I’m a goldsmith using traditional techniques to create unique fine jewelry. I use 100% recycled precious metals, Canadian mined diamonds, Montana mined sapphires, and recycled African mined diamonds taken from vintage jewelry. I studied at the North Bennett Street School in Boston and the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco. I love creating custom engagement rings and wedding bands and I'm particularly inspired by vintage jewelry.

Went to a consultation appointment and everything went well; I was set on what engagement ring i wanted. After not hearing from Lauren a few weeks later I attempted to follow up with her 3 different times and never heard anything back. She was really nice in person and thought she wanted to work with us on a ring, so once I realized she ghosted me I was very disappointed.

ntentionally. At the time of our first meeting in October 2021 we didn't have anything in stock within your $3000 budget. We were able to show you a few smaller sapphires within your budget range and discussed sharing photos and links to purchase when they were in our case. We sent you links to view or purchase three rings within your budget range before they went live to the public on our site. The link was sent 10/28, 11/4, and 11/11. We see all of our correspondence starting before your initial consultation, we can also see if and when they're viewed. The three options have sold, but we're always creating new stock for our site. We wish you well, and hope you found the perfect ring to suit your needs.

We're so happy with our ring! We had Lauren design a custom engagement ring for my girlfriend. She wanted something in a vintage style and that's exactly what we got. We'll be back for our wedding bands very soon.

Lauren is truly a master of her craft and wonderful to work with. Her passion really shows in her jewelry and in the time she spends with clients to connect with them and find the best fit for them. Her work is one of a kind and my fiancé and i can honestly and proudly say that the engagement ring she created for us is the most beautiful ring we have ever seen. I reached out to Lauren at Quercus to design a long overdue ring for my wife. Even though I know next to nothing about jewelry and with only some rough ideas of what my wife liked, Lauren was able to take my input and come up with an incredible piece. She walked me through all aspects of creating the ring, from picking the stones and band material, and helped make sure it was within a budget I could afford. I was totally impressed by her dedication to her craft and her professionalism. I gave her what in retrospect was probably a pretty unreasonable timeline and she got it done and it turned out incredible. Even after the ring was finished, she helped to make sure it arrived on time, and helped me through some anxious moments with the delivery company. My wife could not love the ring more and I would strongly recommend Lauren and Quercus to anyone who asked.

I could not be more thrilled with my ring. It is absolutely beautiful and the quality is amazing. Lauren is very easy to work with and has great ideas and insights into making the experience unique and special. We have worked with her on both an original piece and a reworking of an heirloom piece and are very happy with both of them.

Lauren is an incredibly creative and meticulous artist and jeweler. She created both my engagement ring and my wedding band, and I couldn’t be happier. She guided my husband through the creation of the engagement ring and never once steered him in the wrong direction. The best stones, metal and craftsmanship all make for beautiful jewelry. I only buy my jewelry from Quercus Studio.

Lauren made us beautiful hand crafted wedding bands in addition to my engagement ring. We were able to take a family heirloom and design a stunning modern ring with vintage flair. All the engravings she did are incredible and of course all done by hand. Quercus Studio is a local woman owned business and we love everything she does!

If communication is what you want, this is not where you want to go for custom made jewelry in my opinion. I gave Lauren my ring to be re-crafted into a stronger ring. She had the ring more than a month. I asked her twice for information. Both times she said she would get back to me. When I complained she told me to come get my ring. She may make good jewelry but I’ll never know.

Lauren at Quercus is amazing. We found her on Yelp when we were on a mission to find a small business jeweler, and I could not be more thankful that we came across her work. She’s situated in the heart of DTR, her store literally means Oak Tree, and for Raleigh-lovers - this is the best of the best. Lauren made several beautiful pieces for our big day; from my engagement ring, to our wedding bands, to love knot pendants for our mothers! We love each piece, and we love how special Lauren made each piece. She is extremely professional, caring, and masterful. I could not recommend her more! Her dog, Alfred, is also a big highlight to this experience :)
