Rabbi Noyo is an inclusive and innovative wedding officiant based in Boston, MA. Rabbi Sarah Noyovitz, affectionately known as Rabbi Noyo, will work with you to create a personalized wedding ceremony that feels meaningful and reflective of both beloveds. She spends time getting to know you, your stories, and what kind of ceremony you are dreaming of.
Whether you want simple "I Dos" or have a detailed vision, whether you're eloping or are blending families or traditions, Rabbi Noyo will make your ceremony feel amazing and perfectly you. Packages range from $300 to $2000, but finances should never be a barrier to your love, and Rabbi Noyo is happy to discuss what works for you. Please don't hesitate to ask.
---Non-Jewish Ceremonies---
Although she is Jewish clergy, Rabbi Noyo also does non-Jewish weddings! She is a thoughtful officiant and very supportive of non-religious weddings, and can officiate with or without a unity ceremony.
---Jewish Ceremonies---
For couples interested in a Jewish ceremony, Rabbi Noyo will take you through all the options, including what is historically traditional as well as modern alternatives and new traditions. She is kind and patient, no matter how much you know about Jewish wedding rituals, explaining each option and what it can signify if you choose to use it. She is very communicative and will follow up each meeting with notes so you don't have to remember everything you covered. The wedding honorarium also includes resources for where to get your chuppah, smash glass, and ketubah if you are still looking, as well as guidance on the ketubah text. All of the meetings and premarital counseling are included as well.
The only requirement for a Jewish or interfaith wedding is that if you are having a ring ceremony, there must be two rings. Everything else is up to you! Want to include rituals from a non-Jewish partner's background? Let's do it! Don't want any mention of God? No problem! Prefer to come up with your own magic words? We love it! Rabbi Noyo is ready for it all.
Rabbi Noyo happily officiates events on Shabbat/Saturday and any day of the week in the Boston area. She supports interfaith/multifaith couples and is open to co-officiation if you would like representation from two clergy people. She is queer and nonbinary herself and loves to work with queer couples. She affirms and supports poly folks and can create a ceremony that honors a whole polycule. She knows that Jews come in all colors, genders, and backgrounds, and will make sure you feel supported and cared for throughout the whole process.
---Other Services---
Rabbi Noyo absolutely loves weddings and all life cycle events. She also does baby namings, b'nei mitzvah services, conversions, funerals, and unveilings. She also creates rituals for queer transitional moments, such as marking a gender affirmation surgery or name change. It would be her honor to help you make your milestone event special!

Rabbi Noyo was incredible to work with. They helped us create a customized, one of a kind, queer, Jewish wedding that felt like it was uniquely ours but also incorporated all of the traditions that were meaningful to us. They were so organized and stayed connected throughout the whole planning process, making sure that we were on track and even sending us checklists to help us through the overwhelm ! Our guests were all so impressed - everyone agreed she was the best officiant they'd ever seen perform a ceremony. 11/10 would recommend !!

Rabbi Noyo was a joy to work with! My fiancée and I had just gotten engaged a month before the 2024 election, and after the results, like many queer couples, we felt anxious about our safety and our future ability to marry. That’s when I came across a post from Rabbi Noyo in a local queer Facebook group, offering her services to queer couples seeking marriage certificate signatures. My fiancée and I decided even if we were going to elope, we still wanted a formal ceremony and Rabbi Noyo was more than happy to make that happen for us.
Neither of us comes from a strong religious background, and Rabbi Noyo made us feel completely comfortable with our choice for a non-denominational ceremony. She met with us twice before the ceremony, helping us stay calm and organized throughout the process. They also provided us with beautiful script options for key parts of the ceremony, such as the "I Do" questions, ring vows, and the pronouncement. These thoughtful options helped make the entire process feel much less stressful.
Given the nature of our elopement, there was no time for a rehearsal before the ceremony. We had no idea what Rabbi Noyo’s full script would be, but it turned out to be perfect. The words she chose about us as a couple and the venue where we married were so beautiful. We feel incredibly lucky to have met such a caring officiant, who was willing to work with us in less than three weeks and still deliver the ceremony of our dreams.

