made us feel at ease and made the experience enjoyable! When it came to the wedding day they continued to make us both feel comfortable... as well as our family members and guests. I can't tell you how many people mentioned how nice Jimmy and Anya were to work with. At the end of it all we were thrilled with our photo's and I of course was thrilled with the quicker than expected turn around time!!

The best of the best. They absolutely nailed it. There is no better feeling than to look through the photos of your wedding and truly be blown away. Jimmy and Anya were a joy to be around. They are kind and they are funny. On top of that, they are so well planned and organized. They helped me with the timing and coordination of the entire day. A well oil machine when it came to getting family and group pictures, everyone was so impressed. They were so creative when it came to our personal and candid pictures. The outcome was pure beauty.

Jimmy and Anya are the best. The Prudentes photographed my sister and brother-in-law's wedding back in 2015 and as soon as I got engaged and had a venue in mind, I knew I needed to plan my wedding date based on their availability. Their dynamic as a husband and wife team truly works in their favor - they work together SO well and make the whole experience so much fun. We loved that they offer engagement photos as part of their package because it allowed us to get comfortable with them and in front of the camera before our wedding day. They were so accommodating with date and time and got the engagement photos back to us so quickly. Additionally, they are so knowledgeable about running the wedding day and were so responsive to all my of emails about timing and how things would work on the big day. When it came time for the wedding, Anya and I had a call the week before and went over all of the details. On the day of, they arrived on time and ready to work and have fun. I love that though they take their work seriously, they do not take themselves too seriously and made the wedding day/moments fun and lighthearted. At times, it actually felt like they could have been invited guests because they were so easy to talk to and we had so much fun with them. I completely trusted their judgement with the way pictures were coming out and appreciated the honest feedback they would give as they shot. The Prudentes were so organized and the family/bridal party shots went very quickly. We had the most wonderful experience with Jimmy and Anya and are so thankful they photographed our wedding day. We cannot wait to see more pictures!

I am honestly obsessed with Anya and Jimmy. Working with them was easily one of my favorite things about planning my wedding. I wish I could hang out with them every day of my life they are just that fun! My fiance was deployed at the time I started planning our wedding, and Jimmy and Anya did such an incredible job of answering all the questions he had while away, and really made us both confident that they were best for the job. Their attention to detail throughout the entire process was great, they were always 5 steps ahead of us and prepared for so many "what if" situations that we hadn't even thought about. They made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera, and did a great job at truly capturing our wedding day. Their work is stunning, every image captured was simple but romantic, just so beautiful. I appreciate that their work isn't crazy edited and over-the-top enhanced for some artsy effect. I knew we wanted pictures that were true to the day, and Jimmy and Anya did not disappoint. We have been married for 8 months now, and I still look at my wedding pictures every day and am just as obsessed with them as I was when we first got them.

There isn't a rating high enough for these two - to be honest even a million star review wouldn't capture just how amazing they are. They go completely above and beyond, they keep your whole day on track, their pictures are incredible, and they are just a blast to be around. With all of the options/decisions you need to make for your wedding day, this one is a complete no brainier! THE PRUDENTES ARE THE BEST!!

We booked Jimmy & Anya for our Indian fusion wedding. From our first phone conversation with them, we felt super comfortable. They blew us away at our Engagement session with the photos and their fun, playful demeanor. It was really great to have both of them playing off each other to come up with great photo ops, and they also were super receptive to our requests for specific photos. On our wedding day, there were so many moving parts with 2 separate ceremonies, group photos in 2 separate outfits, a first look, a baraat, and the reception. I knew that my mind would be spinning and I was looking for a photographer that would be able to take charge, efficiently instruct groups during photos and not make it feel like we were taking pictures allllllll day. Jimmy & Anya were amazing and they blended seamlessly with the crowd & needless to say got amazing shots. We were so so happy with our photos. They even made us a super cute slideshow to music that helped us relive the day! THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!

BOOK THEM AS SOON AS YOU HAVE YOUR DATE! My husband and I got engaged in Oct 2015, and we knew hands down we were going with Prudente Photography for our Oct 2017 wedding. Jimmy and Anya had done his sisters wedding 2 years before, and we could not call them fast enough. Although they are located in Boston, for our first meeting they came down to us in Providence RI to discuss prices, options, engagement shoots ect. We booked them for our NY wedding that very day and set our engagement shoot shortly after. Their prices were also well without our budget! Jimmy and Anya truly feel like family, you are just comfortable around them, which makes for AWESOME pictures. As we got closer to the wedding day, they were extremely responsive and willing to jump on calls to discuss and guide us with what types of photos we wanted taken. During the wedding, we did a first look and really got great shots before guests even arrived. We can not WAIT to get the rest of the pictures.

