Rachel scouted several locations for us and helped us choose the perfect ceremony location that ended up being on the literal side of a mountain. She provided a timeline, got pre-ceremony photos, hiked 20 minutes up a mountain with our friends/family and came back for the dinner party as well. Sneak peaks and full album were delivered exactly when she said they would be. She made our day so much more special and I can’t imagine anyone else shooting our big day.

gallery yet! She was so great to work with for our engagement shoot, and even better when it came to the wedding day. Rachel is very chill personality-wise, but works efficiently and quick when she is photographing. I think it probably took her 30 minutes max to do our engagement shoot which was great considering it was snowing and freezing out that day! She captured the best most magical photos, especially considering the weather, and we were so excited for the actual wedding after our initial session. She even delivered our full engagement gallery only days after the session, not to mention she was sick and managed to crank them all out in that time frame!
The actual wedding day was the same, if not better, experience. Rachel made sure to listen to both mine and my now husband's requests and direction and coordinated the family photos with such ease and professionalism. She really is a photographer, hype woman and sidekick all in one! It never felt awkward shooting with her which was something both me and my husband were worried about since we had never had professional photos taken before. If you are going to work with Rachel, do not worry about being awkward at all! She puts you at ease and makes you feel like you're just hanging out with your person.
Rachel sent a bunch of preview photos a few days after the wedding and we are over the moon with them! I wasn't expecting to receive so many, but was definitely pleasantly surprised. We had a fun time sharing the photos with our family and friends and received the BEST feedback - everyone loves them and is so impressed! Rachel was so flexible with the timing of everything and helped my husband find the most perfect, romantic spot in the Garden of the Gods for our ceremony. l did our engagement photos and it was the most naturally fun experience. She knew exactly what she was doing and knew exactly what to say to make my now husband and I feel comfortable. Plus, the pictures were truly the most beautiful pictures I had ever seen. Rachel and her associate Catherine Jeter also did our wedding and oh my goodness, they were perfect. It was again so natural taking pictures with them and I didn't think our engagement pictures could be topped, but I was so wrong because our wedding ones were breathtaking. searching, I was lucky enough to find Rachel's work through instagram. I contacted her and I instantly felt so at ease when talking to her. I told my husband, I'm pretty sure we found our photographer right after we hung up from our first conversation. Rachel was so patient with me, and took time to go over literally ANY questions I had. She was even graceful enough to answer questions about Colorado that were not photo related. Her communication throughout the process was so wonderful. I never felt like I was in the dark or worried that my ideas or requests wouldn't be heard. Rachel was so collaborative with me, which was one of the many things I loved about her.
As for the photos, well, I have become that person who says "oh want to see my wedding photos" to almost anyone I come across. They came out so breathtakingly beautiful, I want the world to see them! Rachel also got every little detail that I missed. The day of the wedding is so fast paced sometimes you forget to stop and look at the details...with her photos I was able to see everything.
I honestly cannot believe that I was so lucky to have Rachel as my photographer. The photos and memories she captured I will have for a lifetime, and I am so grateful for that. Rachel became a part of our lives that night, my whole family fell in love with not only her work, but her sweet personality as well.
