My husband and I thought we hated taking pictures, but Rachel made us feel so at ease and relaxed with her down to earth persona. She also had a fantastic vibe with our videographer which I think made a huge difference on the wedding day (despite neither of them ever shooting at our venue, or working together, they collaborated on photos/video and one of our favorite memories from our wedding was riding out to the long driveway of our venue drinking with them and taking photos - truly!). I think overall the best thing Rachel does is truly get to know the couples she works with and build that relationship that puts people at ease. She cares so much about what she does and the couples she works with and you can see that from the moment you book with her all the way through putting your wedding photo album together.

Rachel was super professional throughout the whole process but also extremely personable, putting me and everyone in my bridal party at ease. My husband and I planned our wedding from Seattle so we did not get to meet with the Rachel prior to the event. Rachel set up time to have a call with us and get to know us better. When we showed up in NY for our wedding Rachel photographed us like she had known us for years! We love her photo journalistic style and ability to truly capture each moment. Rachel helped us work through our timeline leading up to the day so that I could coordinate my hair and make up and kept us on track throughout the day. We received our full edited album just over a month after our wedding which was much faster than I expected. The pictures were beautiful and allowed my husband and i to re-live the day. We highly recommend booking Rachel for your next event!

we were very taken by stunning photos she had taken for previous weddings at our location as well as at other coastal locations. We loved how Rachel is able to use the beach setting to add a heightened sense of romanticism and naturalness to the photos. She was professional from the beginning, and took the time to go over our schedule and share some advice with us, especially with regard to how to pull off some really cool sparkler photos at the end of our reception. I really loved that she was interested in having things go smoothly and planning ahead, not just for photos but for the whole experience. Rachel's relaxed vibe and generous, friendly personality made my husband and I feel very comfortable. We got a sneak peek of our photos within a week or so of our wedding, which was really fun! We loved our photos on the beach and near the water, but also her up-close portraits and the fun moments she and her second photographer captured at our reception of our guests dancing and having a good time. Our beautiful photos made the decision of having Rachel design our album a very easy one -- my mom ended up deciding to get one as well and Rachel was very flexible in allowing us to tweak the albums for our different needs.
