About this vendor
I’m a Seattle-based wedding and boudoir photographer, serving couples in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. My work is rooted in presence, purpose, and a deep reverence for love in all its forms. I believe that every couple’s story is sacred, and it’s my honor to capture the emotion, beauty, and connection that make your wedding day truly yours.
My style is timeless, romantic, and artfully modern, designed for couples who value intentional imagery and want more than just pretty pictures. I work best with those who trust in the process, who see photography as an investment, and who want to feel truly seen on their wedding day.
I bring a spiritual sensitivity to the way I document each moment, creating space for real emotion and energy to unfold naturally. Whether I’m photographing your ceremony, an intimate boudoir session, or stolen moments in golden light, I approach every frame with care, creativity, and heart.
If you’re drawn to meaningful, elegant, and soulful imagery, I’d love to connect and create something beautiful together.

I had recently become engaged and started looking on where to take engagement photos. I came across a photo in a little Western town. I clicked on it and it led me to Rachael’s Ins...
tagram. As I was scrolling through, I fell in love with her style. I sent Rachael an email and she responded quick. She sent me a welcome package and told me we could set up a call. She called following day and went through everything with me. She also got to know me a bit, and our engagement story. After the call I came downstairs and my husband asked who I was talking to, I told him Rachael. He thought I was on the phone with a friend because of how the conversation went. From the phone call to the engagement shoot she was with me every step of the way. She helped with location and wardrobe. Any time I needed her, she was there. We aren’t the easiest couple. Super goofy, a little shy, and had no clue what we were doing. OH! And we brought our dogs to be in the shoot. She had our favorite music playing and was very patient. She was also EXCEPTIONAL at giving direction on how to pose and making us feel so comfortable. Also very accommodating with our dogs.
We knew we needed to use her for our wedding. Initially we were going to have a big wedding but ended up deciding to elope in Wyoming. I was so nervous to call Rachael and let her know that we were changing the plans. I was scared she would say no, because my heart was set on her being our photographer. I made the call, and Rachael said she would still be on board! We were elated. Once again, every step of the way Rachael was there. It didn’t matter when I would call or text. She responded quickly. Once we got to Wyoming she made sure that we saw the location so she could scout it out. She also found us a few other spots to take photos at. She rolled with all of the punches and challenges that we faced. About a year later I found out I was pregnant. I KNEW I had to have Rachael take our maternity photos. She now splits her time between San Diego and Arkansas. The only thing keeping me from jumping on a flight there to have her take our photos, was I was pregnant. I reached out to her and was lucky enough to catch her while she was here in San Diego. I was against maternity photos. I wasn’t feeling the best or looking the best. But against my own negative self and trust in Rachael, we did the photos. During the whole shoot, she made me feel beautiful and confident. I cried when I received the photos. See. Not only does Rachael capture images of you. She does much, much more than that. She captures who you are. And through the photos you receive.. they speak volume. That is a rare talent to be able to do that. In my opinion. My favorite comment from people who see our photos, is not only how beautiful they are. But that you can see and feel our personalities. I didn’t know when hiring Rachael I would get more than a photographer. I got a planner, a stylist, a cheerleader, to name a few, and most of all.. a friend. Thank you for making us feel so comfortable with you and capturing us. Our photos are beyond measure and more than I could have ever asked for. If you have stumbled upon my review, looking for a photographer. Please stop the search and reach out to Rachael. You will absolutely NOT be disappointed and I promise you, you cannot find anyone better than Rachael. You will forever cherish and love the photos you receive. Her craftsmanship, work ethic, and dedication is unmeasurable.
Rachael was the photographer for my engagement session and wedding, and I couldn’t be any happier with my decision. I found her work through my venues instagram, fell in love with ...
her photos, and contacted her.
For our engagement session, my husband and I were excited and nervous as we had never had professional photos taken together. Rachael played our favorite genre of music to help ease the nerves, walked us through different poses, and has a way about her that made us feel comfortable to be our authentic selves as a couple while photographed. It was such a positive and fun experience!
