Rachael was a dream to work with and a highlight of our April 2023 wedding weekend in FL. Not only did she capture the weekend perfectly with her stunning photographs, but she was so easy to work with from the minute we spoke for the first time through delivering the final product. Rachael is such a professional and puts her clients and their families at ease. You can tell how much she cares about her clients. I have nothing but positive feedback and feel so lucky to have worked with her for our wedding.

Rachael photographed our engagement photos and our wedding in January 2023 and she is absolutely phenomenal! We had to reschedule our wedding from 2022 to 2023 and she was such a gem throughout the entire process while being extremely easy to work with. She is an insanely talented photographer who makes you and all your guests feel so comfortable around her. Our guests continue to compliment how amazing she (and her team) were the whole night and their positive energy led to every single person feeling comfortable and confident in their presence...and it shows in the photos! She goes above and beyond in sending over timelines and day of preparations while just being someone wonderful to be around. I cannot recommend her enough!!

Rachael is more than a photographer. She’s your friend. From my high school senior photos to shooting my fiancé and I’s engagement photos in Clearwater this year (and gave us a family photo shoot). Rachael is the BEST! My husband and I got married in October 2022 and loved working with her for the wedding and engagement photo session. She is incredibly creative and captured so many unique shots at both events. She was so helpful during the planning stages with amazing attention to detail when it came to the shot list, timely communication, and organization (something a type-A bride very much appreciated). Aside from demonstrating every positive quality you could ask for in a wedding photographer, she is also a stellar human being. She was a blast to work with and get to know. We used Rachael for our wedding in 2021 and ended up having a baby for the sole purpose of working with her again. Rachael Osborn Photography is AMAZING, if Rachael is available for your date, stop now and hire her! I can’t possibly convey in words how thankful I am that Rachel was our wedding photographer. She was an absolute DREAM to work with and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how our engagement and wedding photos turned out. Our friends have since hired her for their wedding and we are excited to see her again! When choosing our wedding vendors, photography was always one of my top priorities, even more so given the covid pandemic related challenges impacting weddings. I initially found Rachael through a vendor search on The Knot and was impressed with the excellent reviews I saw. My husband and I loved our initial consultation call with Rachael, she was extremely friendly, calm, and super organized. She walked us through how she approaches each wedding day from the way she prepares in the months/weeks leading up to the big day, to contingency planning for weather, and how she stores and backups up all the photos. The galleries she sent as examples were so beautiful, they brought me to tears. My husband said “If you don’t even know these people and these photos have touched you so much then why would we look an further, we need to hire Rachael for our wedding.” Wedding planning was stressful for me, but every interaction with Rachael was so easy and she always set me at ease and supported/cheered me along while offering to help in any way she could. Her communication is awesome, she’s quick to answer questions and always keeps her out of office notifications updated if she’s traveling to let you know when to expect a response and how to reach her for emergencies. She also had great recommendations for other wedding vendors based on her experience in the industry. Rachael is extremely organized and made sure she had a complete list of all the combinations of family/wedding party/friend group photos we wanted for the day. Aside from specific family groupings, we didn’t request a detailed list of photos because we had the utmost faith that she would use her artistic ability to capture the day and our guests. We have no regrets, she nailed it! My husband and I were nervous before our engagement session, but she quickly set us at ease. Our engagement session felt more like a fun conversation with a friend vs. a photo shoot and we couldn’t be more excited with how the pictures turned out, they are gorgeous and really capture our authentic selves. On our wedding day I was so excited to see Rachael and we loved spending the day with her and her 2nd shooter, it was like having two bonus friends along for the ride. Rachael is excellent at sticking to a timeline, but in a way that makes it feel like the whole day is flowing naturally instead of a rigid march from event to event or picture to picture. Our ceremony ran long, and we ended up starting pictures late, but Rachel was able to catch up our timeline without cutting any shots or making us feel rushed. When she hugged me goodbye at the end of the night I was holding back tears because I didn’t want our time with her to be over. I highly recommend Rachael, hiring her our best decision! We fall more and more in love with our photos every time we look at them and have received countless compliments on our photos. Thank you for capturing our wedding day so perfectly Rachael!

