we had a lot of questions. My mom has seen her friends in their daughter’s weddings look like completely different people and didn’t want to look like that. We set up a trial for my mom and she was very impressed! Melissa made her feel so comfortable and talked her through options that gave her the full photographer effect without looking overdone. I also have a lot of skin issues and Melissa was able to work with me by testing a small section of airbrush on me at my mom’s trial and using products that were familiar to me. They made recommendations on what lipstick to use as well as hair products to make my hair less frizzy and dull. She even recommended a brow lady for my mom, months after our wedding day. My trial went great, and after a full day of wearing the hair and makeup I thought of a few things that I wanted to change for the wedding day (more volume, more filled in brows). I texted Melissa and Steph the information the next day and they remembered for the day of. They discussed with us how much space they will need the day of so that we were fully prepared and sent me an email with all prices and information for my bridesmaids. When the actual wedding day came, everyone came on time and everything was so organized that we even had relaxing time before we had to leave for the venue. My mom and all my bridesmaids were so happy with the results and everything stayed well throughout the long day! I couldn’t even feel the fake eyelashes and they were the perfect size for my eyes to make them pop without being unnatural looking! Hair and makeup was the first part of the wedding day and Melissa made sure that I was set up for a smooth, stress free day. I am so grateful to have had everything work out so amazing. Melissa is a very knowledgable professional and made everyone feel very comfortable and beautiful in ways we could never have achieved ourselves. I would definitely recommend her for hair and makeup needs!

and hair stylist I found that many do not offer trials (which frustrated me) - however Melissa encouraged me to come for a trial to see if we were a match! Melissa, Sue and their team brought such great energy the morning of the wedding and made all of us feel and look literally amazing.
I am someone who wears minimal makeup and wanted to look like “an enhanced” version of myself on my wedding day. I am not afraid of makeup but just do not apply it myself. Melissa listened to all of my requests and truly blew me away. I fully trusted her expertise - she is extremely talented and above all else such a wonderful person. I felt so comfortable in her chair and she made sure to include me throughout the process to make sure I felt good about what she was applying. The way Melissa applied the makeup enhanced all of my features and the airbrush made my skin look soft and sun kissed. It was the perfect mix of clean and elegant.
I felt absolutely beautiful and was picture perfect at every moment. My makeup stayed on all night and I got SO many compliments from guests.
Throughout the planning phase, selecting a hair and makeup team was a big stressor for me, but the second I met Melissa and Sue that immediately went away. The fact that I knew that I was going LOVE what I looked like on the wedding day took away SO much stress. All of the artists/stylists at Pure Bridal Beauty are incredible (and so much fun to be around)! I can’t recommend them enough!!

I never wear makeup, so I wanted to look polished but natural and still like myself. I was also anxious about the false eyelashes because I like they way they look, but they often feel so uncomfortable for me. I talked to Melissa about my concerns, we tried some things at the trial, and on the day of she totally nailed it! The eyelashes looked great and didn’t bother me at all, and my makeup overall was just beautiful. Melissa also did my mom’s makeup (the first time she’s ever had her makeup professionally done!), and my mom has red hair and freckles but Melissa did a great job matching her complexion so she still looked natural and felt comfortable. Renée is flawless with her technique, she pays attention to detail- she also does not just do her own thing and not listen to your requests- you can show her an inspo picture- and she will still be thorough and ask you down to specifics “what is your skin like? do you like more of a matte or dewy look? How do you typically like your brows?” And if you don’t have an answer- she uses her best judgment and absolutely kills the makeup game. She is so incredibly sweet, caring, and will fix something right away if you are not fond of it. She wants you to love every single piece and she will not disappoint. I’d also like to add I was worried a few months ago because I wanted to go in a different direction for my makeup artist and I was referred to Renée by my hair stylist and not only did she squeeze me in to her schedule- she made me feel like I was so important and consistently answered any questions I had leading up to the big day! She is truly such a skilled and incredibly amazing makeup artist and I would refer her to everyone. I had two trials with them - the second was to test my look out with the extensions. At my first trial I tried two different styles and really appreciated Sue's to the point "nope this isn't it!" on a style I THOUGHT i wanted. I fully trusted them and their advice.
On the wedding day they executed my look perfectly. I truly couldn't have asked for anything more. I felt so glammed up but also like myself at the same time. I hired Melissa and Sue to stay with me for the entire day and I am so glad I did. It was unexpectedly 90 degrees that day and I never once felt panicked about my hair or makeup getting ruined because they were there for touch ups. They also fanned me and helped air my dress out when I got overheated - they do it all! 😂
I kept my bridal party small to keep the wedding day vibe calm and my nerves at a minimum and they were the perfect accompaniment of that. They both have the best energy and I'm truly happy that my wedding day memories will include them.

