My name is Rachel DeRose, and I have loved taking photos for as long as I can remember. I am located in the Mid Michigan area, but I travel all over the country. I am happily married with one amazing son, and my life has never felt more complete.
I started off with a determination that I was going to specialize in working with horses and strictly equine photography. After attending Lansing Community College for photography, I realized I had another passion, which was to photograph people. My favorite way to shoot is to sit back and just watch people when they are most comfortable and being their true selves. I have found that the little moments make some of the most impactful images.