For our wedding, Rachael traveled to three different locations to capture the day. She did not miss a thing and captured EVERY moment! She provided SO many sneak peaks and our photos turned out BEAUTIFUL. I could go on for days…
Overall, Rachael is professional, talented, and most importantly, is someone you want there for you on your BIG day. Her personality and presence are unmatched.
Long story short: HIRE RACHAEL. Hard stop. But since I can’t say enough about Rachael… I will tell you why! I was one of the “lucky” COVID brides. Postponed wedding, moved date wha...
t seemed like a million times, lost our original photographer, etc etc. BUT as we are all learning, everything happens for a reason. My husband and I ended up eloping but planned on having a backyard party to celebrate our mariage. We wanted to capture this special celebration, so we were back to the drawing board on hiring a photographer. My college teammate actually used Rachael for her wedding AND WOW, the most stunning photos I have ever seen so she was my first inquiry. Thank the Lord that Rachael was available. She became my BFF right away as I know she has this beautiful connection with all of her clients. We did an engagement shoot to get comfortable with each other and it was a blast. My husband and I are so awkward in front of a camera and posing, but Rachael literally makes it so fun and shows you how to rock the camera for every snap. Our “wedding” photos were seriously insane. I told Rachael she would be my photographer for life… capturing all of our milestones. Sure enough, when I told her we were pregnant SHE FLEW across the country to take our maternity photos. Rachael is fun, kind, creative, talented, makes you feel strong/sexy/beautiful ALL THE DANG THINGS. She has become one of my favorite people and I know if you hire her, she will become a huge part of your story too.
Rachael did my sister-in-laws wedding and after I saw how amazing her engagement/wedding pictures turned out, I knew I had to reach out and book her for my own wedding. She was th...
e first person I contacted! Rachael was beyond helpful and made my husband and I feel so comfortable. I can honestly say that Rachael went beyond our expectations. I have continuously reached out to Rachael for all of our photography needs. Racheal was very responsive whenever I reached out to her and was very helpful. If you are looking to get married, HIRE HER, you will not be sorry.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I've been a part of many weddings as a bridesmaid and I have second-shot many weddings as well so I know how important picking the right photographer is since the...
y are with you a large portion of the day. If I had to do my wedding all over again, Rachael would be one of the first vendors I would hire mainly for two reasons - 1) She was GOOD energy! She exuded a genuine interest in getting the right shots and making sure I was happy. We were battling a lot of wind and some last minute itinerary changes - and she rolled with it wonderfully. She had a big job to do but wasn't overly stressed or wound tight because of it. Instead she was easy-going but provided the right amount structure. She never over-posed us or made us be inauthentic. I really felt like I had my friends (her and her second shooter, Morgan) photographing me/us on the wedding day. She was able to have a sense of humor and fun while getting the job done and working efficiently. 2) The quality of the images and the types of images - *chef's kiss*. I am very picky when it comes to photography and I had a certain aesthetic and vibe in mind when I imagined our pictures - Rachael nailed it. She captured so many wonderful candids as well as just the overall vibe of the day. When I looked at our photos I got the overwhelming sense that she poured a lot of love and care into editing each picture. The color, contrast, saturation, exposure, grain, etc. seems to be so perfected in each picture.
Overall, because of her personality and talent I would highly recommend Rachael for anyone's special event! Thank you, Rachael!
Rachael is the best ever ! She is everything and more in what you’re looking for as a photographer and person ! She captured us beautifully her work truly speaks for itself . We wi...
ll definitely be booking with her again .
Do not look anywhere else!! Rachael is awesome. She is super responsive and her work was beyond my expectations. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer!
I was hesitant on booking a boudoir at first cause I have never done one. But when I talked to Rachael she made me more and more comfortable! She gave me all the tips and advice on...
what to do, how to pose, where to put my hands. She was amazing! She made it fun and exciting and the pictures came out STUNNING. I never liked my body too much but she made me LOVE it in these pictures. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
Rachael was super nice from the get go, really loved her work and think she is talented. However, my fiance and I signed a contract with her for only 2 weeks and decided to cancel ...
our big wedding and go a different route with an elopement package elsewhere. When we kindly asked for a refund (since it was 2 years in advance) she refused despite no work having been done besides a phone call. Additionally, she had not actually signed the contract until I sent an email to notify her of our change of plans and kindly requested a refund OR even a partial refund. I get that alot of work goes into planning these events, but two years in advance with zero work and no executed contact signed by both parties was in my opinion inconsiderate, greedy, and sneaky. Almost felt like a robbery.
