He blew us away and we’ve heard so many compliments from guests about him and the ceremony from our guests of all faiths. Rabbi Offenkrantz led exactly the ceremony we wanted. It felt so grounded in my Jewish faith but was also so accessible to my wife's catholic family.

Rabbi Paul was excellent at our wedding. Both the Ketubah signing and ceremony were extremely professional and engaging. As a reform/interfaith wedding with many non-Jewish guests, the explanations of the traditions and meanings were great and received many compliments afterwards from our guests. Rabbi Paul officiated our wedding in April and we highly recommend his services to any couple looking for an officiant. We do not live in the area and he was very accommodating and met with us multiple times over FaceTime. This was a interfaith, sort of forbidden (Iranian & Israeli) marriage.. From our first meeting, Rabbi Paul instilled confidence that he was the best choice for our interfaith Jewish/Catholic ceremony. He was very flexible, patient, and caring. He was happy to co-officiate the interfaith ceremony and connected us with Reverend Michael Somberg, with whom he had done an interfaith ceremony before. He was amazing at working with reverend before the wedding and together the four of us worked on a unique ceremony that incorporated traditions from both religions that were important to us and our families. During the day of the wedding he even exceeded expectations. Rabbi Offenkrantz was a gem. He scheduled calls with us months prior to our wedding to get to know us better as a couple. He was thorough, detail oriented and kind. The ceremony was reform and he allowed us to customize to our liking. His ceremony explanations were easy to understand, regardless of religion and he added so much meaning the way he conducted the service. He also had my husband and I write letters to one another and we read them as our vows, which was such a meaningful experience that left not one dry eye in the crowd. I am so thankful we had Rabbi Paul as part of our wedding day. Our first virtual meeting we both immediately felt comfort and warmth from him. We had multiple FaceTime meetings leading up where he got to know us and worked out all the details of our ceremony, specific to us as a couple. Our Ketubah ceremony was BEAUTIFUL, some of our family there (including my now husband) say this was their favorite part of our wedding! He did a great job explaining to our guests the meaning behind the Ketubah, chuppah, breaking the glass.. etc. It was all very meaningful to us, and Rabbi Paul also made sure everything would go perfectly and smoothly.

We used Rabbi Paul for our wedding ceremony. He was extremely engaging and made our ketubah signing and ceremony very intimate and special. In the middle of the ceremony, we had a technical issue with the microphone and it went out and even though we were outside, Rabbi Paul proceeded and was heard by everyone. The love letters he had us write was a beautiful touch. Rabbi Paul knows how to make a ceremony and a couple feel special and I would highly recommend him.

We absolutely loved working with Rabbi Paul for our destination wedding in Park City, Utah. We began planning together for this beautiful day by discussing at length all of the details and visions we had from an early start. Rabbi Paul has an excellent approach to customizing your wedding ceremony to incorporate traditions and modern flare. We decided to adapt the traditional circling traditionally done by the bride, in Jewish tradition, to include the bride and groom in this beautiful way that Paul developed with us. Rabbi Paul officiated our wedding last month and working with him was amazing! From the moment we met him he was so warm and made us feel so comfortable with the entire process. I thought that finding an officiant for our special day was going to be difficult as I’m Jewish and my husband is not. And although I’m not orthodox, I grew up observing every Jewish holiday and frequently attending orthodox services. I wanted our wedding ceremony to embrace some of the Jewish tradition but I didn’t want it to dominate the entirety of the ceremony and I wasn’t sure how to find the right balance to make both my husband and I feel comfortable. We were so lucky to find Rabbi Paul and work with him. He was super accommodating and readily available (which was important to us because we were living overseas while planning for our wedding in Miami). He Skyped with us, learned about us, and provided us with examples of several ceremony styles. Rabbi Paul was patient and NOT pushy. He reminded us that the ceremony should be about us and the way that we wanted! He was so accommodating in helping us outline our wedding ceremony and I think what helped the most (and more so for my husband) was that he thoroughly explained the meaning and background for every Jewish tradition we could opt to include in our ceremony. It helped my husband understand the meaning of each element, made him feel comfortable and most importantly, made him feel included in the process. With that said, our wedding ceremony was AMAZING! We felt we had the perfect and most comprehensive combination of tradition mixed into our love story. Rabbi Paul’s fantastic voice, sincere personality, and comical relief (during awkward winds) really had my husband and I caught up in the moment and loving every minute of his beautifully executed performance. Our guests also kept complimenting us on our ceremony and mentioned how it accurately reflected our personalities. Rabbi Paul officiated my wedding ceremony on New Years' eve. However, he was not only there for the wedding but met with myself and my now wife many times over the years. He was always there for us and very responsive to our needs. The ceremony was beautiful and I highly recommend him!

I’ve known Rabbi Paul for quite sometime (as I’m a wedding planner and I’ve used his services for many of my brides) and I knew there would be no one else that could possibly give us the kind of ceremony we desired. We wanted a Jewish ceremony but we aren’t especially religious. We wanted a ceremony that focused on who we are while representing beautiful Jewish traditions. The most special part of the ceremony was our love letters. Rabbi Paul had us each write a love letter to each other and send them only to him—not showing each other or anyone else. He then read each of them to us in front of our friends and family. There wasn’t a dry eye! It was amazing how similar our letters were and it truly made our ceremony more memorable than any I had ever seen—and like I said, I’m also a wedding planner by trade so that’s saying something! So, so many of our guests commented about how beautiful and truly intimate our ceremony was. We even had several guests ask for his info for their own weddings! Thank you for everything, Rabbi Paul!

