About this vendor
Queen City Ensemble is a highly sought-after Professional String Trio based in Charlotte, NC. Sisters Jenny Jones and Becky Thoms are violinists who have formed this string trio with cellist Jean Beaudoin, playing for weddings and events in and around the Charlotte area. With an average of over 20 years of experience, each member is a classically trained musician. They have performed in numerous orchestras and accompanied several world-class musicians.
Why Hire Queen City Ensemble?
-Queen City Ensemble is not a group that is just put together for your wedding day or special event. Many contractors put together musicians who have never played together before your wedding day resulting in music that doesn't always sound put together which can result in disastrous wedding processionals/ recessionals.
-With over ten years of experience of playing together as a trio they are able to read each other's musical cues giving you a flawless performance.
-With hundreds of weddings; rehearsal dinners; cocktail hours; and wedding receptions under our belt, the trio has mastered the precise timing for wedding processions and have developed play lists of music pieces that will work for each type of event.
-From the moment you contact us until your wedding day, we are available to answer any and all questions as we guide you through the process of setting up your wedding vision with music.
-We personally contact your venue and wedding coordinators and work with them to ensure success when dealing with everything from trio placement to musical cues for your wedding procession down the aisle.
-You will be working one on one with a trio member who will give you unlimited personal guidence in choosing your wedding music.
-We have an extensive repertoire list. There are many pieces/songs to choose from. Our list includes standard classical music, many popular contemporary songs and even some broadway hits.
-Because the trio has access to music arrangers, we can take requests for music, not on our repertoire list, to help make your musical vision come true.

the day of. Extremely professional and played my requests during processional. I truly enjoyed working with them and our wedding ceremony would not have been the same without them. The strings made the ceremony more intimate and classy instead of having a DJ or other background music. Highly recommend and would book them all over again!

ofessionalism and talent. The music was flawless and my mother (a choir director in Asheboro, NC) still talks about how beautiful the ambiance was because of the ladies in Queen City. Their repertoire is vast and they will work with you to great levels of detail. They know what they are doing and sounded flawless (that's coming from a guest list of choir/band geeks too).

y beautiful and exactly what I envisioned it would be. Unfortunately, we were talking pictures during most of cocktail hour but I was able to capture some of the gorgeous music from just above our guests upstairs while having a little bit of quiet time with my new husband.
I would absolutely recommend them-a thousand times over! They were responsive, easy to work with and understanding of my wishy-washiness at the beginning stages of planning.
Definitely a 5 Star group!!!
