About this vendor
I am a Richmond, VA "wedding rabbi" and secular wedding officiant serving Virginia, DC, West Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland and beyond.
A wedding ceremony is an expression of who you are as a couple, your shared (and different) religious and cultural traditions, your values, and how you wish to express before your family and friends what it means to be married. We can make any changes you would like to reflect what you want your special day to be about.
Interested in having someone just sign a marriage license and that-is-that? I can do that, too!
Searching for a Jewish wedding in Richmond, VA? Looking for a wedding officiant in Virginia who will perform LGBTQ weddings, interfaith weddings, weddings on Shabbat and other Jewish holidays, non-religious and non-Jewish ceremonies? I am honored to help you with zero judgements, whatsoever.
I officiate an average of thirty weddings per year for couples in venues as diverse as vineyards, plantation homes, breweries and night clubs. I am excited to help make your day as special as possible.

We absolutely adore Rabbi Patrick as our officiant in our secular Jewish wedding. He listened to our stories and crafted a personalized ceremony that captured our essence as a couple perfectly. He has a great sense of humor and personality that put our guests at ease and engaged them in listening to our story. He understood our need to create a wedding with a mixture of Jewish traditions unique to us- we were able to pick and choose what felt authentic to our marriage and our culture/faith moving forward as a family as I am culturally Jewish and my husband is nonreligious from a Christian family. Not only was he flexible but he also educated us, counseled us, and made us feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend him to any mixed faith, secular, or culturally Jewish couple and I am sure he is also good for the more religious as well. Thank you so much, Rabbi Patrick!
