I have a family of 100+ and she managed to get many great shots of all of us. If you’re awkward at taking photos, she’s your girl. She is skilled at guiding you (and your husband) to take the best shot. She can literally make anyone look like the most beautiful goddess. I’m always amazed at her work and I’m so lucky to have had her take our photos on our wedding day.

me humble person even after her business has taken off. Everything surrounding my wedding in 2016 was a whirlwind. My now-husband and I had an extremely quick engagement (about 3 months or so) due to some personal circumstances with his family. So Rachel had to work very quickly to get the engagement photos and bridal photos done. She arose to the occasion! We did our engagement session in Galveston. I’ll be honest, I am NOT a beach lover. Especially of Galveston. BUT....Rachel knew the perfect spot for our session at around dusk. It was a secluded beach (can’t remember the name of the beach....maybe Jamaica Beach?) that was perfect for an engagement photo shoot. She honored my request to not have any overt kissing photos (I don’t have a problem with it for anyone else, but I just personally didn’t want such photos for myself). My then-fiance and I had a wonderful time, and the photos turned out beautiful. They captured our fun side, especially his silliness. Flash-forward to my bridal. The bridal session was literally two days before my wedding, which is not typical of most ladies, but again, this was the circumstance we were given. She took me to two beautiful areas of downtown (a wildlife reserve and a church) for the photos, which provided the perfect backdrops. She captured my gorgeous gown and overall look with grace. My only wish is that I had smiled better. I look at my photos, and I think to myself, “Why on earth did I not smile as genuinely?” I think I was going for a “model” look, and it just didn’t come out as well as I was picturing in my head. Anyway.... The wedding was a whirlwind, as all weddings are. She did a wonderful job capturing the indoor wedding. I know photographers prefer the lighting outdoors, but she still did a wonderful job. She did bring the families outdoors for the photos after the wedding. Again, the best-looking photos are where I was genuinely smiling, not doing that stupid “model” thing. Overall, Rachel is excellent. She is extremely hard-working and careful, but not afraid to have fun too. She also is honest, and, more importantly, she is a loyal friend.

She is so sweet, energetic, easy to talk to and she makes you feel so comfortable even if you’re camera shy. ALSO she makes you feel so beautiful making it easier to come out of your shell.