Best wedding decision hands down! Anyone that has endeavored wedding planning knows how swiftly decision fatigue can start to set in. Brian and I talked with several other photographers and it was not until we talked with Rachael that we felt truly excited for photos. Our initial meeting with Rachael was easy going and conversational, just like talking with a friend, while most of the others felt like we were leading a business call or an interview. From the first engagement photo through delivery of our wedding album, Rachael was an ABSOLUTE ROCKSTAR. Her talent and creativity shine through, but just as importantly, she has the best attitude, is so organized every step of the way, and does not miss a beat. She was paramount in helping make sure our day went smoothly and stepped in on several occasions where assistance or reassurance was needed, going above and beyond her role as photographer. We can't emphasize that enough. It was so apparent that Brian and I were her sole focus for the day. Anytime a guest wanted to snap a pic on their phone, Rachael (and shoutout to second shooter, Sonce Landa!) were there right behind them to capture the photo perfectly. She followed through on all timelines and her communication throughout the entire process was open, honest, and professional. Rachael was the best decision we made for our May 2022 wedding! From our very first phone call, we clicked - She is sweet, fun, and a great listener. You spend your entire wedding day with your photographer, and Rachael (who always has a positive attitude) is a pro at making everyone laugh and feel comfortable. She had great tips for taking good pictures, and even carries around a makeup kit for touch-ups - She's essentially an extra bridesmaid! It goes without saying, but Rachael's pictures are stunning - Both our engagement and wedding albums are vibrant, timeless, and something we'll cherish forever. Their beauty continues to take our breath away. Overall, throughout the entire process, Rachael was kind, responsive, thoughtful, patient, and beyond helpful (she even helped us find a videographer super last-minute, springing to action within moments of when I texted her). Her attention to detail is unparalleled, and she leaves no stone un-turned. She was there for us every step of the way, and truly became a friend to us.

Rachael is simply the best! I would definitely recommend her as your wedding photographer! I knew I wanted to hire Rachael immediately. Her photos are absolutely stunning and I love how she captures such a special day. However, I didn't know at the time what a wonderful human she is or how supportive she is as a vendor. I signed a contract with Rachael either right before the pandemic hit or literally right as it started. My wedding was 1.5 years away still and I didn't know the pandemic was going to have an impact on my wedding. During this time, I followed Rachael on social media where she was always super positive, supportive, reassuring, and simply made COVID brides feel so much better about the horrible situation. Many tears were shed along the way, but Rachael always made me feel so much better and truly got me through the COVID experience with her positive attitude. Unfortunately, we made the difficult decision to push our wedding back another year. Rachael worked with us to secure a new wedding date and never complained or made us feel bad about our decision to postpone. She was very helpful and supportive throughout the entire process. She is a very good resource for all things wedding (ideas, recommendations, etc!). Be sure to follow her on Instagram!!! She recommended several videographers to us and even started contacting them on our behalf to inquire about our new wedding date! She'll literally help you with anything you need! Flash forward to our wedding day, it was supposed to rain all day and it was humid and super windy. Rachael kept a positive attitude and reassured me we would get all the pictures I wanted and the rain wouldn't ruin my day. She knew my venue well and had backup plans in case the weather didn't cooperate. Her presence on my wedding day made me feel so much better about the weather. Rachael goes above and beyond to help you with whatever you need. My wedding dress needed to be taped to my body and she took the time to help my sister and me in the morning. Later, I found myself surrounded by only males and needed my dress bustled quickly, so Rachael actually bustled my dress for me. Rachael is really good at keeping you on schedule! Being on time was a big worry of mine, and I never felt like I was rushing or delayed. I can't tell you how nice it was that she was cognizant of the schedule the entire day so that I didn't have to be worried about it!!! She was also really good at photographing my nieces and nephews at the wedding. They are all very young and she was really good at getting their attention and making them laugh/smile. I have a large extended family, and Rachael did a really good job of rounding everyone up quickly and being patient while getting really good group photos. She does a really nice job of instructing everyone without being pushy! This is an extremely important quality for photographers, in my opinion! Even my father, who is a man of few words, was raving about how excellent Rachael was! I just can't say enough good things about Rachael! When I received my wedding album, I literally cried! The pictures are so beautiful and I will cherish them forever. Definitely buy the prints from her, they are of awesome quality! I have her photos hanging all over my house and they are simply stunning! Thank you to Rachael for being so wonderful throughout the long process! My husband and I really appreciate you!