Working with Rachael was absolutely effortless and enjoyable. My husband and I were not excited to take photos because we're incredibly awkward and goofy. Rachael made it so natura...
l and easy. Once it actually came to our wedding photos it was so comfortable and organized. She takes control of your wedding party when necessary (trust me, very necessary for mine), and had a plan the whole way through. She even helped me with my timeline for the wedding.
I was one of those people who didn't want to do the engagement photos, because I thought why it's a waste and I'd rather just take that away and have a cheaper price, but it was worth it and is needed. We developed a relationship and bond to where we were able to feel comfortable with her and her taking photos of us. I now believe without the engagement photos, the wedding day photos would have been awkward and unenjoyable. There is a reason this is apart of the package and you can't skip or take away for a cheaper price! Rachael is absolutely worth the money and I would and will recommend her to everyone. She's so sweet and so much fun. All of this, and the photos were ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and were EXACTLY what I wanted. I couldn't ask for anything more, she is incredible. Seriously, book her.
I stumbled upon Rachael I think via Instagram. Her work is just amazing, both her wedding photography and her boudoir. I originally booked her for last year but due to the pandemic...
had to push back my session not once but twice. Did she ever complain? NO. She was so sweet and thoughtful! She pushed back payments too to help me out. *FYI I’m not even done close to explaining how amazing she is* lol From countless emails back and forth and some texts, I swore I felt like we were friends already. She makes you feel so welcoming and so relaxed. Fast forward to boudoir day!! I’ve done this but very premature. Never professional so I was a little hesitant especially not being comfortable in my own skin, but who is? Rachael went above and beyond! I mean BEYOND!!!!!! She literally had champagne, some cheese and fruit for this. How sweet!!! There was a makeup artist that we had the option to use, hella worth the money, and ladies GET YOUR MAKEUP DONE!!!! Rachael helped demonstrate how to pose and how to just have fun with this! The fact she has a designated room for this is awesome! Rachael is the hype QUEEN while photographing you. I ended up getting sneak peeks and I thought, “wow!! These are all I need but I know we took more” aha The book the pics came in is completely beautiful! She helps with the layout of the pics, that you the client gets to choose, for the book. If I didn’t already have a wedding photographer, I would have hired her on the spot. She is a great photographer but an awesome person/friend. I would love to have her take more photos of either just me or fun ones with my husband and hopefully kids. Thanks Rachael!
Rachael is everything I imagined for my wedding day photographer and so much more. Ours was one of the many weddings that fell apart due to the pandemic. We postponed once right as...
the pandemic and closures had begun (completely unsure of when life would really return to “normal”) and then again 5 months later. We decided at that point we just wanted to have a beautiful small & personal elopement at Yosemite National Park. Since the beginning Rachael was nothing but understanding and amazing. She talked us through all the pros & cons and gave us her honest opinions on each route we were considering. She went completely above and beyond to make our elopement a reality and graciously made hours of driving through the park seem like not such a big deal (after my husband accidentally missed a critical turn). We made it to our last destination just in time and Rachael worked quickly and deliberately, literally racing the sunset to get all the photos we were dying to capture. In addition to all the positive experiences we had with Rachael during these trying circumstances, she is such a fun and friendly person to be around. You might think or feel awkward posing for photos (like we did), but she truly knows what she’s doing! She will make you look like a complete professional and is so creative with the photos she wants to capture. We’re forever going to treasure the photos and memories she captured for us on our special day.
Rachael is more than just a wedding photographer, she creates and provides the best experience that truly creates a meaningful bond! We were fortunate to meet Rachael at my friend’...
s wedding and knew we had to have her capture our’s! She photographed our engagement, boudoir, and our wedding day. Words can’t even explain how incredible and happy we are with all of our photos! Rachael is SO fun and makes you feel so comfortable and natural! She captures the raw emotion, love, and joy in every single picture. Do yourself a favor and book with her! She is all around AMAZING!
