Queen City Quartet was fantastic on our wedding day. We had them play before, during, and after our ceremony during cocktail hour. They were very responsive, organized, and easy to work with. They were even able/willing to add a new song to their repertoire that was personal to us, although their list was already very long of both classical and contemporary pieces. We received many compliments from our guests on their performance. We would definitely recommend them to other couples looking to add a sophisticated, personal touch to their wedding!

Don’t think about it…BOOK THEM. They played for our ceremony and cocktail hour and they were something straight out of a fairy tale, so talented and great to work with. I could hardly make it down the aisle without tearing up. They also had a great list of songs to choose from- both contemporary and classics. My only regret was that I didn't get to hear much of the cocktail hour.

They did a custom arrangement during our ceremony and it turned out beautiful. They were easy to work with and they have great songs to choose from. Queen City Quartet were fabulous on our wedding day! I knew I wanted strings during the ceremony for a classic and romantic feel, and I'm so glad we chose this group. I was super impressed by their repertoire and selections of classical and more modern songs. Loved that I could have current music played on strings! Anything they don't know you can ask them to learn for a small fee, which was a nice touch to customize your day even more. Although I didn't get to hear a lot of it until I got to the aisle, I've heard nothing but rave reviews from my family and guests. Even hearing my song as I began walking down the aisle contributed to the major butterflies I already had. I couldn't have asked for a better team!

They were great to work with and I would 100% recommend them to any of my family and friends. I started booking vendors in 2016 for my 2018 and they were one of the few that actually responded to email. I loved all their song choices(both classical and pop). Made it super personalized and special and got a lot of compliments.

Queen City Quartet was the perfect selection for our ceremony music. Communication during planning was prompt and clear, and all of the music (both our contemporary and classical selections) sounded great on the big day. The group even improvised with another song when there was a sight delay before beginning the ceremony. They just happened to pick my brother and sister-in-law’s wedding song, which was a really sweet coincidence and a great save—appreciated by the entire wedding party! All of our guests loved the contemporary selections Queen City Quartet played during seating at our wedding, and of course the classical pieces were...classic (and very well executed)! I loved the balance of class and fun that Queen City Quartet brought to our otherwise pretty casual event, and I would reccommend the group to any other couple.

When I think of Queen City Quartet, I think of my first dance with my husband: hearing the beautiful strings behind us, over the silence of the guests, and feeling so intimate and beautiful in that moment. When music is performed well, it can bring out emotions - and I felt so many with Queen City Quartet on our wedding day! I remember hearing them during cocktail hour, and wanting to wrap up photos so I could go over and listen! The way the play will draw you in. Chrissy Bender was incredible to work with, as our special request was a cover of our first-dance song, with an added layer of complexity: adding a Tabla player (a drummer) to their quartet for the cover! She sent a rehearsal recording, they worked with the artist, and they played beautifully on our big day! They play the classics, but also offer an amazing list of pop/top hits that were so fun to pick from! I loved pulling from those for our cocktail hour. I would highly suggest Queen City Quartet for any tri-state couples considering a quartet on their big day, or for any occasion! Very professional, and a job well done!

I saw Queen City Quartet play at my friends wedding and immediately knew I wanted them for mine as well. They just played for my ceremony on 6/3/17 and were fantastic. Communication was pretty easy and picking my songs was a breeze, you just do it online. I just wish I was able to hear more of their songs for my own ceremony! But since I was the bride this time, I was hidden way in the back. But a lot of my guests said they loved it! I would highly recommend them for anyone for their wedding!

We hired the Queen City Quartet to play during our wedding ceremony. They were amazing! They learned the Game of Thrones theme song so I could walk down the aisle to it! It was perfect and so many of our guests were amazed by the sound quality. I highly recommend Queen City Quartet!

A huge “Thank you” to the Queen City Quartet for making our Wedding Day amazing! Our guests are still commenting on how beautiful the music was during our ceremony! I spoke with Chrissy quite a bit regarding song selections, etc. and she was always quick to respond and willing to answer any questions/concerns we had. I highly recommend Queen City Quartet – they are AWESOME :)

Queen City Quartet was my first choice for live ceremony music- they were very competitively priced, they had awesome reviews on The Knot, and their sample music online was absolutely beautiful. My now husband and I fell in love with them and they were the perfect added touch to our wedding ceremony. Chrissy was wonderful, incredibly easy to get in touch with, and always responded almost immediately. Their repertoire is virtually endless and they have all different styles of music they are able to play. As the bride, I missed most of the music, but I can't wait to watch our video from our wedding day and hear all the music they played before, during, and after the ceremony!