I was referred to Rachael from two childhood friends that had both used Rachael for their weddings. I had 5 conversations with Photographers before speaking with Rachael. Rachael was the only conversation where I hung up and said to my fiancé "Think we've just found our photographer". She is just the best all around. Not only is she an amazing photographer but she is also a wonderful human being. We had rainy days for both our engagement shoot and wedding day (double good luck?). Rachael was an absolute champ through both! When it started downpouring during our engagement shoot, I started to feel a ton of anxiety (I am sure she could tell from my facial expressions). Rachael looked at me and said "Nope! We got this! Don't worry". Instantly my nerves were calmed - it was then I knew we made the best decision. Despite the rain, the pictures turned out AMAZING for both days. When the forecast said downpours right during our pictures after the ceremony, I was surprisingly calm, only because I was confident Rachael had it under control. Before both shoots, Rachael took the time to discuss which shots were important to us and went above & beyond to make sure they happened, even with the rain! Another HUGE reason Rachael is just the best person ever - We had a lot of issues with our wedding coordinator, as did multiple of our vendors. When our wedding coordinator would tell me "No. We cannot do that." to certain requests we had, RACHAEL stepped up and made them happen. Though it was not Rachael's job, she genuinely cared about our day and even told me "This is your day! We are going to do what YOU want!" I truly do not know how our day would have turned out without Rachael. She saved our day in so many ways and we are forever grateful to her! If you want a photographer that is trustworthy, reliable, fun, and genuine - go with Rachael! You'll regret it if you don't.

Where do I even begin?! Rachael was easily the BEST decision we made for our wedding. Not only is she an incredibly talented artist but she's an excellent communicator, professional, organized, kind, and above all, really fun to be around. We had both our engagement shoot and our wedding day with Rachael and myself and my husband actually had FUN doing both (and like many, my husband wasn't initially excited to spend hours taking photos). I've looked back and all of the pictures at least 100 times and still smile every time I do - they are stunning. She captured all of the big and little moments so perfectly. The actual pictures are important but working with someone that makes the day enjoyable is just as important (I think!). Rachael became part of our crew and my friends and family affectionately call her by her first name in recapping the day, as if she was another bridesmaid we've known for years. I am genuinely sad the day is over and we don't get to spend more time with our friend - if you are lucky enough to get to work with her I know you will feel the same.

RACHAEL IS EVERYTHING!!!! Our original photographer canceled on us about 6 weeks out and Rachael had done my friends wedding and I was obsessed, so I was thrilled to hear she was available ( truly so lucky). Everything happens for a reason because I truly don’t think our day would have been as great if it weren’t for her. She brings such amazing energy and was so great to work with. She even sends a sneak peak a few days after which is amazing! My sister is a wedding planner and has worked with a ton of photographers and Rachael automatically went to the top of her list. Rachael is amazing! She brings such great energy to the engagement session and on the wedding day. She works so well with all of the other vendors and our bridal party. She gives great cues to the entire group and communicates well not only on the day but via email leading up to the day. She was so flexible with date and venue changes due to covid and she had such an impressive turnaround time with our photos! She sent over the most gorgeous sneak peak a couple days after the wedding and we had our entire gallery within one month! She also does a fabulous job on editing photos and has great attention to detail. One of my bridesmaids already hired her for her wedding!

Where do I begin? Well to start, I own my own wedding planning company in Chicago so when it came time for me to pick a photographer, it’s safe to say I was extremely picky in what I was looking for. I understand that loving your vendor team is more than just the work they produce; in order to be happy with your team, you have to love their personality. Especially photographers, they are literally with you longer than you’re with your soon-to-be-spouse, so if you better love being around them! I actually hadn’t worked with Rachael before I signed with her for my wedding. I hopped on a zoom with her and immediately fell at ease because of her genuine nature and fun/goofy personality. I could tell we would be friends outside of the wedding world. We had our engagement shoot with Rachael and is it weird to say I had a blast? I do love taking photos but even my [now] husband thought she put him at ease and really directed with poses and kept the conversation and laughs going. The photos were OUT OF THIS WORLD which I truly couldn’t be happier about. So when our wedding was postponed from Fall 2020 to Spring 2021 and there was “no end in sight” we decided to push our wedding to 2022 and “elope” on our second date. Rachael was an absolute sweetheart among the transition, while she did not sign up for it, she allowed me to vent (ha!) and was one of my biggest support teams. As we started planning our elopement in Texas in May 2021, we were really stuck what to do with photography. Do we hire a local vendor or fly Rachael out with one of her elopement packages? Weighing pros/cons and everything in between, we felt the most excited and comfortable bringing her with (the only vendor we flew in!) to capture our big day. I’m currently honeymooning and could not wait to write her a review, despite we only have our **UNREAL** sneak peak back. After reviewing the photos, sliding back and forth between the mini gallery [just about 100 times] I shed a few tears and immediately reached out that she is verbatim, the *best* photographer ever. I work with countless fabulous photographers, don’t get me wrong, I love SO many that I can’t really favorite just one. But there is something very special about Rachael’s editing style, ability to work with the elements, her happy go-lucky spirit and overall talent. I wish I could put into words how much she heightened our big day and will allow us to look back at the photos, smile, and relive the day. Spending the money on a photographer is well worth it. You will never regret having amazing photos, because it’s more than the photos you get back. It’s the memories you can look at when you’re having a bad day, and to pass down to your children and grandchildren. Do yourself a favor and set up a call with Rachael. She travels nation and worldwide (hopefully we’re working an Italy wedding together next year ;) ) and will be your new best friend, and favorite photographer of course. Rachael was the best choice to capture our wedding! If you are reading her reviews do yourself a favor a book her ASAP!! Rachael was incredibly helpful leading up to the wedding and throughout the wedding day. Our photos are incredible and we get so many comments about the quality and style of photography. Rachael had shot several other weddings that we had been too, she was such a blast and so personable that we knew we wanted her when it was time to plan our wedding. Rachael thought of many things that did not cross our minds and even served me a margarita during our reception :). She was responsive and did her research when shooting at new sites to make the process fun and easy. We can't wait to book her again for future photography needs!