From the quality of the pictures, to her personality and how comfortable she made us feel for our engagement pictures and our wedding day, no other photographer even comes close! S...
he took the time out of her birthday to come and do our wedding, and that meant the world to us. She took the best pictures with the best angles, and her editing is stunning! We could not be any happier with how it all turned out. Can not wait to use Racheal again for future family photo sessions!
I found Rachael on social media months before I started to plan my wedding. I loved the comments she posted about the couples she photographs and how each photo she posted you coul...
d truly see and feel each couples personality. Her editing style is sultry but soft. She captures light and juxtaposition in the most artistic fashion. She is self taught and has a true photographers eye. I scheduled a Boudoir photoshoot with Rachael first. She made me feel so comfortable to be in front of the camera, directing each pose to perfection. I couldn’t believe the goddess in those photos was me! I immediately asked if she would be willing to shoot our wedding as well. Her package at the time, which I found to be extremely fairly priced for the quality of work, included an engagement photoshoot as well. My husband is very camera shy and Rachael knew exactly how to make him participate without feeling awkward. For our wedding I cannot boast enough about Rachel's professionalism. We had several challenging obstacles on our wedding day, including an MIA wedding planner. Rachael stepped in right away to keep us punctual and made the day run smoothly. When she sent me our photo gallery from the wedding, I cried because I felt like I was reliving each special moment over again. I will cherish these photos forever. Amidst all the change in 2020, we got pregnant and Rachael offered to do a free maternity photoshoot for us. I once again felt like a goddess with a much larger belly. We’ve worked with Rachael in several different settings, from parks to open fields, beaches, and indoor venues and she really knows how work with the space. Rachael is punctual, meets each deadline she tells her clients, has an infectious personality and her professionalism goes a long way. I look forward to working with her for our newborn photos and family photos in the future. I cannot recommend this talented artisit enough.
Working with Rachael was a dream! I somehow stumbled upon her while searching for wedding photographers in San Diego and glad I did. I had spoken with another photographer before f...
inding her and the experience was completely different. The first photographer had quite the chip on her shoulder, so things ended up not working out. However, that was absolutely a blessing in disguise because it was the complete opposite with Rachael. She was friendly, down to earth, and a pleasure to be around. I’m a bit awkward, so it was important to me to find a photographer that could provide some direction/pose me a bit. I didn’t want to look like a weirdo in all my wedding photos. Hahaha. Plans changed so we ended up eloping in Maui instead of San Diego and although it was her first time shooting there, she killed it. The whole process was enjoyable, time flew by quickly, and we loved our photos! If you’re looking for a great photographer that not only is talented, but also fun to be around, then Rachael is your gal! She also does boudoir shoots and I definitely plan on doing one with her once I get leaner again. Lol.
When booking a wedding photographer I went based off of whose style I loved the most. As soon as I booked Rachael, I quickly realized she goes above and beyond! She was absolutely ...
incredible from the very first meeting and it hasn’t stopped! The first meeting was over FaceTime (due to distance) and she spent over an hour taking us through everything! She was so kind and professional! She went through her look books, pricing options, packages, what to expect, what to look for in photographers, etc!! We booked her two years in advance! That’s how badly we knew we wanted her! Fast forward to engagement shoot and this was our first meeting in person! Prior to the shoot we discussed the location, timing, etc! She spent the time to send mood boards of different outfit ideas she felt would photograph well in the setting as well as on me (what other photographer does that?!). Meeting for the first time it was like we had been friends for years! She instantly made us feel so loved and comfortable! She really is so talented at what she does! Our engagement shoot was about an hour and we received over 100 beautifully edited photos! (I didn’t know my man and I could looks so good!!). When it came closer to the wedding, she spent so much time developing a photography timeline, and created a list of every photo I wanted that was important to my husband and I. Day of the wedding her and her second shooter showed up looking so professional! As soon as they arrived they got to work taking detail shots. I had quite a tough timeline due to being adamant about not doing a first look and different locations for ceremony and reception and they handled it all with ease! They made sure everything on their end was taken care of to get the best pictures! Every single photo taken was BEAUTIFUL! What I loved most is they got so many candid shots of my husband and I as well as our guests! We love that we have photos of our friends and family enjoying our special day just as much as we did! We booked Rachael for 13 hours and she worked hard and amazingly through it all! I had absolutely no worry about our photos because I trust her completely! She is more than just a photographer to us but she also became our friend!! We love Rachael and you would be HONORED to have her photographer your wedding day!
