They have a very straightforward and easy to use portal for communication directly with the DJ! The DJ went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was a super fun experience.

Michael and his team were great. They made sure everything ran smoothly, gave great advice along the way, and were perfectly professional. Our guests had an amazing time on the dance floor.

We just had our wedding on September 21st and their service was stellar. They provided the dj and we felt he did a really good job tailoring the playlist. They were responsive to my needs and extremely detail-oriented. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

A Disappointing DJ Experience at My Wedding Mags was the DJ for my wedding, and while he was a nice person, his performance as a DJ left much to be desired. My concerns began during our initial phone conversation, which lasted an hour and a half. During the call, Mags repeated himself frequently and didn't seem to listen to what I was saying. I made every effort to communicate clearly with both Mags and the company, Pure Sounds Production. I provided a detailed document outlining my preferences, which included a mix of line dances, pop songs, and slow songs, along with a list of my favorite tracks. However, just two days before the wedding, Mags texted me asking for the intro song, despite it being included in a previous email. I had to resend the information. On the day of the wedding, things went further downhill. The wrong exit song was played during the ceremony, even though the correct one was clearly listed in my document. Mags also asked me, and later my husband, about the intro song on the day of the wedding, right before we were supposed to make our entrance. During the reception, Mags started playing music that I didn't enjoy. I asked him to choose from the list I provided, but instead of mixing in pop songs as we had discussed, he just went down the list, resulting in mostly country music, which was not what I wanted. A Blackpink song that I specifically requested was also never played. The only other slow song that was played was "Tennessee Whiskey," which left me disappointed. Mags also forgot to announce the party favors, despite this being included in both my email and the document I provided. The send-off was chaotic as well, which could have been avoided with better communication from the DJ to the guests. I know Mags did his best, but unfortunately, I cannot recommend him or Pure Sounds Production to anyone.

Mag with Pure Sounds Productions is the best! Thanks to him we threw the best party and the dance floor was full the entire night! He was flexible with us for some unique requests and ensured that our day was exactly how we envisioned it! Thank you Mag!

What really impressed us was his flexibility and quick thinking during the reception. When we decided to add a bouquet toss during the reception, Michael was immediately on board and had several fantastic song recommendations for me to chose from! He did a great job keeping our guests on the dance floor, and many specifically commented on how great the music was and how much fun they had dancing! He exceeded our expectations in every way possible and played a significant role in making our celebration truly special. We wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ who not only delivers on their promises but goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable wedding (or any other event!).

Working with Pure sound productions and Michael was amazing! His website makes everything very organized and easy when your head is spinning about all the things you need to accomplish! He is a little More expensive than some of the other vendors, but you get TOP notch service all around. I didn’t know this, but once the wedding day came, he was there for everything. I almost felt like I had another wedding coordinator because he was on top of everything and I felt really comfortable my ceremony and reception were in good hands! DJ Mag did an excellent job of creating a fun and inviting atmosphere for our guests during our wedding. He was great at communicating in the weeks leading up to our wedding and on the wedding day. He worked with us on playing songs we personally chose and loved as well as adding his own twist that brought everything together and got people on the dance floor. He also did an incredible job at handling last minute changes. We had so many guests coming up to us during the reception and even after the wedding telling us that we had a fantastic DJ. Pure Sound Productions is AWESOME! Michael was super easy to work with from the first call and really made us feel important throughout our wedding. He was able to curate a playlist that kept everyone excited through the evening and we didn’t have to worry about what song was coming next, we just knew it’d fit in and everyone would like it. On top of being a fantastic DJ, Michael stepped up and helped keep us pointed the right direction during the chaos of our wedding, checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and giving us heads up every time something was about to happen. I would absolutely use PSP again if I ever had another wedding (but I hope I don’t). 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Michael and Pure Sounds Productions were an excellent fit for our wedding. We'd interviewed another DJ but ended up choosing Pure Sounds because they seemed professional, organized and trustworthy and they absolutely lived up to that impression. We wanted to get to spend the night dancing with our guests and Michael got everyone on the dance floor, even our family that we didn't expect to dance with us. We used his planning software before the event to choose some songs that we wanted to hear (& ones we didn't) and were super happy with what he played and had many guests tell us that they loved dancing the night away.

Michael was a really great guy to work with, he was always professional and gave a lot of good advice when I wasn't sure what to do. At our wedding, he was never the center of attention or adding unnecessary announcements. When he did make an announcement, he had a great personality and had grace when people weren't really listening to him. He always kept in touch with me when we were going to be running late on something or on what to expect next in the night. He also asked for permission on a couple requests that he didn't know which was really nice. The music was so much fun and I liked how he transitioned each song into the next so there wasn't a lull or awkward silence ever!! And he let each song fully play which I appreciated greatly. DJs are scary to book without experiencing beforehand but Michael was the best we could have asked for :) - Lexi & Nick

So fun! We hired Michael to DJ our wedding and he was such an amazing choice. Not only was he extremely kind, well-dressed, and a great MC, he also cooperated with us very well when we told him that we had a specific vision for our music. The planning tools and meetings leading up to the wedding were top-notch and helped tremendously with planning the cadence of our special day. He listened and took everything we needed to heart, which ended with the most epic dance party ever! Michael is a class act!

PureSounds provided us with a wonderful service, their online portal was easy to use and add songs to, our DJ Kate was very nice and helpful, and most importantly was very communicative during the night of and helped the evening move smoothly. They were able to play our special request songs and made sure every song we really wanted to hear was played!

