We knew a few moves and had danced at several friends weddings, but we’re uneasy about producing a dance that would seem in sync without feeling over choreographed.we covered a lot of ground in two sessions over the two weeks before our wedding (our fault for procrastinating). Nikki taught us a few new moves and helped us “drill” them until they looked smooth and candid and most importantly felt natural for both of us. ssional! As we started to look at options for dance lessons in the DC area, many of the ones we found seemed to require expensive packages or limited dates. We were thrilled to find Put a Swing on It and Nikki, who was flexible and created a plan based on exactly what we needed. From the very beginning, Nikki was professional, responsive, and patient. We had three one-hour lessons with Nikki, during which she choreographed a great first dance for us and made adjustments based on what we were comfortable with and enjoyed. Nikki is a fantastic instructor and exceedingly kind, and she made two non-dancers feel at ease! On the day of our wedding, we received rave reviews from our guests about the first dance, and we felt great sharing what we had learned from Nikki.

She choreographed and taught my son and I a four minute dance in two one hour lessons. It was beautiful and made me feel that way the night of the wedding. And she was successful in teaching my husband and I the steps I wanted for partner dancing. Never before in our 39 years of marriage has my husband been willing to count and remember steps in spite of countless lessons. But he did for Nikki. We showed off our skills at the wedding and at a birthday party last Saturday night in January and hope to go back for more lessons. The most fun part about hiring Nikki was that we all enjoyed the process and the outcome and it was fun! Nikki is a very talented dancer, choreographer and a special, beautiful person. There aren’t enough stars to give her!

She made us feel really comfortable and just showed us some fun moves we could incorporate that were coordinated to our first dance song. My husband actually wants us to take another lesson with her just because we had so much fun.

I wish we had an opportunity to do another choreographed dance, just so we could work with her again. Nikki is absolutely lovely and fun to be around. I highly recommend her!

She taught us step by step and make it much more enjoyable than I could have imagined. Even my husband loved the classes, thinks Nikki is amazing, and now even enjoys dancing! I highly recommend Nikki if you want to enjoy your dancing classes and impress everyone on your wedding night.