We LOVED having Jimmy and Anya with us on our wedding day! They made us feel comfortable and had us laughing through the whole process. Jimmy and Anya could not have been more incredible! From the first moment we met them for coffee to chat, we knew we wanted them to be a part of our big day. The fun energy and professionalism they bring to their work is unparalleled. From our engagement session to the wedding, Jimmy and Anya are artists through and through. You can tell they've done this a time or two in the way they effortlessly keep the day running on time. They coordinated directly with our venue and MC to ensure that everything ran perfectly, without us ever having to worry! In fact, when I began to get a bit nervous and overwhelmed the morning of, Anya took me away from the group to take some portrait shots and catch my breath. Honestly, our day would not have been nearly what it was without Jimmy and Anya, and we have (and will continue to) recommend them to everyone we know. You will never for a second regret choosing Jimmy and Anya for your special day!

My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Jimmy and Anya. From the day we met with them to discuss our wedding plans , to the engagement photos, up to the wedding day, they have made us feel like we were their only clients. They were always reachable with speedy replies via email and answered every question we had. Engagement photos came out beautiful, and it gave us a chance to get to know them, and it helped us as a couple become comfortable in front of the camera before our wedding day. On the day of our wedding Anya was pregnant, and ready to deliver any week. They had a plan in place and hired a third photographer as back up if she went into labor before or during the wedding!! On our wedding day they truly captured all the special moments between my husband and I. The pictures from our wedding were breath taking, and I loved all the candid pictures of our guests enjoying themselves. I would highly recommend them, you can tell they have passion and truly love what they do and it shows i their work.

Jimmy and Anya are the best! My husband and I are not naturals in front of the camera but they guided us through our engagement and wedding photos and both turned out to be absolutely amazing! They work so well together being a husband and wife team and they approach each photo from a different angle, which resulted in a variety of great shots. The day of our wedding our DJ was a mess and had to be replaced and we were pretty upset while waiting for the new one to arrive. Jimmy and Anya jumped in during the awkward period, made us feel better, and seized the opportunity to take pictures. They felt like friends who fit naturally into our wedding. Our guests and parents commented on how much they liked them and how comfortable they made them feel, and more than one person told us they took the most beautiful wedding photos they've ever seen. We highly recommend them!

Our photographers were our favorite part of our wedding. Jimmy and Anya were amazing and I am so glad we went with them for our wedding photography. They were probably the 10th wedding photographers we had met with and we could tell they were by far the best. They were so welcoming and knowledgable about what they were doing. That knowledge absolutely showed in their photos. I had multiple guests tell me how amazing both our wedding and our engagement pictures came out. They were so flexible and Jimmy responded to all my crazy bride emails as everything continued to change (as it usually does in a wedding). I cannot express how much I appreciate all the work they did to make our wedding special. My husband and I are both very uncomfortable in front of the camera, but Jimmy and Anya were so easy to work with that it made us so relaxed. Again, I can't stress this enough... They made us feel as though we were the only wedding they had on their schedules even though they have weddings every weekend night. Jimmy and Anya from Prudente Photography were the easiest decision we made when it came to our vendors. They did my sisters wedding, and several of my friends. From our engagement session to the "night shot" at our wedding, Jimmy and Anya were so personable, easy-going, and easy to work with (on top of being incredible photographers). From the moment my husband and I first met with Jimmy and Anya, they made us both feel like we did not have to stress about anything relating to photography for our wedding. From picking a date for our engagement photos, to finding Christmas lights in November to create the perfect save the date picture that I envisioned, to helping us plan every detail of our wedding day so the actual day would go without a hitch, Jimmy and Anya went above and beyond for us. On our actual wedding day, the strap of my dress broke right before I was entering the church, Anya was right there for me and had the necessary tools with her to fix my dress. From 2pm (getting ready) until the end of the night, the Prudente's were present every time I turned around capturing every moment I would of wanted a picture of. My husband and I, our family and friends are blown away at our wedding pictures but are not at all surprised how amazing they are. I recommend the Prudente's to any couple planning a wedding and could not of imagined working with anyone else after this wonderful experience and amazing pictures to last a lifetime.

Hiring Jimmy and Anya was absolutely the BEST decision we made during our wedding planning. They were our favorite vendor and just an awesome duo. The quality was breathtaking. Everyone just raved about our photos (both engagement and wedding), including serious photographer friends. Advice to prospective brides: when shopping for a photographer, make sure you ask to see full wedding samples (i.e. complete collection of photos from a wedding). Every photographer will be able to put a few nice photos on their website. But you can really tell the true quality of a photographer by seeing a sample full wedding collection and comparing this against others. Before we hired Jimmy and Anya, we were choosing between a few photographers, but after seeing full wedding samples, it was clear that Jimmy and Anya were in a league by themselves. All the photos they delivered are edited and enhanced, and the photo quality, angles, and style was just amazing! Some other thoughts: - We had a very dim, low-light venue-- a huge ballroom. We were originally very concerned about the lighting, especially after seeing photos from previous weddings. We showed Jimmy and Anya photos of the venue, and on the wedding day they went out of their way to bring in super fancy flash lighting equipment. The photos turned out amazing!! Far better than any other photos we've seen of this venue. There was no lighting issue whatsoever and everything was SO clear and just gorgeous. I think this really showcases both their supreme technical expertise in photography and dedication to producing the best quality photographs. - If you've never done professional photos before, Jimmy and Anya will put you at ease and drive the entire process so you don't need to think. They'll tell you what to do, think up great locations/angles. It's really great. Some groomsmen mentioned "I love that they tell us what to do!" - Jimmy and Anya shoot as a duo. So you get two really top photographers. They work really well together and on the wedding day they basically coordinated the entire logistics of the getting ready and first look. For the groomsmen, Jimmy also helped with every aspect of getting ready-- showing them how to tie bowties, how to fold a pocketsquare (he folded all the pocketsquares! The groomsmen were huge fans) - They do whatever it takes to do a really great job; you never feel rushed. You feel they really care! This is not just a job for them, it's a passion. They were there from the very beginning to the very end. They are true artists. They just have a lot of creativity and artistic sense. - They have a REALLY cute dog - They are just really fun, easygoing, great people to work with. They got along really well with the wedding coordinator and venue coordinators, and our friends and family couldn't stop raving about how awesome they are just by observing them in action and seeing the photos. Several single friends already mentioned they will definitely want Jimmy and Anya for their weddings. Overall, Jimmy and Anya are simply THE BEST. Highly highly highly recommended them. This was absolutely the best vendor decision we made!!!

