Hello, I'm Rachel Leigh Vogel, a wedding hair and makeup specialist based out of Maryville, TN! I'm a certified makeup artist and licensed cosmetologist with over ten years experience working on beautiful brides-to-be like yourself - as well as - high-profile clientele for various TV shows, commercials, live events and music videos. Joining the two worlds is a passion of mine - wedding planning can be stressful and my goal is bring some relaxation and self-care to the process by providing a luxurious red carpet experience from the time we first chat to your bridal preview and throughout your wedding day! My career as a bridal makeup artist and hairstylist is more than just making you look pretty - it's about highlighting your personality and enhancing your most favorite features so you can feel your most confident self while remaining true to you. I have spent the past decade perfecting my skill in creating looks that are effortless and forever timeless. I truly believe the most beautiful part of anyone is what is on the inside which is why there is nothing I love more than getting to know each client's story and from that - creating a look that is personal to them. Wow, I just had to leave a review about Rachel! She was the most kind, professional, talented, and responsive vendor I come in contact with. I couldn’t thank her enough for helping my wedding day go so smoothly! My package also included a makeup trial and rehearsal dinner makeup which was absolutely wonderful to not stress about. She made every step so easy and gave me so much confidence. I highly recommend!

Rachel did my hair and makeup and my Mom’s hair for my microwedding in this past June in the Smokies. I basically never wear makeup in my daily life and while I knew I wanted to get my hair and makeup done for my wedding was a little nervous because as an out of state bride I didn’t have time for a trial. And since I’m not really a hair or makeup person I’ve never really felt confident about how to explain what I want, I just knew I wanted to look like myself, but elevated. I choose Rachel since she is all about a natural aesthetic and she delivered! I had sent her my Pinterest board with hair and makeup and even Rachel looked through them all and asked great questions to make sure she knew what I was looking for. I loved my hair and makeup and definitely felt like I still looked like me. My Mom also loved her hair. Throughout the booking processes Rachel was very communicative and the day of she was super friendly and relaxed. Spending the first part of my wedding day with Rachel was just a fabulous way to kick off the festivities. I’d highly recommend Rachel to other brides looking for a natural look.

As a destination bride, it is very difficult to pick a makeup/hair artist from a few pictures afar. Rachel did a great job showcasing her work, and in reaching out to her, I knew she would be the best fit! I did a preview with Rachel the day before my wedding, and I was so glad I chose her. She heard my vision and brought it to life! She even was able to switch things up a bit the day before to make my style look a little different for the rehearsal dinner. My wedding day look was exactly as I imagined! I’m so thankful that I chose Rachel for my wedding day. I can’t recommend enough!

Rachel was phenomenal-she was a delight to work with, and nailed my hair and makeup day of. We had a miscommunication for the trial, but she was great and willing to pivot day of and the results were stunning. She was also able to accommodate all my allergens, which is so hard to find! 10/10 recommend!

Rachel was great throughout the whole process. She was accommodating when I had to reschedule my hair trial and again when the timeline for hair and makeup had to be adjusted. She is very sweet and caring! She made my makeup very natural looking and it was exactly as I had hoped it would be!
