There was almost not enough room, he just kept playing great songs. Ruben totally read the room, and really played off of everyone's energy. I really appreciated him saying he was also interviewing us as much as we were interviewing him. He expressed he sometimes recommends not to move forward if he doesn't feel he'll be a good fit as a DJ for an event. This speaks volumes! He kept an open line of communication on the months that followed in case we needed him for any suggestions/questions (via text, email, call) and was always prompt to reply. Day-of at the wedding he nailed the overall theme/genres we asked for and there were ZERO mishaps during the special songs. He definitely kept us all dancing and also graciously agreed to stay an extra 30 min at the end of the night when we decided to extend the party! Don't hesitate to hire Ruben for your next event!

On the day of the wedding we had absolutely zero issues with Ruben and his team, which is a WONDERFUL gift on your wedding day. Everything went so smoothly from the ceremony to transitioning to the reception. He worked so well with our wedding coordinator and helped to keep things on-time. Our guests were dancing all night long, and the next day we heard so many times that our wedding was the most fun they'd ever been to, and so much of that had to do with Ruben and the awesome music he played!