Rachael is such a gifted photographer and exceptional person; I can't imagine anyone else chronicling my wedding day. In our initial email correspondences she was ebullient and war...
m yet real. She was a great listener and receptive to my many anxieties and particular demands. On the wedding day she helped me and my family feel comfortable during the potentially awkward ritual of posing for photos. She was professional and lovely; her presence genuinely improved the day instead of feeling like an imposition. The photos themselves make me so happy. She captured genuine emotion -- not just cheesy poses -- while making us look good! Perceptive, artistic, and relentless, she captured not just the night's attendees and happenings but also the energy and feeling in the room. Most importantly to me, the photos feel like us. Rachael is a dream, every interaction we had made me feel calm and confident in her abilities and desperate to be her friend. Hire her, you won't regret it!
Let me count the MILLION ways Rachael made our engagement session/ wedding one of the best days of our lives. She arrived on time to both occasions and ready to shoot. She is polit...
e, kind, and has a lets get this done attitude. She talks to you like a friend and wants to know what your dream pictures consist of and makes them happen. She puts all of her efforts and passion into making you feel like YOU matter. We had a particularly uncomfortable falling out with another photographer previously due to them not being forthcoming about pricing. The moment I found Rachael via The Knot and contacted her she was an open book, she made time to speak to us (my husband and I) later in the day due to our work schedules. We spoke freely with her about money, our vision, and expectations. She's just a real person looking to fulfill her passion and get to know you and your vision for the most important events of your life. I will be using Rachael for any future photography needs and you should to.
Rachael, thank you for restoring my faith in people who love what they do. You're DA REAL MVP!
The search is over, Rachael is your girl!! I knew from the very get go that I wanted Rachael to be our girl. I was looking for someone’s work who was warm, timeless, and romantic.....
and she is just that. She walked us through the whole process, and made everything easy for both my hubby and I. I was afraid to be awkward but she made everything so easy throughout the shoot. This was our first photo shoot, and it definitely will not be our last. 2020 we will be booking with Rachael again, except this time a family shoot. I fell in love with our pictures, and they’re something we can have and cherish forever. Rachael, you are the sweetest, warmest, and most uplifting woman.. we’re thankful for you. Thank you x’s a million!!!

et and things we like to do together (i.e. coffee shops and breweries). Our first meeting was at a brewery and she made us feel so blessed to have chosen her as our photographer.
Photographer is so much more than a job for Rachael-- her talent and passion for photography shines through. Its so clear that she cares about each and every couple she works with. Her pictures are SO SO SO magical and will leave you speechless and wanting so much more. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, even giving us both new alter egos. Rachael seriously captured every moment so perfectly-- she is not just talented but has a heart of gold. Its hard to put into words how much we love our pictures and how thankful we are for have chosen Rachael to capture our engagement and wedding day. Her work has given us incredible pictures that will be treasured forever.
I don't even know where to begin on how much I adore Rachael. I think one of the closest things to real magic I've seen in this world is through her photography. I was following h...
er on Instagram before I even got engaged, and something inside just told me that she would be the one to take on my wedding.
I was entranced from the moment she messaged me back. She was so real and so inviting. So warm. My now-husband and I met her for coffee and the rest was history. We're very shy and introverted people, but Rachael brought us out of our shells. I wasn't even nervous about the engagement shoot because I knew she would bring out the best in us. I still love looking at those engagement pictures and tear up because she so perfectly captured our love. She's hard at work editing our wedding photos right now and I just know we're going to feel that same magic when we see the final photos. The teasers she's provided are already majorly cherished by us.
