Their attention to detail in the planning phase was astonishing, and that was taken up 10x further when it came to day of support and capturing every important moment. To give you just one example, Anya helping me with my bustle so I could go in and catch the end of the happy hour and Jimmy helping my husband to make sure his suit was all set for action. They stayed all night, capturing all the beautiful memories you want to reflect on far into the future. When we got our photos back we were in awe all over again. They had the perfect balance of capturing all the photos you want, as well as the photos you could not have dreamed up if you tried. After working with Prudente Photography through an engagement shoot, a micro wedding and our wedding day -- I would hire them again in a heat beat and I recommend that you do too!

They take pride in their work and really cared about the evening, making sure every shot was done right and accounted for. There is a reason they're highly ranked on a majority of the wedding sites. They really make you feel welcome, hanging out with you for the majority of the day, Jimmy became one of the bros and fit right in with my groomsmen party. Their professionalism is unmatched. At one point, I spilled red wine all over my wedding dress - Jimmy was the first to leap up and get seltzer, a Tide to go pen and then some white wine - within MINUTES all trace of a stain was gone! It was incredible! He literally saved my wedding dress and many photos yet to come. He also knew the exact trick when my dad's neck was too big for the bowtie - Jimmy saved the day by MacGyver-ing a solution with a hair tie! Anya, meanwhile, was equally an angel by helping me with my dress as it shaped and shifted throughout the entire day. As you can read, Jimmy and Anya, did much more than their role of photographer, and we can't thank them enough for being not just huge helpers, but honestly fun to be around. A friend gave us advice when choosing photographers that you want people you'll enjoy spending the full day with, because in some ways, you spend more time with them the day of your wedding than with anyone else. If you're looking for two photographers who not only taking amazing photos, but do it with a smile, and help you navigate your biggest day with minimal downs, I could not recommend a better pair! Their attention to detail and our wishes, their ability to jump in the second assistance was needed, their enjoyable and flexible demeanor and great partnership, made the biggest day of our lives, the happiest day of our lives. veryone comfortable puts them over the top. Neither my husband or I really enjoy getting our pictures taken, but that changed with the Prudentes behind the cameras. We were dreading the awkwardness of an engagement shoot, but by the end of it were both saying “wow, that was actually fun”. You won’t have to force many if any fake smiles, since they’ll keep you laughing and talking the entire time. They brought that same amazing energy on our wedding day, and I lost count of the compliments I received from guests (“so professional”, “work so well together”, “so organized”, “so personable”, etc. etc.) They also showed a sneak peak of a few pictures during our reception, which everyone LOVED. I know there are many options when looking for a photographer, but they really are the best of the best!

They helped fine tune our wedding timeline and prioritize what we wanted captured. We couldn't be happier with the finished photos and will cherish each and every one (and you get thousands!) for years to come :)

When we began our search for photographers, our number one goal was to feel comfortable around them since they will basically be around you the entire day. As soon as I talked to Jimmy on the phone for our initial conversation, I knew they would be perfect! His funny sense of humor to his professionalism about his job was extraordinary. We did our engagement shoot in Boston with them and they exceeded our expectation! Our family and friends continue to make comments about how amazing our engagement pictures came out. On the day of our wedding, we truly felt like they were just out friends hanging out with us! They cracked jokes all day long to make everyone comfortable and were able to capture real smiles! They were there with us every part of the day to capture every moment and emotion that went into our wedding day. One thing they did in particular that I really liked was they asked us to provide a list of family/friend combinations for pictures for in between the ceremony and reception. When Jimmy was taking the pictures, Anya was getting the next group ready. Being prepared like this helped moved the pictures right along without having to make sure we remembered everything on the spot. At the end of the night, they set up their laptop with a slide show of the pictures they had taken so far! It was amazing to see how quick they could do that and my husband and I were so excited to watch a sneak preview! Jimmy and Anya shared our sneak peek pictures on Facebook just one week later! There were about 65 pictures from throughout the whole day and we loved every single one of them. Again, family and friends who have seen those are amazed at how stunning they look! My fiance was deployed at the time I started planning our wedding, and Jimmy and Anya did such an incredible job of answering all the questions he had while away, and really made us both confident that they were best for the job. Their attention to detail throughout the entire process was great, they were always 5 steps ahead of us and prepared for so many "what if" situations that we hadn't even thought about. They made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera, and did a great job at truly capturing our wedding day. Their work is stunning, every image captured was simple but romantic, just so beautiful. I appreciate that their work isn't crazy edited and over-the-top enhanced for some artsy effect. I knew we wanted pictures that were true to the day, and Jimmy and Anya did not disappoint. We have been married for 8 months now, and I still look at my wedding pictures every day and am just as obsessed with them as I was when we first got them.