Rabbi Noyo is the best! Hire her now.
More context:
We hired Rabbi Noyo to officiate our interfaith wedding this past September. We wanted to add some jewish elements to our wedding but did not know what our options were beyond breaking the glass and the Chuppah. Rabbi Noyo was understanding and patient with us - she took the time to really get to know me and now husband, our history, what we love about one another, etc... and she encouraged us to have difficult conversations, which she cleverly coined as 'pillow talk'. This helped strengthen our bond and us feel completely secure and ready for our upcoming nuptials.
In additional to these sessions, Rabbi Noyo also took the time to explain the various elements that could be incorporated leading up to and during the ceremony, the significance behind them, and even provided information on where to learn more/buy items. She never pressured us or made us feel badly for skipping items and even provided alternative language for prayers, etc. that felt more like us.
She also provided input on our program, reviewed our vows, and even had printed copies ready for us during the ceremony.
Her words during the ceremony were BEAUTIFUL, heartfelt, and funny. She knew the little things that mattered (e.g., setting expectations, moving to the side for the kiss, etc.) and helped everyone feel so comfortable. She encouraged our love to shine through and facilitated an absolutely gorgeous ceremony.
Our guests are even still talking about how amazing the Rabbi was and asking where to find her.
Hire her now! You will not regret it :)

Rabbi Sarah Noyo was a wonderful officiant at our wedding. We met several times before the wedding over Zoom, and they helped us design a ceremony that was unique and personalized for us as an interfaith and queer couple, explaining the meaning behind various Jewish traditions that we could include/exclude. The Rabbi's reminders and timeline for tasks/decisions kept us organized in the busy months before our wedding. Their officiating at the ceremony was both moving and funny, and given their effort to get to know us, felt special and personal. Our guests all mentioned how beautiful our ceremony was.

Their scripting and approach to a Jewish ceremony were both mesmerizing and gentle, projecting an overwhelming sense of love and connection. Rabbi Noyo was fantastic to work with as we were building our interfaith wedding (Jewish husband, Catholic wife). We didn't know what to expect, but Rabbi Noyo took us through all of our options, allowing us to identify the customs and traditions that most resonated with us. She then worked closely with the priest to intertwine our chosen Jewish and similarly chosen Catholic elements into one ceremony. It was a massive success.

Sarah was very helpful at helping us to design a ceremony that was a comfortable fit for both of us--one from a Catholic background, and one from a Reform Jewish background, but neither particularly spiritual or religious. We had conversations in which Sarah took us through the framework of the ceremony and helped to guide us in choosing readings and traditions that were meaningful to us, and bridged the gap exceptionally well for our guests of different backgrounds. So many guests approached us after the ceremony to compliment her, and one of the most common remarks was how "us" it was. It was clearly very important to Sarah that our wedding experience was not "cut and paste." It was tailored specifically to us, our personalities, and beliefs. Getting to know Sarah as a Rabbi and seeing her process, I know this would be the case for any couple working with her. Sarah was kind, professional, and prepared in every way, we would absolutely recommend her.

Rabbi Noyo is absolutely amazing! She is kind, respectful, and genuinely cared about us. She spoke with us with honesty and with compassion. She worked with us to create a ceremony and day that was meaningful and true to us as a couple. I cannot sing her praise enough. We had numerous guests, both Jewish and not, who were blown away by how inclusive, genuine, and true to us the rabbi made our ceremony.

Rabbi Noyo led our wedding service with humor, compassion and energy! In planning our ceremony, Sara did a wonderful job connecting with us and our families. She made certain that our family members held special roles in the ceremony. During the service, she shared touching comments that related to our one on one sessions and shared them with our guests in a moving way. There were tears and there was laughter! She has a unique way of connecting with everyone she encounters. Rabbi Noyo has an uplifting spirit and was able to “go with the flow” on our special day. If you want an officiant that cares deeply, touches your heart, and performs at the highest level, you should ask Rabbi Noyo to lead your ceremony.
