Leading up to our wedding, she reached out and offered her advice and help, which was so thoughtful as she has so much experience with weddings. On the wedding day, Rachel was so easy to get along with. We didn't have engagement photos done near home, so we didn't have the chance to meet her beforehand. You wouldn't have guessed that, as she put us at ease for the whole day and we all had such a great time with her! Before the wedding day, she made sure to go over all of the pictures that we wanted to get and what things were important to us for the big day. She worked so hard on the wedding day to get all of the pictures we wanted, and I am truly blown away by all of the shots she got! l knew how to make us feel comfortable which led to pictures that perfectly captured us and our relationship. She created a fun experience through a light hearted atmosphere, which led to many laughs and happy memories. Rachel clearly showed an ability to find great backdrops for our photos. After an hour long session, we had well over 100 high quality pictures. All of them were so good it was hard to narrow it down to pick which ones to print and to put on our wedding website. We had a book made with all of our pictures and we’ve found that flipping through every picture evokes a happy memory from a wonderful afternoon. The wedding photo process with Rachel started well in advance of the wedding as she sent us tips and options to think through ahead of time. She helped us think through the details (timeline, desired photos, etc.) ahead of time so that when the wedding day arrived, she could be sure to capture every important moment. This foresight relieved wedding day stress and allowed us to focus on our special day. We completely trusted that Rachel would take the photos we wanted and guide us along the timeline as needed. This trust proved to be well-founded as she did exactly that throughout the day. Rachel again demonstrated professionalism as well as an easy to get along with demeanor that was as effective with grandmothers as it was with toddler nieces and nephews. She made everyone feel at ease, which was a real blessing to this bride and groom. The finished product of pictures exceeded our expectations and will provide a perfect lens through which to look back on our wedding day in the coming years. From portrait style pictures with our family, to quiet moments between just the bride and groom, to candid moments at the reception, Rachel created a perfect mix of styles, backgrounds, and moments.