Not only is her work amazing but she’s very professional. Having a wedding during covid wasn’t easy but Rachael made it so much more organized. If I could Rachael higher than a five star I would. My husband and I found Rachael after many days of deep diving into online reviews and Instagram pages. Her talent poured through her pictures. The style/coloring was everything we were looking for and the moments she captured of couples and guests were genuine and authentic. After we booked her, to my surprise, not only was Rachael super talented but she was also a light to be around. Her personality radiates positivity and she makes you feel so comfortable in situations you're probably not overly used to (someone taking multiple pictures of you). We absolutely LOVE the way our wedding pictures turned out and have a ton of friends who are now using Rachael for their special day after seeing them. Any couple would be lucky to have Rachael as their photographer!

My husband and I found Rachael on a fluke, and it was the best thing that ever happened to us - both for our wedding and for our personal lives. Choosing to work with Rachael brought nothing but positive vibes. She stayed present and on top of her game in every way possible. When our wedding venue (a restaurant in Chicago) decided to close it's doors without notice 3 weeks before our big day, it was Rachael who stepped up to the challenge and got our local news to cover the story to help get justice for us, as well as attract other venues to help host our 100 person wedding. She reached out to many personal contacts in her business world to help as well. We thankfully landed on a beautiful new venue - thanks to her persistence and hard work. The day of our wedding she commanded the room and took charge (in the best way possible) and kept the ball rolling so we all stayed on our timeline. As a bride, you try to think of everything you can do yourself and try to shoulder a lot of the daunting tasks. Having Rachael part of our journey took so much stress and worry out of me. She truly knows what she is doing and it shows in everything she does. Her style of photography was exactly what my husband and I wanted; light and bright photos that showed a playful side as well as some high end editorial shots (it was perfect for showing my dress off). I felt like each picture could have been submitted to a magazine! She made me and my bridesmaids look beautiful, and made my husband and his groomsman look dapper and handsome. Everyone had so much fun with her! My husband and I still continue to stay in touch with Rachael (a year after our wedding). It's a bummer she's relocating to South Carolina - we kept wanting to meet up with our dogs at the beaches in Chicago! She is still working in Chicago though so hopefully we'll still be able to meet up for a doggie play date! We love Rachael so much - and know you will love her too!

The best advice I received is to hire a photographer that you could see as a friend because in reality you are spending most of your day with this person. When I met Rachael I knew immediately I found my photographer and I couldn't have been more appreciative to have her shoot our wedding and engagement pictures. I wanted romantic, dreamy photos that would remain classic and timeless, and nothing too "staged" so our personalities could be captured. I was so impressed with the level of planning and every details Rachael thought through prior to our big day. Wedding pictures can become stressful very quickly in the city when multiple tourists are walking in front of your shots, but with Rachael's sense of humor and confidence, she had no problem capturing beautiful pictures amongst the chaos. I knew our wedding pictures were going to be beautiful (and they absolutely were) but having Rachael around was so much fun and calmed some of the wedding nerves my husband and I both had during the day! We loved working with Rachael!

It is better late than never, but Rachael was our engagement and wedding photographer this last year. I couldn't be happier with our photos! I knew after looking at her work we had to book her! As a wedding photographer, I’ve watched Rachael’s business flourish and evolve over the years, so when it came time for me to hire our wedding photographer, I scheduled our Isla Mujeres destination wedding around her availability. Rachael’s photos from our engagement + wedding are romantic, timeless and full of emotion. She knows how to capture all of the little moments in between AND still get all of those important family and group photos. Hiring Rachael was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Photography was always one of the most important aspects to the wedding day for my husband and I, so we vetted through a ton of different photographers. After talking with Rachael, we knew she was the perfect choice for us! She is so kind, friendly and upbeat, you just can’t help but to smile when you are around her! Formal pictures are always a bit awkward, but Rachael put us right at ease when we met for our engagement session. On the day of, she showed up to take pictures of us girls getting ready and made the morning so fun! The guys loved having her assistant Danielle there to capture them in the morning too! Rachael and Danielle braved a very hot day and hordes of mosquitoes during our formal portrait session and took the most beautiful images! I’m so thankful we found Rachael, there is no one I would have trusted more with capturing all of the special moments of our day!

