We are Ben and Moriah Reynolds, a married team, both born and raised in Alaska. We photograph weddings and elopements across Anchorage, the Mat-Su Valley, Girdwood, Seward, and anywhere else your day takes you, including outside the state. A wedding has a lot of moving parts and something almost always goes a little sideways. The timeline slips, the weather changes its mind, someone forgets the boutonnieres. That is our job to handle, not yours. Before the day we help you build a photo timeline around what you actually want, and we are a sounding board while you plan. On the day, we stay calm and catch the real thing while it happens. There are two of us at every wedding. Ben shoots the day as it unfolds. Moriah keeps it moving, fixes the small stuff, and keeps everyone relaxed. One of us is always watching the moment while the other is making it work, which means two angles of what matters and a built-in backup if anything goes wrong. We work in a documentary style, so the photos look like your day rather than a template. People who are sure they are bad in front of a camera tend to be surprised by how theirs turn out.
