Rabbi Jeff was an absolute pleasure to get to know and was the perfect officiant for our wedding. He provided just the right amount of levity, humor and faith to our ceremony, and ...
was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in preparing us for the big day. He was a huge hit with our guests and made us feel at ease under the chuppah. Highly, highly recommended!!
When we first met Rabbi Jeff Marx, he was so personable, detail oriented, and made us feel comfortable with our interfaith marriage and options for the ceremony. We met several tim...
es and never left with any questions - he gave us checklists and timelines there were never any surprises and he made us feel very at ease. He even spoke to us about topics that would be covered in premarital counseling and he was great. On the day of the ceremony, he showed up on time and was very professional and introduced himself to all members of the bridal party and explained the meaning of the signing of the ketubah to our friends and family (some not from a Jewish background). That was a very nice touch. We got many compliments from guests that he was the best Rabbi they had heard officiate a wedding. He kept the guest informed on the meaning of each part of the ceremony, while keeping it light hearted and even funny. At the beginning he took the opportunity to let us look out to the guests and appreciate the moment. But he did this in a funny way by saying “I know you all think you have a better camera than the photographers here, so take a moment and take your picture of the bride and groom as they turn and face you”. It was unexpected and awesome! Thank you Rabbi - you made our wedding day a moment we will never forget and so special. Highly recommend reaching out to have him officiate your wedding, whether you are both Jewish or having an interfaith ceremony!
We had a hard time finding a reformed rabbi to orchestrate our ceremony. When we met Rabbi Jeff Marx, we knew he was the one. He was personable, funny, and light hearted.
We met ...
over Skype 3 times during our engagement to get to know each other as well as go over wedding stuff.
He kept in contact with us in between our Skype sessions as well. The ceremony was really wonderful and people from all religions complimented us on how great the rabbi was! The ceremony was exactly like him, funny and lighthearted which is what we wanted! Thank you again Rabbi Jeff Marx!!
Rabbi Marx handled our impossible family dynamic with such grace. We were so nervous about how some of our family would behave on the day of the ceremony and he kept everyone on g...