Rachael if you're reading this: I'm low-key obsessed with you and want to plan a million other photoshoots so I can keep you in our lives. I'm already looking forward to one of your famous and incredible boudoir shoots in the future! xoxo
Long story short: message Rachael right now! Go!

comodating! One of the things I loved most about Rachael was how quick she always was to respond. She helped me come up with a schedule for our wedding day to help things run smoothly and ensure that I got ALL of the pictures that I wanted. All of the pictures are perfect. Her editing style is exactly what we wanted and she delivered. She is great about keeping to her contract and keeping you updated. If you have the chance to work with Rachael, DO IT!! You won’t be sorry! Rachael is the perfect person to capture all the special moments in your life.

s with Rachael! She’s so down to earth and incredible to communicate with! She responds so quickly! She is such a joy to work with. My husband and I are pretty laid back with super sarcastic sense on humor. Rachael fit in with us perfectly! She made us feel like we were best friends right away! She’s not shy and she’ll guide you into getting every perfect picture! Day of our wedding I had some family drama (who doesn’t) and she was so amazing at capturing the people who bring me joy and leaving out the ones who don’t. I know it may sound harsh, but for me, I couldn’t be happier. I truly can’t say enough amazing things about her! She style is beautiful and moody and was just what I wanted. I can’t stop looking at our photos. She’s went above and beyond. Absolutely amazing!
Rachael Marie was a dream to work with for our engagement and wedding photography. When first meeting with Rachael for our engagement photos, we knew we made the right choice! She ...
is so calm and has such a positive energy about her. We had never taken professional pictures before, so my Husband and I were both a bit nervous and she eased our nerves and the pictures turned out perfect! She does such an amazing job at capturing candid moments and has such a good eye for finding that perfect shot. Our photos are so beautiful that I get teary eyed when looking at them. Further, she was extremely professional and fun to work with. Throughout the planning process, Rachael was easy to work with and provided feedback on our timeline and plans. She also helped keep us on schedule the day of, which saved the day. Extremely organized, and not once did I ever feel rushed. We had an outdoor wedding, and an indoor reception. She was able to capture the beautiful outdoor sunshine and natural setting, the surreal sunset, and then the bright lights of the dance floor. Her moody, romantic pictures that she captured, were exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend Rachael and cant thank her enough for capturing the best day of our lives in such an amazing way. Rachael is absolutely incredible!

eep a schedule/timeline and Rachael adhered perfectly to it- and even assisted in helping me make the perfect day-of timeline! She made me feel so comfortable and confident on my special day even adding in humor/laughter to keep me calm and happy! My now husband has always been camera shy but clicked with Rachael immediately. She helped him open up and captured the most amazing photos showing our love and personalities perfectly. She is astonishingly also able to adapt to people and environments! I highly recommend Rachael Marie!
Words cannot describe this woman.. She went above and beyond my idea of a photographer. She is relational and loves to connect with her clients.. which made it so easy for us to be...
comfortable with her because we have no idea how to pose or look photogenic, i mean it can be awkward for me and my husband to take pictures but she helped us each step of the way! She was able to capture our story and the pictures that she delivered took me back to our special day which was such a gift. You will love her!
Rachael was so flexible with us. We had a couple hiccups before our wedding day and she just rolled with it. She is with you every step of the way from the moment you hire her. She has now become a special friend! She has such a special place in my heart.
Not only did she do our wedding photos, she did our engagement as well. I loved her touch to our photos. She has a great eye for capturing our love in a way we have never seen it before.
And finally, she did my BOUDOIR photos. It was great gift for my husband.. he absolutely loved it and thought that I was a MODEL! I embraced every photo and thought woah! ooouuuu thats me?? There was a hidden beauty and a different side of me that Rachael was able to reveal. She is so much more than a photographer. It was like she restored value.
Look no further. Hire her. She will not disappoint.
Can't wait for our family portraits when have a little one down the road!
