lly answered all of my nervous bride questions and helped create a great schedule. There was pouring rain the morning of our wedding and when I arrived at the venue (stressed out), Emily had already created plans with the photographers/DJ about how we could move pieces indoors if necessary. Thankfully the rain passed and we got to have an outdoor ceremony and photos on the beautiful grounds before enjoying delicious food (we got a ton of feedback from guests that they were blown away). I would highlight recommend the Purpoodock, everything was reasonably priced, staff took all the stress out of planning and the space was beautifully decorated!

last minute requests. We had a pretty strict schedule and she kept us on time throughout the whole day which I really appreciated. We ended up going with an open bar that would become a cash bar after a certain dollar limit. It was awesome to have the bar staff track for us and she warned us as we were getting close to the limit. I highly recommend working with Purpoodock. Their prices for food and venue fees were very reasonable especially given that it was summer in Maine and a popular time to get married.

de on their expansive outdoor deck and it was a treat to have it at sunset as well. The food was exceptional and people were talking about it days after. People wanted to take the stuffed ravioli in a to-go box. We cannot say enough about Emily, the events coordinator, who was so willing to help and support us through every minor and major detail we threw at her. The staff was warm and always there whenever you needed something. They worked well with outside vendors and handled the set up with all of our decorations and centerpieces. We didn't have to worry about anything! Cannot recommend them enough! If we would had to do this over again, we would choose them again in a heartbeat!

e deck - but we could use the deck as well! They were very professional and extremely helpful with everything. Our wedding planner - Heather - was amazing. She helped us with every single detail. Our wedding was actually supposed to be held at a venue in Old Orchard Beach. THEN that venue suddenly closed! So you can imagine my stress in trying to find a new venue! Luckily we contacted Heather and she worked with us to get our date secured there (luckily that had it available!) and she helped us through everything knowing that we had already had a stressful start to wedding planning! The day itself was perfect. The room was decorated amazingly, the tables were beautiful, and the experience was beyond words! I want to thank Heather and everyone at the Purpoodock for helping us make our wedding day the best day ever!!!

our first meeting with Heather, the event coordinator, to our wedding day, everything was perfect. I must have emailed Heather dozens and dozens of times, and she way always so quick to respond and help. She made sure every single detail was taken care of and never missed a thing. I didn't have to worry about anything on our wedding day - her and the entire staff had everything organized perfectly. Heather coordinated with all of our vendors directly to ensure the day ran smoothly. She set up all of our decor, flowers, etc for the day and brought us food and drinks to enjoy before we went into our reception. She put so much thought into everything and made sure we were completely enjoying our day. The food was amazing, the bartender had wonderful customer service and made delicious drinks, and the staff was always around to help and make sure everything was running on time. Our guests are still talking about the beautiful venue, and how delicious the food was. The day was simply perfect. Purpoodock Club has incredibly fair prices for the quality and services they offer, fantastic catering, and amazing staff. We were so lucky to have found this venue and I would highly highly recommend!

everything PERFECTLY! The venue is great for our wedding. We had a total of 115 guests; the room can hold 150 if I remember correctly. There is a great wrap around deck with great views of the golf course and foliage. There is a bridal sweet down stairs as well. As soon as my girls and I arrived, Heather brought us to the bridal sweet. Drink orders were taken and some hors d'oeuvres were brought down. The food selection is great and everything I tried at the tasting was amazing! What we chose: The hors d'oeuvre: bacon wrapped scallops, spanikopita, spring rolls, and sausage stuffed mushrooms. We went with a plated dinner. The options: apple corn bread stuffed pork chop, broiled haddock, and vegetable pasta penne. Everything was great. It was a GREAT experience! I would definitely recommended the Purpoodock Club.

remony and reception. Their knowledge of the wedding planning process guided us from start to finish. The food was extremely tasteful and the additional options completed the meal. The pricing for the venue was very competitive with other venues in the Southern Maine area. Robin's directions during our ceremony were perfectly timed for us to pull of the perfect wedding! I would highly recommend Purpoodock Club for any function.