I can't say enough good things about Rachael. First off, her photographs are stunning. When I was in the decision process looking through dozens of photographer's portfolios, I was struck with how soft and romantic her pictures are and how stunning every single bride looked in them. I knew I had found someone who I could trust with the memories of my wedding. As soon as the wedding was over and I got those first few preview shots from her, I knew how happy I was going to be with the final product. Second, Rachael is wonderful to be around, and I don't think people weigh that as heavily as they should! Your photographer is someone you're going to be around constantly during your wedding day-- almost more so than your guests! Rachael has a wonderful energy, made my husband and I feel not only comfortable but confident in front of the camera, and she was so upbeat and positive all day! That's the energy you want to surround yourself with, and she has it in spades. Third, Rachael is organized and really put in work ahead of the wedding to accomplish exactly what I was looking for. She sent me a packet to fill out with shots I wanted, groups I wanted pictures with, traditions that were important to the big day so she could be sure to capture them, etc. She made creating a timeline for pictures incredibly easy, and that's the #1 thing I was daunted by before talking to her. She was so helpful and on top of things. I really think that hiring Rachael was the best choice I made for my wedding day. You could be this happy!!! Hire her!

Rachael was WONDERFUL to work with!She listened to exactly what my groom and I wanted for the day of our wedding. She helped make the day go smoothly. Rachael made me feel very comfortable during our portraits and the photographs came out BEAUTIFUL!! During the reception, Rachael was very calm while taking photographs. Wedding photography was at the top of my priority list. I knew that with all of the effort I was putting into all of my details, it was so important to have someone who could capture it all as if you were really there- nothing super staged or dramatic, just the essence of the day as it really happened. I wanted pictures that were happy, bright, and real. Rachael captured all of this and more. What I wasn't expecting, was that many of the pictures of the reception would end up being my favorites. I had put no emphasis on these pictures, thinking they would just be fun to look at after all of the "real" pictures, but Rachael was able to capture moments, not just take pictures. Not one of those pictures is a picture of a room full of drunk people; each one of them is focused on one special moment, expertly captured so that the subjects didn't even know it was being taken. The pictures are alive- you can feel the energy in the room and the love between people. On top of all of Rachael's talent, she's just an incredible person. She was invaluable during the planning process; her list of vendors is top notch, and she was always willing to provide guidance, even if it was something completely unrelated to photography. When I was having a crisis moment the day before the wedding, she helped to put me at ease and arrived earlier than scheduled the morning of to make sure everything was okay. She used her own outfit to dab grease off of my dress, collected bugs out of the layers of tulle, etc. All things she didn't have to do, but did because she cares that much. Since the wedding I've gotten nothing but compliments from friends and family: "The pictures are beautiful." "She did such a good job of capturing how much fun everyone was having." "I've never seen a photographer be as present as she was." "It's like she was everywhere at once and I didn't even see her." "I wish I could re-do my wedding and have her as my photographer." The compliments are endless! Of course I know I made the right choice, but hearing the envy of friends doesn't hurt! If you have any hesitation about picking Rachael to document your day- don't!

I actually was a wedding vendor working alongside Rachael. I was the filmmaker for evening, and Rachael was very accommodating not only to the bride and the groom, but for myself and my film team. Choosing Rachael for our wedding photographer was a wonderful experience before, during, and after the wedding. She takes beautiful photos (which you can see for yourself), but what you may not see from a website, is how personable and energetic she is. She captured the big moments of the day, every single detail, and she made the entire process super fun. Rachael was by far the best decision I made when planning my wedding. Rachael is hands down the best wedding photographer I have ever met and is worth every cent! People have raved about my photos saying how absolutely stunning they are. She makes you feel instantly comfortable even my non-photo loving husband loved being in front of the camera with her. It was 100+ degrees when we shot our engagement photos so we had to move our photo shoot to inside a wine bar. Rachael Osborn is both incredibly talented and an absolute pleasure to work with!! She is so sweet, you will want to be best friends with her the minute you meet her. I stalked one of the brides that had her wedding at Starved Rock to find Rachael. I fell in love with her photos the minute I saw them and I cannot express how amazing of a photographer she is.
