An added bonus of working with Rabbi Rudin is that she has a growing community that encourages members to experience Judaism in a way that's authentic to the individual. My husband and I were both incredibly nervous and her calming/grounding energy helped both of us each step of the way. During our reception we received dozens of compliments on how much everyone enjoyed our ceremony and Rabbi Rudin. She will make your wedding day incredibly special!

on-religious, and I am Jewish but non-practicing, so we were seeking a Rabbi who would be willing to tailor a service to both of our needs. We were looking for a very small back yard ceremony but didn't really know where to start. At our first meeting with Rabbi Rudin, she came with a lot of questions about each of us, our relationship, and our desires for the wedding itself. She helped us establish what we would be comfortable with or not, and proposed things like readings, the signing of a ketubah, and other symbols we could incorporate to make a subtle but still a decidedly Jewish wedding. We were clearly in good hands! The wedding day itself was lovely. She arrived early to help walk us through the ceremony and calm us down. While we had not heard the readings ahead of time, they fit the themes we had discussed with her and we felt they suited us perfectly. The ceremony was everything we had planned with her - no more, and no less. Absolutely perfect!

Meeting with the Rabbi in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding was lovely - she is so approachable and has such a calming demeanor which was greatly appreciated given the stresses of wedding planning! She warmly officiated our wedding, and patiently educated my Irish Catholic mother on all the details related to the Ketubah signing and ceremony. Rabbi Rudin visited with my parents and checked in about my mom often, always asking about her progress and including them in her prayers. She was always so responsive and supportive, and always made time for us, always making us feel like the most important people, even while juggling her own home and family life. ntly belong to a temple. I wanted to find a rabbi who would work with us to incorporate both our preferences in the ceremony and who wouldn’t pressure us to get involved with a congregation. We met with Rabbi Rudin three times before the wedding to plan out the ceremony and get to know her. We appreciated being able to meet with her on Sundays so we didn’t have to change our work schedules. Rabbi Rudin created a personalized and meaningful ceremony for us combining Jewish and secular traditions. She also allowed for (and encouraged) my in-laws to include some Chinese wedding traditions. Many guests commented to me on specific things in the ceremony they really liked. We had an outdoor ceremony, with no cover (other than our chuppah which was made of mesh fabric and not waterproof!), and it started to rain in the middle. Rabbi Rudin was so calm and graceful and continued on and helped put everyone at ease. I noticed she even had her notes prepared in plastic page protectors! She had also asked me about what color to wear for the photos—she pays attention to those details. Her fee was very reasonable. We enjoyed working with her and highly recommend.

as easier than every thanks to Rabbi Rudin's flexibility. We skyped, facetimed, whenever we needed to and it really felt like she got to know us as a couple. My husband never met her before but he agreed with my wholeheartedly on the matter. It was no competition when it came to deciding who would marry us. One thing that stood out to me was the first question she asked us on our first skype call: tell me about you, as a couple, your families and you're life together. WOW!! You can bet no other vendor asked me any of that for our "big day". She helped guide on the items we needed provided at the ceremony, with clear instructions of what we needed to supply and what she would have available already. She helped guide us to find a ketubah, the glass to break, all of it! We got to customize the ceremony to how we wanted it to be, along with her guidance on explaining some of the traditions behind each thing. Lastly, this is minor but we really loved it; she had her back to the audience so that our guests could see our faces during the ceremony and we could see them. It was so nice. We LOVED Rabbi Rudin and you will too when you decide to hire her for your event.