Rabbi Paul not only conducted the most beautiful ceremony we could have asked for for our wedding on November 11, but made it a memorable and exceptional one for our guests. From our first meeting with him, we were blown away by how personable he is and how open he was to our ideas. I honestly didn't read reviews about Rabbi Paul before our wedding, but now that I offered to write one about him, I am not surprised to see that everyone feels the same way. Simply put, Rabbi Paul Offenkrantz made our ceremony not only beautiful, but exceptional and memorable for all of our guests. The first thing everyone tells me about our wedding was just how beautiful and heart-warming the ceremony was, and I contribute that largely to Rabbi Paul. We had an interfaith wedding with a New York Jewish family and a Costa Rican family. Everyone felt welcome and everyone was touched by the ceremony. We (my Jewish side of the family) are not particularly religious. We are reform for the most part, and Rabbi Paul was able to incorporate beautiful Jewish traditions like the Katubah signing, prayer over the wine, the vows, and wrapping with the Talit wonderfully into our ceremony. Our Katubah signing ceremony in of itself was incredible (and fun) as both of us were blindfolded because my wife and I didn't want to see each other before the ceremony! Rabbi Paul also is a great cantor/singer and I definitely recommend incorporating the singing of prayers into the ceremony. His words of wisdom were touching for everyone. He is a true professional and wonderful Rabbi. I can't thank Rabbi Paul enough for helping to make our wedding the most incredible day of our lives.

Rabbi Paul officiated our interfaith wedding. The moment we met him, my husband and I instantly knew we wanted him to marry us. He provided guidance, warmth, and wisdom and incorporated personal details into our ceremony which made it unforgettable. There wasn't a dry eye in the house. Rabbi Offenkrantz was such a pleasure to work with! My husband and I wanted a traditional Jewish ceremony, and he delivered amazingly, while still keeping it engaging and succinct! Rabbi Paul gave us the most warm and meaningful ceremony we could imagine. We did a destination wedding and he took the time to get to know us by meeting with when we were in town and via skype. I can't say enough about Rabbi Paul. My husband and I knew after our first meeting with him, that this was the Rabbi for us!! We felt like we had known him for years!! He is very friendly and was very willing to take his time to explain the Jewish wedding traditions to me. It was important for me to understand what was going on as, I'm not Jewish. We ended up using Rabbi Paul for both of our ceremonies. Our first wedding was scheduled to happen on the beach with just our immediate family. When the weather turned out to be stormy and too dangerous to be on the beach, he agreed to hold the ceremony in my in-laws house, at the last minute. And when the little nephews were running around screaming and laughing during the ceremony, he simply smiled and continued on. Our second ceremony with friends and family was just as wonderful. This time not only did he deliver yet another lovely ceremony, but we got to hear that beautiful voice of his!! Rabbi Paul is nothing but, professional, helpful, amazing, easy to work with, and a genuinely good person. Should I ever need a Rabbi again, Rabbi Paul is the only Rabbi I will use.

My husband and I are Jewish, but not the most religious couple. We are also writers and wanted to write our own vows. We met with Rabbi Paul two months before the ceremony and he could not have been nicer. He completely customized our ceremony to fit the needs and wants of my husband and I as well as our families. I am Jewish and my husband is not. Neither of us is particularly “religious” but we both consider ourselves to be very spiritual people, and wanted a wedding ceremony that reflected that. We also wanted to make sure that both our families would feel comfortable. Rabbi Paul came to our attention through an enthusiastic referral from some friends who had seen him “in action.” We checked out his website (which we loved!) and gave him a call. There were several things that distinguished him immediately from some other officiants we had spoken with: he didn’t rush us off the phone; he actually listened to our thoughts and concerns; he had many wonderful and creative ideas; and he encouraged us to meet with him in person before making a decision. Watching your daughter get married is truly one of the greatest joys of our lives. Cantor Paul Offenkrantz officiated the marriage of our Nicole and her wonderful husband Gene. It is an interfaith marriage, but the Cantor’s words erased any barriers much like the open sides of the Chuppah for our families to come together in love to celebrate their union. His words spoke to every relationship in the room from Gene’s grandparents married 65 years, to us Nicole’s parents married 40 years, to the newlywed couples. His words especially, touched the teary-eyed bride and groom in front of him whom he had invited to hold each other’s hands in turn and see “the incredible gift they are to you.” Thank you Cantor for sending off our Nicole and Gene with thoughtful beautiful words to take care of each other’s “fragile hearts” symbolized by the breaking of the glass. My husband and I had an interfaith ceremony. Paul was very helpful in bringing both traditions in. He spoke clearly, was well organized & did a beautiful job explaining all the ceremony elements from Chuppah to the marriage blessing. He did a great job explaining the Ketubah. He asked everyone in the room to say a little something about the bride and groom after the Ketubah was signed, it was a very sweet moment we shared with our bridal party and parents before we walked down the aisle. We had a special request and asked Paul to sing the first processional song. He gladly accepted and it was truly the highlight of the evening. What a voice! If you decide to hire him, please consider having him sing for you, he is incredible.
