Rabbi Klein officiated our wedding at the end of April 2023 and he did such a wonderful job!!
We loved having him as our rabbi - we valued the time he spent getting to know us and meeting with us ahead of time as well as the unique way he worked with us to build our interfaith ceremony.
Rabbi Klein is a great guy and we would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a rabbi for their wedding.
He made the experience of marrying one another feel meaningful and sacred without feeling over wrought or heavy handed - exactly what we wanted. He was happy to tailor the ceremony to what we envisioned and spent time explaining the meaning of certain elements to us so that we could make an informed decision about what to include in our ceremony.
Everyone was singing his praises after the ceremony! Honestly, he was fantastic. Highly recommend - thank you Rabbi Klein!!
My husband and I struggled to find a rabbi that was willing to do an interfaith ceremony. My mom found Rabbi Jonathan online, and we couldn't be more thrilled to have found him! Jonathan officiated our LA wedding ceremony, and leading up to the big day, Jonathan spent tons of time gettin
g to know us and crafting the perfect ceremony along with the reverend from my husband's church. Together we all put together a unique blend of Jewish and Christian traditions that was meaningful to us as well as both of our families. Our sessions with him were fun (and educational), and Jonathan was extremely patient as we navigated the complexities of Covid as well as our mixed faiths. Finding Jonathan was truly *bashert* and we are forever grateful that he made our big day so special.
We recently moved to LA from Toronto and, as you can imagine, planning a wedding from afar can be daunting. Our journey took an unexpected turn when we found out a week before our wedding that the rabbi we had originally chosen was basically a fraud who double-booked himself and told us he could no longer officiate. Devastated and unsure of where to turn, I left a very emotional voicemail for Rabbi Jonathan Klein.
In less than 20 minutes, Rabbi Klein called me back, truly answering our prayers. Despite the fact that our wedding fell during one of the busiest times of the Jewish year, between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, he gave us his full commitment to officiate. We couldn’t believe the kindness and care he showed in stepping in during such a high-demand period, all while leading multiple congregations.
Despite his busy schedule, Rabbi Klein took the time to get to know us. He crafted the most beautiful, personalized ceremony that exceeded all our expectations. It was sweet, playful, joyous, grounded, and deeply connected to us as a couple. One of the highlights was his soulful rendition of the Shehecheyanu, accompanied by his guitar, which added such a unique and touching element to our day.
While I am Jewish, and my husband is not, but Rabbi Klein made sure that both of us felt equally embraced. He created an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere that made my husband feel like he was part of the Jewish family and faith. Our ceremony was thoughtfully inclusive for our multicultural guests, and Rabbi Klein’s warmth and wisdom shone through in every moment.
We had countless guests come up to us afterward to express how moved they were by the ceremony, praising Rabbi Klein’s heartfelt and genuine approach. Our guests noted many times how much insight was gained about the Jewish tradition through Rabbi Klein's approach. It was perfect in every way, and we will always be grateful for the unforgettable day he helped create.
We highly recommend Rabbi Jonathan Klein to anyone looking for a truly meaningful, inclusive, and personalized wedding ceremony. We feel incredibly blessed to have had him as a part of our special day, and also that he will continue to be part of our lives here in LA!
We were so lucky to find Rabbi Klein for our intimate wedding ceremony! His energy, professionalism, and willingness to adapt to our wants made for an absolutely beautiful moment. Thank you for your kind words, your community spirit, and your ability to lead the crowd! 10/10 would recommend to other couples!!
