First trained in photography as a journalist, I mix together fly-on-the-wall photo-journalism with bits of posed photos throughout the day. My years of experience in professional storytelling, combined with my years of experience in the service industry, have prepared me for anything that could happen on a wedding day! and Rachel gave awesome advice as to how the day should be laid out. The day of the wedding exceeded all of my expectations of a photographer. Not only did Rachel capture all of the beautiful moments that I ever could have wanted, she also was a wealth of knowledge for the little things that went wrong during the day. For example, during pictures, she immediately had a remedy for the amount of static happening with my dress since none of us brough Static Guard! The day went flawlessly and on schedule because of Rachel’s expertise. On top of it all, the pictures that I received back were amazing and everything that I wanted. Rachel even went above and beyond months after the wedding by finding an additional picture of my family that wasn’t in the gallery and editing out my strap that had fallen in a couple of the pictures I wanted framed. I would without a doubt ask Rachel to photograph my wedding day again or any other big life event warranting photography.
