Owner Claudia Matthews and Chief of Operations Jamie Cooke fell in love at first sight with this property and are thrilled to share its magic with you on your big day. They have a number of options for serene indoor or outdoor ceremonies and receptions that are sure to provide an unforgettable ambience.
From sunrise to sunset, the ever-changing landscape at Puesta Del Sol Farm makes for a beautiful day of celebration. You may choose to begin your day on the property in their relaxing get-ready rooms, completing final preparations surrounded by your nearest and dearest. Once it's time to walk down the aisle, you have multiple options to choose from. The Arbor by the Pond can accommodate up to 200 guests and features the tranquil backdrop of rolling fields and mountains. Another outdoor ceremony space is Sunset Overlook. This outdoor setting is complete with a cast-iron trellis and a stone pathway. It's suitable for saying "I do" in front of up to 50 guests. If you choose to host a cocktail hour, the Courtyard is an ideal place to do so. Its gorgeous patio is surrounded by greenery and soaked in sunlight throughout the day. Larger receptions can be held in The Barn, which has a capacity of up to 200. Other spaces throughout the property include their private wine cellar and an antique greenhouse.
Puesta Del Sol Farm offers a variety of packages to best suit the needs of your wedding or other event. These packages can include access to the farm from 9am to 11pm, as well as 4 hours on the day prior to your event for setup or photoshoots. On-site parking is available with a cart shuttle service for those that require additional assistance. This venue can provide a list of preferred local vendors who are familiar with working on the premises.

it the venue two times during this past year prior to our wedding with Claudia. Claudia was so helpful and communicative to us in the months leading up to our wedding, always available over text and email.
Come wedding, Claudia was available to help us set up during the day before with furniture and our decorations. She has a nice inventory which helped to supplement the decorations we already had (e.g. stands, candle holders, flower holders, etc.) There was a massive storm that blew through day before, and Claudia helped us protect all our things and hold down the fort!
On our wedding day, Claudia and her staff were instrumental in helping us the final things for our day. They helped with every problem that arose. Bridesmaids got ready in the beautiful house on the property day of and groomsmen had access to the cabin. We had a staff member helped guests all day on the golf cart get up to the parking lot and to the spots on the property.
Something I LOVED about the venue was the variety of spaces and activities available. Our guests raved about the firepit and swing, as well as the cocktail hour space and reception pavillion gave guests lots of room to spread out and enjoy the landscape. We had a perfect, beautiful day, and were so thankful to Claudia and her team. I give Puesta Del Sol Farm my highest recommendation!

ly make you feel at home. There are so many beautiful natural backdrops you can take advantage of. at the venue, it’s a photographer’s dream. The farm is just far enough from the Northern Virginia/DC area, it qualifies as a destination, but near enough, your guests can be home in just over an hour. We highly recommend this beautiful venue for your next event, wedding or shower.
