Rabbi Jen Gubitz and ModernJewISHCouples were amazing for our wedding. Rabbi Gubitz and her team at Modern JewISHCouples worked with us in premarital counseling and guided my partner and I through deep and important conversations to improve our communication and to find ways to reconcile any differing views and value. As an interfaith, LGBT couple we felt easily accepted and supported throughout the process of preparing for our wedding. The Premarital counseling was focused on areas that we felt we struggle with in our communication. The group classes with other couples made it such that we felt like we built a community as we all prepared for marriage. Rabbi Rachael was amazing in leading these sessions and making them interactive, not intimidating, and helped us think about the principles of Judaism in an easily accessible and modern way. Being the non-Jewish half of the couple, I could find areas within my partner's culture and religion that are more accessible and easier to understand and support my partner's identity as a Jewish person.
Rabbi Gubitz was incredibly fun to talk to and informative. She learned about us efficiently and all our sessions felt like talking to a new friend. We felt very comfortable with her and she developed an amazing ceremony for us that all of our friends and family were in awe with. They would comment on what a beautiful personal ceremony we had and how patient she was in explaining the steps to the ceremony for those who were not Jewish. She also made jokes and kept the ceremony fun and light while also honoring us as the couple and our loved ones. We could not have imagined a more perfect ceremony for our special day. We have zero regrets in choosing Rabbi Jen Gubitz to officiate our ceremony as an interfaith, LGBT couple.

Choosing Rabbi Jen as our officiant was the best decisions we made for our wedding. We are an interfaith couple and her thoughtfulness, care, and humor were so helpful as we planned our ceremony and our future together. We received so much positive feedback from our Jewish and non-Jewish guests about how warm, welcoming, and personal our ceremony felt, while also staying true to the Jewish traditions that were important to us. Highly recommend!!

Rabbi Jen was the perfect person to marry us. Coming from two different upbringings with Judaism, we weren't sure we were going to use a Rabbi at all, but after meeting Jen that changed everything for us. We even shared an alma mater which made her the perfect person for us! We love Jen and would recommend her to all!

Words cannot express how lucky we feel to have been able to work with Rabbi Jen Gubitz. She took the time to get to know us as individuals, and as a couple. Between her diligence in preparation, her guidance in helping us navigate an interfaith ceremony, and her calming and wise words on the day of our wedding, we could not have been more impressed. She was welcoming and inclusive to all of our guests, and explained tradtional components of our ceremony to those who were unfamiliar with Jewish customs. Our guests continue to praise Rabbi Gubitz's excellence even months after our wedding day. If you are looking for a Rabbi for your wedding ceremony, look no further. Rabbi Gubitz, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all that you did to make our wedding amazing! We are forever grateful!

We are so happy to leave a very grateful review for Rabbi Jen Gubitz of ModernJewISHCouples. She made our unique wedding so magical and helped us achieve everything we hoped to for our special day.
As an interfaith couple, (Jewish and Tibetan Buddhist) we decided to weave our cultures with the help of a Rabbi and Buddhist Geshe to symbolize the merging of our families. Rabbi Jen was happy to collaborate with the Geshe, and us, to find common ground and plan for the best blend of Judaism and Buddhism, while honoring our level of engagement with our respective religions. She respectfully encouraged us to consider elements of both of our backgrounds and cultures into the wedding, even before we fully committed to doing so. We are very grateful that she did this, as it created a safe space for us to openly discuss our specific relationships to and feelings about religion.
Her regular zoom calls with us were thorough, thoughtful, respectful and sincere as we went through the process. We feel that she truly got to know who we are. She checked in with our hearts at every turn and executed the ceremony beautifully. We wouldn’t have had it any other way and are thankful she was a part of it.
Jen went above and beyond to support us in other ways the day of the wedding. Our Ketubah signing was such a beautiful and sentimental moment, as we were able to have it outside and were joined by all of our family and friends. We were blessed that she invited the Geshe to sign our Ketubah, alongside her. Jen is a thoughtful, funny, relaxed, modern Rabbi. She would make a great presence to any modern JewISH event!
Thank you, Rabbi Jen!!

Julie and I just wanted to say thank you. You really helped make our celebration special and something greater than we even imagined it could be. We appreciate your flexibility in timing, your ability to command the attention of the crowd, how you handled a vocal crowd with grace and humor, and the personal details you added about Julie and myself. You absolutely exceeded all of our expectations and we are so grateful that you were able to be a part of our wedding.

We felt so incredibly lucky to have Rabbi Jen officiate our wedding in 2017. Our families came from different denominational backgrounds, and she really took the time to create a ceremony that honored traditions from both sides. Her ease under the chuppah made everyone feel comfortable, and she balanced the seriousness of the occasion with plenty of jokes, keeping us smiling and laughing throughout the ceremony. We feel lucky to consider her a friend, and even luckier that she was a part of our wedding day.