We have nothing but good things to say about Prudente Photography!! Anya & Jimmy are an absolute dream to work with! They are professional, friendly and can help just about anyone look good in a photo! We were so nervous for our engagement session and did not know what to expect and they made us feel comfortable instantly. We could not stop laughing throughout the whole session. They have an eye to create the most exquisite and unique shots. After our engagement session we could not wait to see them again at our wedding. Jimmy & Anya were always and email or call away to help offer guidance. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience! My only would advise would be to book them as soon as you know your date, they are a hot commodity and we are so happy we booked two years in advance!

From our first phone call, we knew they were it for us! They did not disappoint! From our engagement pictures last year to our wedding last month Jimmy and Anya have been so great to work with. We had a terrific experience working with Prudente Photography for our 4/30/2016 wedding. Jimmy and Anya are an incredible team and truly strike a great balance between personal and professional. From day one, we felt this pair understood what we were looking for from our pictures and were able to execute accordingly. The engagement shoot that they offered was a great way to get to know the two personally, and made us so comfortable in front of them on the day of the wedding. On that note, we really appreciated having two photographers on The Big Day - Anya spent the morning with the girls at our hair and makeup salon, and Jimmy spent the morning with the guys. They were able to capture every moment of our day, and yet did so in an unassuming, unobtrusive way. We both felt that Jimmy and Anya were extra friends on the day of our wedding, whether it was assisting the guys with their boutinnieres or helping me with last minute accessory decisions, they went out of their way to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. We had a wedding of over 200 guests, and they were able to accommodate a long list of mandatory shots, and to capture an amazing array of candids as well. We would happily recommend Prudente Photography to anyone and are so lucky to have worked with them.

Truly the best photographers. You will not regret hiring them for your wedding day! I am incredibly type A and can get anxious easily. Both Anya and Jimmy helped keep me cool, calm and collected on my wedding day. That truly speaks volumes!!! Pictures are incredible. You will be disappointed in your decision if you DON'T hire them!

Jimmy and Anya are terrific. We could not say more positive things about their professionalism, style and humor--to make pictures as comfortable and fun as possible! They worked with us to get beautiful photos, engagement and the day of--and spent 10 hours with us! We are so happy with how everything came out and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!!

My daughter and son-in-law used Prudente Photography for their August 2015 wedding. I am in awe of their creativity and the quality of their work is off the charts! They actively listened to what my daughter wanted as far as capturing the spirit of the day and the blended in and made it happen. They couldn't have been more friendly and they coaxed the best out of everyone and every shot. I would use them again in a heartbeat. In fact, while they reside in the Boston area, they were happy to make the trip to Philadelphia for our event. I continue to enjoy their work by following them on Facebook. 5 stars isn't enough in my opinion!

I first saw Jimmy and Anya in action at my friend’s wedding three years ago. As one of the first weddings of our friend group, we were novices to say the least. When I brought the dress into the venue, all of us girls crowded around to look in awe. None of us wanted to touch the dress and we weren’t quite sure what to do with it…..finally someone said “um…Anya, you’re around wedding dresses often….what should we do?.” She instantly jumped into action with an “okay ladies! Let’s get this dress out of the bag!” Right there and then, I knew if I ever got married, I wanted her with me snapping photos :) When the time came and I was engaged, we were anxious to get Prudente Photography booked. I had heard many friends’ and acquaintances’ horror stories about photographers. We knew we could count on Jimmy and Anya to be professional, dependable and take AMAZING photos. The memories and details of the day fades, what you have left are the pictures! I wanted to make sure ours were awesome. We picked a package with engagement sessions included. It really helped to calm our nerves and get to know Jimmy and Anya as a team. My husband and I are FAR from models but Jimmy and Anya made us feel comfortable and confident in our own skin. What I liked most was if something didn’t look right, one of them would pipe up and ask us to move left, pop that hip or raise your chin. To me, that makes all the difference. Their beautiful pictures speak for themselves and they are worth every penny. Honestly, to have them faded into the background on our special day made some of the craziness fade away.