Without a doubt the best vendor from our wedding. Michael made everything seamless - from the ceremony all the way through the night and dancing. He read the crowd perfectly with the music he played, yet he faded to the background easily and focused all attention on the bride and groom. He thought of everything so that we did not have to. Michael was fantastic! We got so much positive feedback during and after our wedding. The music choices were perfect, he kept the floor packed, and communicated with us throughout the night. He checked in to make sure we were happy, and to see if there were any songs we wanted to throw in during the reception (including when my husband just NEEDED to sing Mulan with his friends!). Music can make or break your reception. Mag did an amazing job at reading the room and making sure our guests danced the entire time. Our only complaint is that the audio for our first dance song sounded very crackly and more difficult to hear compared to every other song. Overall, highly recommend!

Pure Sounds Productions was fantastic at our wedding! It was so easy to plan our music using his site and I felt like I could use any music I wanted. He was also incredibly accommodating for the father-daughter dance. We had a custom request and he had no issue helping it become a reality. Our ceremony was beautiful and the dance floor was rocking the whole night and everyone had an incredible time.

PSPDJ (Michael Claymore) is the DJ of your DREAMS. He had very detailed forms about what we wanted played and when and prepared back-up music. We had SO many compliments on the playlist the next day and had everyone on the dance floor right up until closing time. He also supported us through every step of the wedding day, letting us know timelines and where to sit and when to enter, and even adjusted last minute to the needs of my bridesmaids with their grand entrance. Half DJ and half day of coordinator, we can’t recommend Michael highly enough!!

We had Michael as our DJ for our wedding and he was amazing! He brought so much fun energy to the event and played songs that guests of all ages loved. Before the wedding, we were given a guest portal to add songs we hope to hear, don’t want to hear, and songs for certain moments of the day. Then, we met with Michael before the wedding to go over those songs and talk through our day; all of this before work really led to a night where every song was spot-on. Michael even made a custom speech to go with our Star Trek reception entrance because he was so excited; we were so touched by this and loved every second of that entrance! We would highly recommend Michael to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding. He is truly a professional and he will make sure your event is one to remember.

We had an excellent experience working with Sam at Pure Sounds Productions for our wedding! Sam was perfect during the planning process, making sure to ask the right questions to get our preferred style of music correct. He took great care to make sure he’d have the vibe correct all night. And on the day of the wedding, that’s exactly what happened. Everyone enjoyed the music, and our dance floor was PACKED at the end of the night thanks to Sam’s great intuition on what music to play that everyone in that crowd would enjoy. Michael was amazing for our wedding in Estes Park! He was extremely sophisticated, not pushy with dancing and not overly dramatic. He did a great job at corraling us on our music taste and timeline for the day. He was also extremely flexible as plans changed. We used him for both ceremony and reception, which were at different sites. He did a great job setting up for both and all of the equipment worked perfectly. He played all the requested songs and successfully avoided some songs. The transitions between songs were flawless and kept the energy going. He was also very communicative with other event staff and folks who needed microphones throughout the day. All of our guests had such a grat time at the wedding, largely attributable to Michal's hard work.

Sam was amazing at our wedding. He came in, would give us an overview if the next couple of steps (you will be entering, saying your welcome, come down the stairs toward me) and made sure the night went off perfectly. The transitions between songs at our wedding was amazing as well. The music wasn't too loud or too soft and he took requests perfectly. For any iffy ones, we had a plan before the wedding (like the chicken dance) and for the one day of request he checked with us before giving us the run down of the next part of the wedding. The online portal was also very easy to use to put in songs that must be played, that we liked to have played (which all of them were) and any requests that wasn't in the song bank. Great job!

Everyone from Pure Sounds was extremely professional. They did an incredible job with communication and their online song catalog is really easy to use. Our meeting with Sam went really well. He was very knowledgeable about the places to put songs, etc...Sam came down with covid and Kate filled in for him. She also was professional. We felt a bit disappointed with the how many songs we picked and how many were played. I feel if she had cut the songs sooner we would have had more that we requested. We also thought the plan was to go straight down the requested list and that didn't happen either. The volume was also a bit low for reception dancing. All in all a good company and well organized but a bit disappointed with the turn out.

I cannot say enough how relieved I am that we chose Michael as the DJ for our wedding! From the very beginning, he was an enjoyable person to communicate with, and his planning website was easy and available right up to a few days before the wedding. It included not only an easy portal to make our requests, but also several lists for niche songs like cake cutting and the bouquet toss. I particularly appreciated this, as my husband and I couldn't decide on several of our songs with so many other details demanding our attention! Michael listened to our concerns regarding toasts and guests' roles in the wedding, and incorporated songs we loved but thought too difficult to include. My favorite was the piano arrangement of the Star Trek: Voyager theme, which he looped PERFECTLY to play during our processional! He had an excellent personality both on and off the mic, and worked well with the venue and other vendors to ensure we were able to thoroughly enjoy the day we'd been planning for over a year!

He was on top of everything and made us feel at ease with everything he was responsible for at our wedding, he was also much more affordable than some of the other DJs we had looked into so definitely worth the investment! The portal that PSP uses for your timeline and music requests is also great and so easy to use. I would absolutely recommend Michael and PSP!

We LOVE DJ Michael!! We live in London and had our wedding in Estes Park, Colorado at Della Terra Mountain Chateau. He was phenomenal at communication with the 7-hour time difference. We felt like he truly listened to us with our wants and needs. He played a 15-min "garage hour" for my now husband which was a hit for our British guests! He was a fun DJ, not obnoxious at all and super communicative on the day. He played an awesome set and we couldn't recommend him more! THANK YOU MICHAEL, YOU'RE A GEM!