Rachael travelled to Oklahoma for my photography and she is absolutely AMAZING! I was looking for the “moody” style photography for our engagement and wedding photos and she exceed...
ed my expectations completely!! Our engagement shoot was so fun and laid back and Rachael made us feel so comfortable and they were stunning! On our wedding day Rachael captured all the intimate moments and when things went wrong she rolled with the punches and kept doing her thing. Our wedding photos came back and the were absolutely PERFECT!!! I also did a Boudoir shoot and I was extremely nervous before but OMG Rachael made me feel so comfortable and when I she showed me some of the photos I felt a lot more confident! When I got them back to pick some of the photos for my book to give to my husband on our wedding day I felt so beautiful and couldn’t believe I was the person in the photo!!! Rachael is an amazing person, very professional, very caring in what her “clients” want but at the end of it all she will be your BFF, and she puts in A LOT of time and works extremely HARD and it shows through her work!!!! Our picture turn around time was QUICK! And she is super good about posting sneak peeks on social media!!!! I would definitely recommend her for all your photography needs!!!!!
Rachael is seriously the best photographer you can find. I'm not joking. My husband and I had done a previous photoshoot and were so disappointed with how things turned out. After ...
finding Rachael through a friends recommendation by Instagram, I fell in love with her photos! The attention to detail and posing was extremely important to me. Not only was Rachael so so cool to "hang out" with during the shoot (because that's what it felt like) but she really took ALL the pressure off when it came to what poses to do, where to look, and making sure everything is in place (hair, dress, jewelry, etc.). OMG and when you hire her (because you should), the teasers she shares on Instagram will make you squeal with excitement for you to get your photos! I can't tell you how many times I would stalk her Instagram feed to see those previews! It's an amazing feeling to know that not only were you able to have fun and relax during the photoshoot with her, but you are also going to get KICK ASS photos in the end. If you're looking for photographers, STOP. Just hire Rachael and you'll be so so glad you did.

bsolutely breathtaking and beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of! Boudoir shoot...OMG I have never felt more beautiful and comfortable in my own skin! Rachael is phenomenal! She is so professional but still makes you want to be her best friend at the same time! My husband makes fun of me because I told him after we met with her that I wanted us to be BFFs! She is so sweet and down to earth and truly wants to capture every moment that is most important to you! She was always available to answer any questions we had. Our picture turn around time... SPEEDY! It was so much fun to relive our Big Day with the amazing moments she captured. She captured anywhere from the sweetest first look I had with my dad to the crazy congo line my best friends and I formed on the dance floor. She was my favorite vendor I had at the wedding. One of my favorite things was how much she got to know Chad and I and what we wanted our photos to say about us. She captured the silliness of our engagement to the sexy of my boudoir and the true love that we will be able to show our kids and grandkids one day. I will DEFINITELY be using her to capture all the sweet moments life has to offer in the future.
Rachael Marie was a dream! Her pictures are so gorgeous. She captures the emotion of the moment and they are so organic! I am so glad I booked her. I will definitely be booking her...

ael is truly incredible! Rachael is not only professional but personable. She has a way of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera no matter how awkward you might think you are. Rachael walks you through every step of the shoot - from the poses to fixing your hair. I’ve had the pleasure of having Rachael capture precious moments in my life three times: engagement, wedding, and a boudoir session (definitely do this, an unforgettable experience). Each time, I was in awe of the photos I received. A truly talented photographer. I look forward to having Rachael capture the next milestone in my life, no one I trust more behind the camera!

st time, I knew she was my girl. She is so passionate about her work and loves to capture the true moments, not just staged poses. Shooting with her was a breeze. Both my husband and I were nervous for our engagement shoot, since we had never done a photo shoot before, but Rachael put us right to ease. We basically just sacred our goofy selves and she created such beautiful artwork for it. She made both of us feel so comfortable and explained how we should pose and move to get the shots we wanted. She got to know us and how we interact with each other. When our wedding day rolled around, it was even easier since we had gotten to know Rachael from our engagement shoot. We didn’t even see her most of the night as she was capturing the moments (moving around like a ninja, lol)! Rachael is absolutely amazing. She is very easy to get along with and talk to... we clicked instantly. She is an AMAZING artist and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer who captures the true memories of your big day.