The Queen City Quartet was the perfect touch to help my ceremony stand out!! So many of the guests commented on how special it was to have them play and what a fantastic job they did! The song I wanted to walk down the aisle to was not on their list but they found an arrangement and it was perfect. I LOVED being able to walk down the aisle to "our song" with a unique twist!

Queen City Quartet was professional, prompt with returning emails and messages and able to assist with some music selection. Queen City Quartet did such an amazing job playing my ceremony and cocktail hour. We had very specific music we wanted during the ceremony (Jurassic Park and Back to the Future), and the music was beautiful and personal. Chrissy and team were very easy to work with and very responsive to any questions I had throughout the months leading up to the event. Queen City Quartet was such a beautiful addition to my son's wedding. For me, music is an emotional part of the wedding and they were everything I could have asked for. As the mother of the groom, this was an important part of the ceremony that I wanted to help them with. Chrissy was easy to work with, worked with the kids on the music they wanted played, even seeking out music the kids wanted that they did not have, and reasonably priced. The Quartet was very professional, came in, set up, played beautifully, and then were gone while the venue turned over. I highly recommend them, I will always recommend them!

Queen City Quartet played for my daughters wedding June 25th and I couldn't be happier!! They were a delight to work with and never scoffed when we 'changed our minds'. They even made beautiful suggestions for specific parts of the ceremony. Their beautiful music made the day absolutely PERFECT! Thank you!

The Queen City Quartet was very professional on the day of the wedding. My only complaint would be that the planning process made me feel a little uneasy, because they had no sample music, and they do not show up to your rehearsal unless you pay more, so I was not sure what I was going to get on the day of the wedding. (I booked them because they came with good reviews.) You also don't really get to speak to any one of them prior to the wedding day - Everything was done through theknot.com email system. I will say that they were very helpful in song selection and provided me a list with examples of song choices for each part of the wedding. We decided to mix up some of the combinations, which was no problem. On the day of the wedding they showed up on time and played all songs we requested. Most important of all, they sounded WONDERFUL! I wish we could have had them for our reception, but it was at a different location. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a string group for their wedding!

Queen City Quartet performed everything we wanted to hear. The weather was cold and windy with the temps hovering around the 50 degree mark with 20 MPH winds, but they didn't skip a beat and came prepared to play in the weather. I was more than happy with their services and would certainly recommend them to anyone in the Cincinnati Tri State area.

I honestly can say that this group MADE my fairytale dreams come true. I picked the songs for them to play, they played them absolutely perfectly and beautifully. I loved every minute of the ceremony because the songs were so special to me. They learned the songs for my day and helped make my day perfect. Chrissy is so responsive and easy to work with. Queen City Quartet played for a surprise proposal I planned. The music was perfect and there selection of classical and pop music was ideal. They are top professionals and were extremely precise and dependable. They really made our special day one to remember and I would highly recommend them!

I booked Queen City Quartet for my November wedding at Music Hall. They played so beautifully and gave the ballroom such an elegant feel form the minute you walked in. They were easy to work with and played all of my song requests. They even saved Taylor Swift for last so I could be sure to hear it! They are amazing and the music was wonderful. So happy we booked them!

A Queen City trio played for our wedding at the end of September of this year. They were amazing and easy to work with. The fact that we live 1.5 hours away from Cincinnati and didn't have to make an extra trip down there for music was a huge help for us. They had a music selection list and selection forms all available online. Again, we booked the trio. All musicians showed up on time (probably early...but I was a bit preoccupied) and played our selections flawlessly at a perfect volume throughout the Bell Event Centre. I'm a pretty "hands off" kind of guy when it comes to these things, but the one time my wife and I did have a question regarding shifting ceremony start time, it was responded to in less than 24 hours. They accommodated the ceremony start time, no problem. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for strings at their wedding. Book Queen City, make your selections, and expect they'll do a great job. Believe me, they will. Cheers!

We were so pleased with the Queen City Quartet, and they did an absolutely lovely job playing the ceremony music for our June wedding! It was so great working with Chrissy to pick our music choices and filling out the online music planning form was a breeze! I did not know many classical music titles myself, and the Queen City Quartet made everything so easy and stress free! On the wedding day, they arrived promptly, and everything went perfectly! The music was amazing and I received many compliments! Also - the price was very reasonable! I would recommend the Queen City Quartet to anyone getting married!

The performance by the Queen City Quartet created a beautiful ambiance before, during and after our ceremony. We received compliments from friends and family on their performance and what a nice addition it was to the ceremony. They were easy to work with in planning for the event, including a helpful form with song ideas that came in very handy in our decisions for each portion of the ceremony. The Queen City Quartet provided wonderful music for our daughter's wedding July 2013. They helped us select the music and also transcribed a piece for piano that we wanted so that they could play it on strings. I definitely would recommend them and use them again.
