Owner and baker Mario Figueroa opened Pure Cakery in 2020. Mario's passion for baking began in high school, where he would bake tasty treats for friends, testing out recipes on them. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Hospitality Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University and worked at Mariott before starting his own business.
