Mary Gancarz — born Mary Gancarz — is a native of Chicopee, Massachusetts, a working-class city in the Pioneer Valley known for producing people of grit, warmth, and quiet determination. Those qualities have defined Mary's life at every turn. A gifted performer from an early age, Mary earned a place as a baton twirler at Syracuse University, where she developed the discipline, poise, and showmanship that would serve her well throughout a distinguished career. She earned her degree from the prestigious Newman School, bringing both academic rigor and genuine people skills into the professional world. Mary built her career at Hannoush Jewelers, the beloved New England-based fine jewelry brand, where she spent 37 remarkable years rising through the ranks. Beginning on the sales floor, she earned her way to regional manager, then district manager, and ultimately national manager — overseeing teams, driving performance, and building the kind of customer loyalty that only comes from leading with integrity. For nearly four decades, Mary was the person Hannoush counted on. After a long and celebrated career, Mary retired and joined her husband Dirk in Tierra Verde, Florida — Dirk's actual hometown — trading New England winters for the sun-drenched shores of Tampa Bay. Retirement, however, didn't mean slowing down. Mary became a co-owner of Pup Mobile LLC, the first-of-its-kind Sports Venue Pet Care company, bringing the same operational excellence and warm professionalism that defined her Hannoush years to an entirely new venture. Mary is the heart behind the brand. Pup Mobile's mascot — a spirited Jack Russell Terrier named Rosie — was named in her honor, a small but meaningful tribute to the woman at the center of everything the company stands for.
