hey're such wonderful people, and I felt very comfortable around them. Rachel is laser-focused and made sure we got every shot, while checking in to make sure we weren't feeling overwhelmed and giving necessary posing instructions. She even helped zip up my dress and pin in my veil. My favorite part was when we were on golf-carts to the next location and she shouted "STOP! The lighting is beautiful," and she was right - we got some of the best pics from that spot. We had 2 zoom calls with them beforehand and Rachel helped us with our timeline, which was so helpful. She's very responsive with emails and her estimation of 5 weeks to get photos after the wedding was exactly correct. We didn't lose our deposit with them when we pushed our original wedding due to the pandemic. Even our engagement photos turned out amazing. I cannot recommend them enough.

My husband and I worked with Rachel for both our engagement photos and our wedding. Our engagement session with Rachel was so much fun – we were nervous about being photographed but Rachel made it easy. And we were absolutely blown away when we saw the photos for the first time. Rachel captured our relationship along with the landscape, the colors, more beautifully than I could have imagined. She posed us in ways that produced beautiful shots, but also helped us feel at ease. Multiple acquittances reached out to tell me that our engagement photos were some of the best they had seen. And Rachel and her husband Charlie made our wedding so much fun and so easy! Rachel spent lots of time working with us on a shot list to make sure she captured all the family photos we wanted. Rachel and her husband gathered all the key individuals (and there were many of them) throughout the day and helped us capture those special shots of friends and family. And throughout the wedding Rachel and Charlie captured the rest of our guests that weren’t in the posed photos. Every one of our guests was photographed at some point! It was lovely to look back and see the people and memories that we didn’t have as much time to appreciate on such a busy day. Rachel and Charlie made our guests feel special, reminding our guests that they were playing an important role on this special day. Throughout the day both Rachel and Charlie went above and beyond. Rachel bustled my dress, Charlie carried my flowers. They made us and our guests feel at ease and helped the day run so smoothly. We were able to stick to our schedule and still spend time with our guests and enjoy our wedding. And once again, our portraits were stunning. Rachel and Charlie identified so many creative shots and used the natural light in such a lovely way. The only challenge was deciding how to display all the magnificent photos that came out of our wedding and engagement session! We were so grateful to work with Rachel throughout the wedding process. Her initial schedule truly helped me organize the rest of our wedding! We are thrilled that we will hopefully have many opportunities to work with her again in the future as we build memories together as a new family!

we booked and she answered all of our questions and took time to get to know us. During our engagement photoshoot, Rachel was so creative and knew ALL of the secret spots in Forest Park. My husband hates taking pictures and she made the entire photoshoot a blast. The pictures are modern yet natural and she captured our relationship perfectly. People keep telling us how amazing our engagement photos are to this day! The Wedding Day was truly magical with both Rachel and Charlie. Charlie took the time to meet the groomsmen at my parents house and created a chill and fun atmosphere for the guys. He was amazing at entertaining the little ones to help them look smiley for the photos, he was even able to get some shots of our nervous pup! He always made sure the details were perfect and even helped cool the groom down during the hot weather. Rachel was a life saver that day. She found the most special moments and captured them. Her attention to detail is incredible and she is a huge support for any bride (especially my type A brides!) She kept us on our timeline and managed to get all of our important shots before the wedding and during the reception with all of the chaos! Rachel also jumped into action to assist with making sure my bridal look was perfect (boob tape is hard). So beyond grateful for her fun yet calm energy during our special day. Rachel and Charlie are a such a treat to add to your day and you will be in great hands. We cannot wait to see our wedding photos!! Thank you so much for your help making our day special <3

arlie as our photographers was hands down THE #1 BEST decision I made for our wedding. I immediately fell in love with Rachel’s work because her photos are breathtaking and unique (you literally can’t find photos like hers anywhere else.) And then, when we FaceTimed, she was so bubbly, down to earth, and fun, and I immediately knew that I wanted to book her. Rachel was so communicative and organized throughout the whole process, which was so appreciated as we all know the wedding planning process can be stressful. On the wedding day, Rachel and Charlie were prepared, efficient, and gave everyone perfect direction. They, both, were so creative and attentive to every detail. And best of all, they made everything so fun. I received sooooo many compliments from the wedding party and from both families about how smooth and fun the photo taking process was. At the reception, Rachel and Charlie were always right there, ready to take a picture of every interaction between myself and/or guests. I received the photos back so quickly and there is not a single picture I am not in love with. They are STUNNING. Rachel and Charlie well surpassed their roles as photographers, as well… Charlie helped carry my train when walking from place to place, and when my bustle broke, Rachel helped find a safety pin and put my dress in a makeshift bustle. Rachel even had hand warmers for us when we were taking photos outside in the middle of January (I mean, come on!) I would pay 5x the amount I did to book Rachel Myers Photography again. And I can not recommend Rachel and Charlie enough!

