About this vendor
"People are at their most beautiful when they are laughing, crying, dancing, playing, telling the truth and being chased in a fun way." -Amy Poehler
My work is about connection. Connection between you and your partner, you and your environment, to your tribe, to your community, to yourself. Sometimes formal posing can get kinda stiff and make you not look or feel like yourself, and that’s why I focus on creating spaces for fun, play and authenticity that are better for self expression. Working in a space of creative play helps keep everyone focused on joy and authenticity without the stress of formal posing with a camera is pointed on you.
If you and your partner are quiet, soulful, and gentle, your images will reflect that. If you are more boisterous, energetic, and outgoing, your images will reflect that too. If you are both those things, you'll have quite the mixed catalog of images! Bring me all of who you are, and together we will create a powerful visual story.
My professional photographer superpowers include: Anticipating action, finding the best light, pivoting when the schedule goes sideways for an unexpected happy moment, holding space for complex family dynamics, and supporting you being your authentic self through it all. Cameras have been my voice for a long time, a first love that's never left.
My clients are looking for authentic, honest and connected images to celebrate their relationships. They may not want to be the center of attention, or do a lot of formal, posed photographs, or abide by a list of must-have wedding poses. They appreciate beautiful images that are true to the situation and transmit a range of emotions in every moment. And they want to give the gift of these memories to their future selves.

ortlessly. She was extremely efficient and organized when taking family photos at the church. At our photo location, she made us feel very comfortable and came up with so many different photos to take. She got all the photos we wanted and more. She sent us a sneak peek of our photos (about 75 of them) two days after our wedding, which is truly incredible timeliness. She was by far the best vendor we worked with and I would book her again in a heartbeat! Thank you!
Maggie was fantastic to work with. She was with us from our engagement photos to our wedding day. To say she is flexible and accommodating is an understatement. For our engagement ...
photos, she drove to us in Appleton, then took the best photos under the worst swarm of mosquitoes WI has ever seen. It was wonderful. The day of our wedding the pictures went so smoothly. She had the list of photos we wanted before the day and she kept it moving! She got pictures of us getting ready to the very end with all the dancing. We had about an hour and a half after our ceremony to get photos with our family and then hop a bus to go to a park nearby. She got beautiful photos under a short time frame. My bridesmaids commented on how great she was and kept it fun but also professional. She told us at the end of the night that we would be getting sneak peeks in about a week, we got them within 2 days! The sneak peeks are amazing with so many and I can't wait to see the rest! Maggie was fantastic to work with!

mpletely out of her way to see the space before hand and came to our rehearsal dinner to see the space as we set it up. We were in constant contact before the wedding and Maggie was so helpful to make our vision happen.

lled with the pictures. She really works with you and takes the time to make sure you're comfortable with timelines of the day, series of events, where you'll take pictures, and basically anything else. She was very easy to get ahold of and responded to emails quickly! It was important to my wife and I to have a photographer that has experience shooting same sex weddings. WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! She made both brides feel so important and valued on the day. You will not regret working with Maggie!

only the planned moments, but all of the little, spontaneous things that happen and create the best memories. Our photos are a great reflection of our wedding day. Maggie was professional, easy to work with, and knew just how to guide a group of people or the two of us during photo sessions. She was flexible when we wanted a last minute photo of something, and did a great job making everyone feel natural and comfortable. Plus, she has a great sense of humor.