e room to their liking and then got to work. They were a well oiled machine and made sure all of my girls felt special and had everything done to their liking.
Melissa was so great leading up to my day, answering any questions I had regarding set up, timeline, and what lipstick to get for touchups. She was so sweet throughout the whole process to make sure the day went smoothly.
Steph was so knowledgable about hair and made my dream hair come true. She gave great suggestions for where to get my extensions. She also made sure everyone got a one over touch up before heading out so all of our curls were fresh.
This is an amazing team, I would get married all over again just so they can do my hair and makeup

elissa and Sue are the best. I did two trials for my hair because I wasn’t sure which way I wanted to go (up or down) and Sue was there to walk me through the process. I don’t wear a lot of make up – I am a mascara and chapstick kind of girl – Melissa listened to me and helped me peak out of comfort zone and I never felt more gorgeous. I was also scared to get my make up done (bad experience) and wow Melissa took my fear and flipped it around. Time line – listen to their time line – they know what they’re talking about!!! I am a late sleeper – Melissa said 8am start so that we could be done as soon as the photographer got there and she was right on the money. I would recommend pure bridal beauty to everyone. They are truly the best out there.

ing the trial, she did exactly what I wanted and offered her own suggestions without being aggressive (which is what I experienced with some other artists). I told her about my experience with another artist who insisted she knew what I should look like and did everything the opposite of what I asked. Mel listened to exactly what I wanted and took the pictures I showed her into account. I was so in love with my trial look that I booked her right away for my two big wedding events.
Both days she made me and my mom so comfortable and made us both look and feel amazing. She’s reliable, punctual, and professional. She’s versatile and can do subtle as well as dramatic looks. She’s just amazing.

When I got engaged Sue became my go-to hair girl. All of my weddings 😉, engagement session, and bridal shower - she was my girl on call ready to do something with this mop on my head. I have been telling everyone that will listen that since my wedding day was 100 degrees with 100% humidity having Sue stay until the end of cocktail hour was THE smartest thing I ever did for our wedding. She not only touched up my curls throughout the day but any bridesmaids or parents that needed a little love after sweating in the heat. She even changed my hair style during cocktail hour for a cool reception look, as well as my Mom and MOH. She took some amazing behind the scenes shots and was just a familiar face / support system throughout the whole day. I can go on and on about my love for Sue but honestly there aren't enough words. Forever grateful for her and her talent!!!

sincere. She was amazingly flexible with my changing dates, multiple trials and even a last minute add on for bridesmaid makeup!
I did two trials because I went from a fall wedding to a summer wedding so I wanted a slightly different look. I should mention here that I have combination skin that gets super greasy after a few hours and I wear barely any face make up regularly. I loved my trial but by the end of the day was face was super greasy. I chatted with Melissa that night and she assured me she would mix things up and that would not happen on wedding day. And let me tell you…. She worked some serious magic and My make up looked incredible and was glued to my face. I got married on a humid 90+ degree day, I sweat from the minute I walked outside my house at 12pm until we are done dancing at 12am and my make up stayed the entire night.
Also, the other MUAs (Renee & Kristi) she brought were incredible as well. They were all so sweet and everyone looked amazing!
Lastly, my bridal party was massive. They did 15 people for make up and everything ran unbelievably smooth and we were done with plenty of time to spare. Seriously, They are wonderful, Melissa is a gem and you cannot go wrong with choosing pure bridal beauty on your big day! 💕

Me it is the best they ever had (all of them having been bridesmaids in other weddings or brides of their own). Not only are Melissa and Sue absolutely amazing at what they do, they are also exactly who you want to start your day with. They’re both so kind and easy to get along with and were laughing and having fun with all of us all morning. Not to mention theyre the best hype queens and made us all feel like rockstars. Not once did I feel stressed or rushed and I attribute that to the atmosphere they created from the get go. Not to mention I had 12 females plus myself who were getting hair and make up. After having trusted them on the most important day of my life I promise you I am going to find excuses to book them again just to feel like a beauty queen.