onality that we knew would be easy to work with. My husband and I are camera shy and feel awkward in front of the camera, but Rachel made things feel so natural. In September 2019, we did an engagement session with Rachel. We started out nervous, but it ended up feeling like we were hanging out with a friend. Like many couples, our wedding plans were changed due to COVID. Rachel helped us in any way that she could. My husband and I decided to have an intimate ceremony with just family in August 2020 and Rachel captured that. We loved our photos so much. We couldn't wait to see what she would capture for our wedding celebration in April 2021. She did not disappoint! Our photos are AMAZING! Also, Rachel got our photos back to us extremely fast. For our wedding celebration in April 2021, that is the first time we had the pleasure of meeting Rachel's husband and 2nd shooter, Charlie. The two of them make the best duo. At the end of the night, our bridal party kept mentioning that they were the real deal. My husband and I couldn't agree more. We can't wait to work with Rachel in the future.

Their photos speak for themselves in showing how talented they are as photographers. But I also have to say that Rachel and Charlie literally made our wedding day better. They were so fun and easy to work with and made us both feel comfortable so we were able to just be ourselves! I think this is what makes them truly exceptional. They are not only creating beautiful photographs. They are capturing real moments of people’s lives and all the emotion that occurs in those moments. Leading up to the wedding we had a couple of phone calls/FaceTime chats which helped us to get to know each other a little better and plan appropriately. The engagement session helped us get comfortable in front of the camera and to understand how Rachel would guide us. We also had some planning calls and emails to make sure we were both on the same page about what I wanted. I felt great going into the wedding day knowing I could completely trust that we had a plan. And when it turned out that it was going to pour down rain most of day, it was clear Rachel had adjusted the plan to make sure we still got the photos we wanted! If you like Rachel’s style of photography and are considering booking with her, don’t hesitate! You will not be disappointed!

robably one of the most stressful days. The preparation that they put into the day makes everything run so smoothly. On top of that every single picture was perfection! I already plan on asking them for all my future photography needs. Would recommend them 1,000 times over!

o the unique angles. They are both incredibly nice and laid back, but Rachel can also rally the wedding party for group shots when needed. We loved having them photograph our wedding and will be back for family portraits in the future!

and Charlie based off of the photos I had seen of their. I decided to move forward and meet with them and another couple. After meeting with Rachel I knew she was the one I wanted to capture my big day!! She was so organized and professional yet so fun and spontaneous! After deciding to move forward with Rachel and Charlie, we schedule an engagement session which was SO fun and such a good way to get to know them! (not to mention we got amazing pictures). About a month before the big day we had a zoom meeting with Rachel to nail down the details such as family photos, timeline, specific pictures we were wanting etc. Fast forward to our big day and Rachel and Charlie were perfect! They thought of EVERYTHING! From the second they got to the church they were capturing every single little detail- decor, flowers, church, dress, plus all of the getting ready pictures! During our ceremony they caught every special moment between my husband and I plus the reactions of our wedding party and family members. Then came extended family pictures which we flew through (and we have giant families) and the pictures are exactly what we wanted. Then came the fun wedding party picture and bride and groom pictures. We had so much fun with Rachel and Charlie! It really felt like they were there just to celebrate us but also perfectly captured every moment with our friends and between just my husband and I! Lastly, we moved onto the reception! This really flew by! Prior to getting our pictures back I was so nervous that we would not have pictures of all the little details (because we all known how much time the bride puts into every single aspect of the room). But to no surprise we have all the details, all the guests, all the dance shots, plus all the party shots. Our wedding pictures came back so fast and I have been obsessing over them ever since I received them (I mean looking at them a few times a day). Both of our parents are blown away by the outcome and we have already received so many compliments. If you are looking for amazing photographers who will make it feel like you're celebrating your wedding day with old friends, Rachel and Charlie are the way to go! We couldn't be happier with our decision!

Starting with all of the getting ready photos, she turned the tiny hotel rooms we were using into a grand stage for her art. For our wedding party photos, she was able to capture the personalities of each of our friends. And in all our family photos everyone is smiling and has their eyes open-which in a big family we have found to be impossible! She captured the grace in our wedding, the excitement in our reception. Looking back a few weeks after our wedding, there were some moments that’s I was not able to capture and remember as much as I wanted to. All of the pictures Rachel and Charlie took for the entire day captured these moments in the best detail. There were pictures I didn’t know were taken which bring tears to my eyes or a big, big, big smile to my face. The biggest challenge now is figuring out which photos I want to print because I love so many of them. The joy they captured could not be matched, so seriously choose Rachel and Charlie for your wedding photographer-they are artists who’s job is to capture joy, you can tell they love what they do, and they do it so well.
