Purple Sage Catering

Let me start by saying that all the food served at my reception was delicious. David prepared a wonderful menu and everyone thought it was delicious. I would warn though if you are working with Purple Sage to make sure you stay on top of him and get everything in writing. He was ill-prepared to deal with our reception even though was had less than 30 people attending. He showed up late! He did get things running shortly afterward (we were expecting hors d'ourves at 4:30 but it was after 5 before we got them) perhaps the only people that noticed were me and my husband, but you should not stress a bride on her wedding day! Also, he told us his "pastry chef" had prepared something great for our cake but he never even gave it a trial run until our actual reception had started. His wife ended up decorating them during the reception and they did not look great. I would recommend David for the great taste of his food, but make sure you have someone to babysit him leading up the reception so you can have a stress free day.

The food at our reception was outstanding and just what we wanted. 5+ stars and reasonably priced. I absolutely recommend Purple Sage!

Purple Sage Catering did an amazing job at our reception. Too many times I have been to weddings with sub par food in a line of ugly chafing dishes. Purple Sage's food choices were not only delicious, but they displayed them with amazing design and attention to detail. They made sure their food tables fit in with the theme of my wedding. I would recommend them to anyone looking to make their reception special!