I don’t even know where to begin to explain how incredibly perfect Rachael is at her profession, she is a true artist. My fiancé and I live far away from where Rachael is located, ...
but we absolutely fell in love with Rachael’s portfolio and decide to schedule and meet with Rachael via FaceTime and then shortly after for an engagement session-from the moment we ended our first conversation, we knew she was “the one”. I know you may be thinking how crazy to think that, but besides your soon to be husband/wife, your photographer is next in line of importance on your big day. This is the person who captures your intimate moments and loving gestures, you yourself may not ever see from an outside perspective, the person who captures the most important moments of your life, ones you pass down to your children and grandchildren, and choosing Rachael was the best decision we ever made. Not only are the photographs just to die for, literally bringing you to happy tears when you reminisce, but the entire experience was unforgettable! As a bride who wanted something so small and intimate as an elopement, I was extremely worried about the horror of an intrusive photographer, ruining the romanticism of our elopement ceremony, but Rachael was invisible, so much so, we even had a deer (highly skittish) approach during our ceremony! She is so personable, professional, accommodating, supportive and truly just blends in everywhere and with everyone! From our engagement shoot, to my boudoir session, our elopement session and even our intimate couples session as Mr & Mrs, Rachael was just hands down incredible. There is no review that could do her and her photography enough justice or give enough praise, so just schedule with her and see for yourself! It will be the best decision you’ve ever made!!!!

ng pictures taken. From the first meeting, Rachael made us feel so comfortable and at ease. No awkward poses or unnatural smiles, only us doing our thing with perfect prompting and staging. I am in awe of the magic she has captured. From our engagement, my boudoir shoot, to the wedding, and our couples boudoir shoot, every step was perfect. She is quick to respond, incredibly easy going and friendly, very talented, and extremely reasonably priced. I will recommend her to everyone I know! Endless praise. I will treasure these pictures forever. They are perfect, and no one else could have done better.

abundantly. Her photos are truly remarkable and she is a genius in her field. In addition to her superb photography, she is professional, prompt, accommodating and has an excellent personality. I viewed her as an extension to our family during our celebration. She was on top of everything and captured our wedding beautifully but not once seemed in the way of an intimate moment, which is important. I strong encourage all brides to move quick on booking her before she is taken... and don’t forget to do a boudoir session too. You won’t regret it!
After a while of searching for the perfect photographer and not being successful, my mom referred me to Rachael, a previous co-worker, my mom talked so highly of her so we decided ...
to give her a try. We had no clue what to expect, but after we had our initial meeting with Rachael, we knew she was the one that we wanted to photograph the most important day of our life. She was beautiful, upbeat, funny, honest, and yet professional all the qualities we were looking for. She started off by doing our Engagement Photos, and they were breathtaking. I love how she is able to get the most natural photo that is full of life and love. To this day I still look at my wedding photos and I am so in love. She captured the biggest day of our lives in the perfect way. I just love every one! She even referred us to our florist and videographer which were both amazing! We love you Rachael, thank you for giving us the most amazing photos that we can cherish forever.

Everything we expected them to be but MORE! What i Loved most about Rachel is that she is very involved, she will tell you what works and what dosen’t , she is like the mirror you wish you had during a photoshoot. I trusted everything she said and she did not fail me ! She takes pride in what she does and it shines through into her photos, and that is KEY when looking for and selecting the right photographer for you. She offers sessions ranging from senior pictures to anything as intimate as boudoir or marriage shoots. Please do yourself the favor and book with her , you will not regret it (:

ples, graduation, and boudoir. Because Rachael is a local to the San Diego area, she knows all of the best spots to have as an amazing back drop for your shoot. Rachael is kind, sweet, and knows what she is doing behind the camera. She did a gorgeous couples shoot for my husband and me at a wilderness park in San Diego. We went to three different locations to get a variety of pictures. She made us feel comfortable and helped guide us through different poses and made the whole process feel natural and not rushed. Because of my photoshoot, I have found a great friend in Rachael. I can’t wait to book my next shoot with her!

e beginning. We are totally in love with both our engagement and wedding photos. We were a bit nervous at first because we'd never had someone we didn't know photographing such intimate photos, but from the beginning we felt so comfortable and felt like we'd known her forever!