It was really great to have both of them playing off each other to come up with great photo ops, and they also were super receptive to our requests for specific photos. On our wedding day, there were so many moving parts with 2 separate ceremonies, group photos in 2 separate outfits, a first look, a baraat, and the reception. I knew that my mind would be spinning and I was looking for a photographer that would be able to take charge, efficiently instruct groups during photos and not make it feel like we were taking pictures allllllll day. Jimmy & Anya were amazing and they blended seamlessly with the crowd & needless to say got amazing shots. We were so so happy with our photos. They even made us a super cute slideshow to music that helped us relive the day! THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!

Although they are located in Boston, for our first meeting they came down to us in Providence RI to discuss prices, options, engagement shoots ect. We booked them for our NY wedding that very day and set our engagement shoot shortly after. Their prices were also well without our budget! Jimmy and Anya truly feel like family, you are just comfortable around them, which makes for AWESOME pictures. As we got closer to the wedding day, they were extremely responsive and willing to jump on calls to discuss and guide us with what types of photos we wanted taken. During the wedding, we did a first look and really got great shots before guests even arrived. We can not WAIT to get the rest of the pictures.

They coordinated directly with our venue and MC to ensure that everything ran perfectly, without us ever having to worry! In fact, when I began to get a bit nervous and overwhelmed the morning of, Anya took me away from the group to take some portrait shots and catch my breath. Honestly, our day would not have been nearly what it was without Jimmy and Anya, and we have (and will continue to) recommend them to everyone we know. Engagement photos came out beautiful, and it gave us a chance to get to know them, and it helped us as a couple become comfortable in front of the camera before our wedding day. On the day of our wedding Anya was pregnant, and ready to deliver any week. They had a plan in place and hired a third photographer as back up if she went into labor before or during the wedding!! On our wedding day they truly captured all the special moments between my husband and I. The pictures from our wedding were breath taking, and I loved all the candid pictures of our guests enjoying themselves. I would highly recommend them, you can tell they have passion and truly love what they do and it shows i their work.

icking a date for our engagement photos, to finding Christmas lights in November to create the perfect save the date picture that I envisioned, to helping us plan every detail of our wedding day so the actual day would go without a hitch, Jimmy and Anya went above and beyond for us. On our actual wedding day, the strap of my dress broke right before I was entering the church, Anya was right there for me and had the necessary tools with her to fix my dress. From 2pm (getting ready) until the end of the night, the Prudente's were present every time I turned around capturing every moment I would of wanted a picture of. My husband and I, our family and friends are blown away at our wedding pictures but are not at all surprised how amazing they are. I recommend the Prudente's to any couple planning a wedding and could not of imagined working with anyone else after this wonderful experience and amazing pictures to last a lifetime.

ryone just raved about our photos (both engagement and wedding), including serious photographer friends. Advice to prospective brides: when shopping for a photographer, make sure you ask to see full wedding samples (i.e. complete collection of photos from a wedding). Every photographer will be able to put a few nice photos on their website. But you can really tell the true quality of a photographer by seeing a sample full wedding collection and comparing this against others. Before we hired Jimmy and Anya, we were choosing between a few photographers, but after seeing full wedding samples, it was clear that Jimmy and Anya were in a league by themselves. All the photos they delivered are edited and enhanced, and the photo quality, angles, and style was just amazing! Some other thoughts: - We had a very dim, low-light venue-- a huge ballroom. We were originally very concerned about the lighting, especially after seeing photos from previous weddings. We showed Jimmy and Anya photos of the venue, and on the wedding day they went out of their way to bring in super fancy flash lighting equipment. The photos turned out amazing!! Far better than any other photos we've seen of this venue. There was no lighting issue whatsoever and everything was SO clear and just gorgeous. I think this really showcases both their supreme technical expertise in photography and dedication to producing the best quality photographs. - If you've never done professional photos before, Jimmy and Anya will put you at ease and drive the entire process so you don't need to think. They'll tell you what to do, think up great locations/angles. It's really great. Some groomsmen mentioned "I love that they tell us what to do!" - Jimmy and Anya shoot as a duo. So you get two really top photographers. They work really well together and on the wedding day they basically coordinated the entire logistics of the getting ready and first look. For the groomsmen, Jimmy also helped with every aspect of getting ready-- showing them how to tie bowties, how to fold a pocketsquare (he folded all the pocketsquares! The groomsmen were huge fans) - They do whatever it takes to do a really great job; you never feel rushed. You feel they really care! This is not just a job for them, it's a passion. They were there from the very beginning to the very end. They are true artists. They just have a lot of creativity and artistic sense. - They have a REALLY cute dog - They are just really fun, easygoing, great people to work with. They got along really well with the wedding coordinator and venue coordinators, and our friends and family couldn't stop raving about how awesome they are just by observing them in action and seeing the photos. Several single friends already mentioned they will definitely want Jimmy and Anya for their weddings. Overall, Jimmy and Anya are simply THE BEST. Highly highly highly recommended them. This was absolutely the best vendor decision we made!!!

We could not stop laughing throughout the whole session. They have an eye to create the most exquisite and unique shots.
