lly. The booking process was very easy. She communicates with you, is organized leading up to the wedding, and quick at responding to any questions. She also asks what your preference is photo style wise. As someone who feels really awkward in front Of the camera, she really as a gift of making you feel comfortable. Instead of trying to figure out how to stand or where to look, she gives really good advice and cracks the best dad jokes. Her attitude and personality so fun, but still professional. She was really responsive and quick after the wedding. The photos are BEAUTIFUL and my husband and I would be quick to recommend her for anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

ngs. On the actual wedding day, she was a pleasure to be around and had a calm demeanor, which was much appreciated. Even our guests commented on how sweet and professional she was! She was easygoing and even gave me a last-minute ride from our getting-ready spot to our venue and helped me with my earring that broke! Our wedding day turned out to be rainy, but that didn't mess Rachel up at all. She arrived on the day of our wedding excited/ready to go and had areas picked out to shoot at around the barn. She also made sure each spot and everything she wanted to do was OK with us! She is super sweet, willing to help in any way, makes jokes while taking pictures to help us have fun with it, AND she brought the party with the most awesome light up dance shoes (I might have just given away her secret to being the best.) She already sent us a sneak peek of some of our wedding day pictures and I LOVE all of them. I seriously can't wait to get the rest! I'm so thankful Rachel was our photographer for our special day!!

My husband and I did an engagement session with her a few months before the wedding, which I loved because it gave us a chance for us to get to know her and her to get to know us, our style, and how we work best. She is incredibly organized, personal, kind, hilarious, and she always made sure to take the time to get all the photos that she knew were most important to Ben and I. On my wedding day, I didn't spend time worrying if all the right photos were being taken, because I fully trusted Rachel to make them happen. We were absolutely thrilled with how both our engagement photos and wedding photos turned out. Every photo is like a breath of fresh air. Not one of them looked stuffy or posed. We had BEAUTIFUL portraits, but also countless candid moments, which I wouldn't trade for the world. One of my favorite things about Rachel's photography, is that her photos make you FEEL something. They never fail to remind me of exactly how I felt on the greatest day of my life.

When she photographed our engagement session, she let me get a little crazy and woke up before the sun with us so we could get a good foggy morning to take photos in. lable and I booked her ASAP. We had already had some engagement pictures taken by a friend but we decided to do some with Rachel as well and I’m so glad we did! The pictures were amazing and it gave us a chance to get to know each other and figure out what to expect on our wedding day. There was also a bit of adventure with the engagement pictures because we took them in the mountains and ended up a bit lost and had no cell reception but Rachel was so patient and even though we were super late she still did the session with what light was left and I was impressed with how many great pictures she got in such a short amount of time! Our wedding day pictures went so smoothly. I was running a little behind but again Rachel was incredibly patient. My husband and I had a evening wedding and also didn’t want to do a first look and I was worried about how that would work out logistically and if we’d have enough time to get all the family pictures and other pictures done before it was time to go to the reception. Rachel gave us options and really worked with us to make sure we were able to do things how we wanted and also had enough time to get all the pictures we needed. I was amazed at how well all the family pictures turned out and how quickly we got them done! I have a huge family with lot of small children but Rachel was great at telling everyone where they needed to be and it ended up being pretty painless. I love all my wedding photos from the details to the dancing and I’m so thankful we found Rachel!

I live in Louisville, KY so we drove down and met her in Knoxville and had an amazing adventure to Max Patch, NC to create some magical pictures! The whole car ride we were laughing and chatting and it felt so natural. The shoot went perfectly and Rachel made us feel so comfortable and at ease. We laughed the whole shoot and she’s not afraid to get down and dirty! The pictures turned out beautiful for our engagement session. And we were SO excited to see her again for our wedding. On our wedding day, she was an amazingly calm prescence. I was so nervous and had a lot of anxiety and everything went so smoothly with her. Our pictures came out beautifully. What I love about Rachel is that she is not just your photographer, but your friend. She’s hilarious, witty, and easy to talk to. She will make you feel calm and beautiful.
