, I messaged her to tell her the good news! It was absolutely no question at all, she had to be our photographer! We were lucky enough to also have her husband, John, as our second shooter for our wedding, too! Talk about a power couple! What I love so much about the Halseys is how comfortable they make you feel the moment they are in your presence! They had such an excitement and energy that in turn made ME more excited! Something that was very important to my husband and I was making sure our daughter was invovled every step of the way, and they totally embraced that! From our Engagement Shoot to the Wedding Day, they were sure to do whatever they could to make sure she was a part of it! They even sat with her and showed her how to work the camera to help make her feel more comfortable! Preparing for the wedding, Rachel was super responsive to all of the messages I sent regarding timeline, shot-lists, and all the other little details to make the day perfect. Whenever I had a question, she was right on top of it with an answer and guidance. Rachel and John even went to our hotel they week of our wedding to see where the First Look would take place to scope out the right angles and lighting! The day of, they let us enjoy ourselves so much! We got the must-have formal shots we wanted, but what I was most excited about was they captured us ENJOYING the day! All of the candids and little details and sweet moments, they got. In just a few days from our wedding, Rachel sent over some sneak peeks and I instantly started to cry. It was more than I could have ever imagined! They were absolute perfection! I have never felt so beautiful than I do in those photos she and John captured - I’ll admit, I keep just staring at them! I cannot wait to see the full album! I know we will cherish their photos for the rest of our lives, and I am so grateful to have a permament go-to photographer for the rest of our lives! Anything I've tried to write has fallen short so I will just say that Rachel is a doll, her photos are phenomenal, and I highly suggest her as a photographer. You will be so pleased with her communication, work ethic, and attention to detail. She is the first vendor we hired (after the venue ) and I am so thankful to know her.

be the one. She was so personable, so professional and so attentive. She answered all my questions in a timely fashion without making me feel like I'm bothering her. She imparted her knowledge and experience working in the field with me when it came to making decisions, and understood my needs. I felt that we've been friends for years after meeting her face to face! During our engagement photo session, she made my husband and me feel comfortable and the photos came out gorgeous. I was incredibly grateful they worked with us and made us laugh on a particular cold November day. For Christmas, she gave us a cute ornament with a picture from our engagement photos to cherish. On our wedding day, Rachel and her husband John made us feel like we were their sole priority. Up in the bridal suite, Rachel was so attentive; making sure I had water if I needed it or if there was anything she or John could do for me while she was taking her shots. Working with both digital and film, they captured some truly breathtaking photos that I'll cherish forever. I got the photos back a few months later, not only online, but in a cute USB flash drive so that I could share them at my leisure. I couldn't recommend Rachel enough for the work both she and John put in to make sure our day was one to remember. They deserve all the glowing reviews!
