Rachel is an amazingly professional and talented wedding photographer. I booked Rachel pre-pandemic and during our two year engagement, we hit a couple COVID roadblocks. I am so appreciative of everything that Rachel did to mitigate the issues that arose. Our wedding photographs are absolutely stunning and everything I could have ever wanted. I also worked with Rachel on our physical wedding album and it is perfection. I am so grateful to Rachel for capturing this memory that we will never want to forget.

Having Rachel as our wedding photographer is the best decision that we have ever made. She is extremely caring and tried everything within her hands to help us through multiple wedding reschedules due to covid. Beyond her unbeatable kindness, she is also a top notch photographer! I couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our engagement pictures and wedding day. Rachel instantly made Taylor and I feel so comfortable behind the camera. On our wedding day, she took the lead in wrangling the wedding party, instructing us on what to do and finding the most beautiful locations to take pictures. During the ceremony and reception you would barely know that she was there but she made sure to capture all of the most important shots. Rachel goes above & beyond the role you would expect from your photographer! Where do I begin?! Engagement photos: She took our vision and made it come to life with finding breath taking spaces for our photos. I'll be honest, we are an awkward couple and don't usually enjoy being in front of the camera however, Rachel made our engagement session the most fun experience taking photos we have ever had! She made it feel so natural! Bridal portraits: I'm so glad I had bridal portraits done because we NEVER would have had time for those photos on the wedding day. It was really nice to have a trial run on how everything would go on the wedding day. Rachel was so full of positive, creative energy even after her trip from Charleston, SC to Raleigh, NC! Wedding day: Rachel worked with our other vendors to make sure we stayed on the timeline to get all the shots in we wanted. She helped to coordinate everything before the ceremony such as getting on the dress, gift exchange & first look. Throughout my wedding planning process Rachel was SUPER responsive and helpful with questions such as other vendor recommendations and day of timeline questions. Essentially anything I asked Rachel, from her years of wedding experience, she would have some advice. All in all, we are SO HAPPY we choose Rachel Red Photography! She is not just an expert in her field but also very passionate about what she does as well as taking care of her clients!

Rachel and her team did our photography from engagement, rehearsal activities, and through the big day. She is professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about the finished product being something we will cherish forever. Not only was Rachel perfect for all things photography, but she was like having a second wedding planner with her expertise on Charleston. She helped my fiancé find our florist, hair and makeup team, and several venues for wedding week activities. On the day of the wedding, Rachel was as efficient as they come and managed to get all of the group pictures we asked for, on an extremely tight timeline, without once making us feel rushed. From the first time we met Rachel, we knew we were in the best hands, and she delivered in a way we only could have hoped for. On top of everything else, she is an absolute sweetheart and a joy to work with.

Going with Rachel Red Photography for my wedding was one of the best decisions that I made during planning! Rachel Ashcraft is so talented, engaging, friendly and has an awesome style for her photography. She provided great detail prior to the day so I knew what to expect. Where do I begin? So many great things to say about Rachel and Red. We got married on August 26th and had them do our engagement session, my bridal portraits, and our wedding. You have these photos for the rest of your life and it's important to truly love them and be proud of them. As the bride-to-be, I was the one being surprised with the romantic proposal on a gorgeous bridge in Charleston. To make everything even more like a fairy-tale, my fiance hired Rachel to capture the whole event through photography. Rachel and her assistant were extremely professional, but also very outgoing and personable. They were just as excited for us as a couple of friends would be, which made the experience even more enjoyable! We just got back our pictures from our proposal session and couldn't love them more - and neither could our mamas :) Now, as we're planning our wedding, we are hoping to have Rachel as our photographer. Wow! Rachel is so amazing and talented and I would highly recommend using her for your photographs! My name is Steffanie Apostle and I used Rachel Red Photography for my Engagement & Wedding. This was probably one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. From the moment I met her and we spoke I knew I had the right person. I could not have asked for a better photographer. She did such a great job on the engagement pictures, my friends actually thought they were from a magazine that was how good they came out. When I first met Rachel she lived in New Hampshire and I lived in Massachusetts. In the midst of hiring her and the actual wedding date she moved to South Carolina. Too my surprise, she did not cancel me as I thought would have happened or upcharge me for travel but she came all the way back up to Massachusetts for my wedding and did it at no extra cost. I couldn’t believe it. By the time the wedding came I felt like she was more of a friend than just the photographer. Then came the big special day, and she was just the best to work with. She had every question to ask, even the ones I had not thought of yet. She had a schedule that would allow getting all the photos needed, and all my guests loved her, she was absolutely phenomenal. My pictures were exceptional; everything was done so quickly it was crazy. I have had so many people ask for her information so they could use her, but unfortunately she moved to South Carolina. She was so great I would absolutely pay her travel to come up here anytime I need pictures taken.

From start to finish, Rachel was as professional as they get. She came very prepared with several different camera bodies and lenses and throughout the night she was constantly looking for the most creative shots. She captured all the moments we asked for flawlessly and we couldn't have been happier!
