We loved having Rev. Melissa Bertoch be our officiant! She made our ceremony fun and lighthearted but also romantic and heartfelt. We also did the premarital counseling session with her over video which was a great way to start important conversations and learn how to work better as a couple. She is professional, warm and knowledgeable, and we cannot recommend her enough!

If you’re looking for someone to officiate your wedding, seriously look no further. Melissa exceeded my expectations. She is so friendly and knows how to make your special day a memorable one. I absolutely cherish the wedding ceremony that Melissa officiated for us. I am so glad that we decided to hire a caring professional to help us with the most important part of the wedding day—the actual ceremony. We wanted a ceremony that felt like ‘us’, but we didn’t know where to start. Melissa talked with us for 2-3 hours to get to know as a couple and understand how we viewed marriage and the commitment that we were making to each other. After our conversations, she crafted several ceremony options that resonated with us and we were able to make it completely our own with a couple tweaks. I appreciated her advice and organization throughout the whole process from vow writing, ceremony transitions, where to look, preparing our vows on printed cards, etc. During the actual ceremony, she was warm and funny while still obviously sincere about the institution of marriage—which is exactly what we wanted! Our family and friends all loved her and thought we had known her for a long time! She really cares about her couples and works hard to make the ceremony perfect for you. We can’t thank Melissa enough!

Words cannot express how lucky and grateful we are to have had Melissa officiate our wedding. From the moment I reached out to months after the wedding, Melissa has been so helpful and kind! Melissa is very responsive, punctual and just a pleasure to work with. If you are looking for someone who is invested in you and your significant other, Melissa is the person for you ! She took her time to get know me and my husband and she genuinely cared about everything we had to say. One of my favorite things about working with Melissa were the sweet emails and postcards she sends out. She knows how stressful of a time weddings can be and she truly did her best (and succeeded) to provide some calm in the storm. We honestly couldn't have found a better officiant. We were so blessed to have Melissa as a part of our big day!

We first met Melissa "virtually" and felt an instant connection which can be difficult through technology. During our second meeting, she took time to get to know us on a deeper level. We very much enjoyed the dialog as she took pages of notes that she ultimately would use to craft the most amazing wedding ceremony that truly was unique to us, our relationship and our love story. The experience was so positive that we also took advantage of the Prepare/Enrich program two weeks before our wedding. During what could be called a "pre-marital counseling session" my finance and I got an opportunity to better understand each other on a whole new level. Melissa provide so much value to the entire experience! We left every interaction feeling completely confident in having her officiate our special day. Melisa is so much more than just a wedding officiant with a file cabinet full of rehearsed ceremonies, she is a true relationship professional!

We did premarital coaching with Melissa, and she officiated our wedding. She was so professional and personable! We loved getting to know her through coaching, and she made our ceremony so special because she knew us so well from coaching! All our guests were raving about how amazing she was. She taught us insights like looking at each other during the ceremony instead of her so our photos turned out perfect. She printed our vow cards and brought them day, and made everything so flawless! I could rave all day about how wonderful she is! Trust me there is no one better out there!

Melissa was a fantastic choice for our ceremony! She made the process so simple and took extra care to respect our wishes and customize everything to our style. She was very friendly and even went the extra mile to provide vow keepsakes and file our marriage certificate for us! I was nervous about being married by a stranger, but Melissa honestly didn't feel like a stranger. She made us so comfortable that our ceremony was relaxed and beautiful. I highly recommend her!

Words cannot describe how Melissa created our wedding in a meaningful way. Never having met her before, she took the time to get to know us. Our one-on-one session before the wedding gave Melissa the eloquent words to create our ceremony. She thoughtfully arranged the service to reflect our relationship and express our gratitude for each other. Quite frankly, we wouldn't recommend anyone besides Melissa to lead a wedding ceremony. She was great at communicating and kept us up-to-date with what we needed to do on our part. She travelled over two hours to our wedding location in the dead of winter. LGBT-friendly.

We had really small and intimate wedding during Covid-19. Melissa did a phenomenal job. We had initial video conference with her and she asked us various questions to really get to know us. I felt the ceremony was very personable and specific to us. She gave us a lots of options when writing our ceremony scripts and our vows. And she communicated with us throughout the whole process. I love working with Melissa and it felt like working with old friend. Thank you Melissa for wonderful wedding ceremony. I would recommended Melissa.

Melissa was amazing! We found her two weeks before our wedding totally unsure of what we needed, just knowing we needed someone to marry us. We clicked with her immediately and booked her on the spot! She made the entire process so easy, from the initial consultation through to getting our marriage license paperwork completed and sending it off to the county clerk's office for us! The most important part - the ceremony -was perfect! She had just the right tone, kept it short & sweet (just like we asked for) and I got so many compliments from my family on what a wonderful job she did! Melissa made the ceremony feel personal and truly special!! I would recommend her in a heartbeat!!!!

Mel was amazing!!!! The way she meets with clients to make sure it's a good fit, the work she puts into making your ceremony about you and your special story, and the ways she pours herself into her work makes her the best. We could not have been any happier. We loved Mel from the first meeting and she totally understood us and what we wanted. She made our special day even more special. We wanted something unique, nontraditional, and with a unique unity ceremony, and Mel was able to create this for us.

We loved working with Melissa! She was great and communicated with us throughout the whole process. We had a couple video conferences with her and she asked us so many questions to really get to know who we are. Plus she had everything outlined and even sent us drafts so we could see how it would look. She is so warm and friendly too.

I honestly thought that finding an officiant would be the hardest thing ever. Neither my spouse or myself are religious and we had a pretty strict idea of what we wanted. Working with Melissa was the BEST. The first time we met, we clicked SO well! We met one more time so she could get to know us more, and she could personalize our ceremony to us. She sent us options for every aspect of the ceremony and had us pick our favorites. She even prewrote some vow options (everyone thought we wrote our own and were so impressed lol!) She followed up and has been so reliable. I'm so glad that I was able to find her.

Melissa was helpful during the whole process. From the first time we met with her, down to the day of our wedding. She was on time(early actually) very professional, nice and a down to earth person. She gave us a ton of options when writing our ceremony scripts, which helped us alot and she wrote them based off of what she learned about us as a couple when we met with her initially, so it was very personable and specific to us. She checked in with us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. Her pricing was very reasonable. I would highly recommend her, she will do a great job!

I don’t know where to start or how to say what Melissa means to my wife and I. In ways she’s been a savior helping me out of my crap and in others she’s been the motivating voice in the back of my mind pushing me forward. She has restored hope in our hearts and strength in our minds. Melissa does a fantastic job! We didn't plan on hiring anyone at first,I as my Grandma was going to officiate, however she was unable to because of her health. That's when we found Melissa. She took time to get to know us,and she offered us help and guidance for our big day. We had never had a real wedding, we eloped the year before. Our vowel renewal ceremony was so beautiful and well worded. We felt like this was the wedding we missed. My grandmother was brought to tears and said she could not have written it better herself.
