Our first shoot with Rachel was an engagement session where we had the privilege of getting to know her and her style. On the day of the wedding, Rachel and her team helped every moment run smoothly and on schedule, without us ever feeling rushed or overwhelmed. She delicately popped in and out of the bridal and groom suites to capture our pre-wedding emotions. achel is such a professional and so good at what she does, and it truly showed on the day of the wedding. Our venue coordinator let us down on the day of the wedding, leaving us without a day of coordinator to help with keeping us on schedule. Without even asking, Rachel stepped in and was helping us corral family for photos, constantly moving us along. When we decided to keep her around for one more hour, she jumped right in and even made sure to let our DJ know about the schedule change. I'm not even sure she got a chance to eat! She was truly our wedding savior that night!
What we love most about Rachel is just how comfortable she makes you feel in front of a camera. We're so bad in front of a camera, and she made us feel so relaxed and we loved how instructional she was with the poses!
She also has such a keen eye for details. She blew us away with how she set up our rings and flowers from our intimate ceremony last year, and this year, she did it again! We were worried about so many details that didn't exactly turn out right the day of the wedding, but Rachel put her magic touch and when we saw the final photos, we forgot what we were even worried about! And when it came time to make our thank you cards and gifts, she was so extremely patient with all the little changes and adjustments we asked for. . Not only were her photos absolutely amazing, she was very easy to work with and listened to our input. She did a beautiful job capturing both families' traditions in a Hindu and Christian wedding. She and her team of photographers were unobtrusive during the wedding but managed to capture elements from every important moment. She also took photos of our sangeet the evening before the wedding.
After the wedding, we reached out to Rachel to design wedding albums for our parents and ourselves, and we could not be happier with the beautiful results. They made excellent Christmas gifts for our families!

For our Engagement session, she helped us pick spots that felt like us and weren’t necessarily your typical locations. For example, we took pictures in one of our favorite cocktail spots, and though not the easiest spot with other people there, she made it work and the photos looked fabulous!
As for the wedding, we had a number of incredible areas we could have photographed at Houdini Estate but Rachel nailed it with the locations understanding the light and look we were going for. Again, keeping it moving and understanding our priority was the spend the most time with our guests :).
The cherry on top was the added thoughtfulness of sending us a framed wedding photo after our big day. She went out of her way to go the extra mile and this was a very special treat. We would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone. Thank you, Rachel!

ry special talent. We weren’t looking for someone who would just document the day in images, we wanted to find someone who would capture the feeling of the day by picking just the right moments. Rachel accomplished this and then some. I felt good about our decision to work with her right away; once we determined that she was available, she set up an appointment to have a FaceTime chat and find out more about our story, she asked a lot of questions and it was very laid back. She also explained her methodology and her process. Rachel is very tech savvy, uses an online portal to communicate and manage appointments, and your photos are delivered digitally via a personalized online gallery, where prints can also be ordered. Over the course of our wedding year, Rachel communicated with us regularly via the portal and we had a series of fun and friendly face-to-face meetings where we agreed on flow of events, settled on the locations for the shoots that were not at the venue (like the complimentary engagement shoot - definitely do this), and had breakfast at the venue to get the layout in mind. Rachel also had advice for other vendors - specifically, our videographer - who happens to be her very talented husband! Having your photographer and videographer coordinating their work is so important and hiring the Stelters together worked perfectly for us, and they worked great together. Rachel and her staff were knowledgeable, courteous, fun, and very professional. I should add - they also kept a timeline handy on the wedding day and kept the trains moving very effectively.

She took plenty of care to make sure we had a great plan and consistently provided guidance leading up to our wedding, so that we would know what to expect and be at ease. This included a thorough questionnaire and prompt updates throughout the entire process.

She got to know us through coffee meet-ups and questionnaires and her attention to detail made us feel very special. Rachel even offered recommendations for vendors we were still looking for and we benefited hugely from her knowledge (including the recommendation of her husband who happens to be a VERY talented videographer -- talk about a dream team!). We opted for a package that included engagement photos and had a great session with her in a few locations that were significant to our relationship. She even let us include our dog in some of them and we’re so happy to have those family photos! At the wedding, Rachel and her team showed up early, were incredibly professional, and were great at getting through our shotlist even when it was difficult to corral our large families! Rachel and her team were always so well positioned that we didn’t really notice her setting up shots, which allowed us to feel comfortable and natural all day and night long. There were also some very thoughtful surprises from Rachel along the way (I won’t specify so as to not spoil the surprise for other couples), which made us feel like a huge priority for her. First and foremost, Rachel was SO easy to work! She was always in close contact with us and was quick to reply whenever I had questions. From the beginning, Rachel spoke with us over the phone to get a feel of what we wanted and she helped us pick the perfect locations. Months leading up to the session, she gave tips on what to wear, how to prepare for the shoot, and what to expect. My fiance and I were extremely nervous to be in front of the camera, but Rachel made us feel so comfortable with her calm and laid back persona. She was also very patient with our energetic 2 year old pup! We never felt rushed, and she even took the time to stay longer to get the perfect shots. The session felt natural, and better yet, it was fun!
We received all our pictures back earlier than we expected, which was a great surprise! She was so gracious and flexible, and really understood what elements we wanted to include in our wedding. Day of, she was unfazed by family jumping in front of her with iphones to take photos, and patiently accommodated our guests requests for her to take their photo :) Even amidst the chaos of the wedding, Rachel was able to seamlessly get amazing shots of the wedding, and really captured many amazing and beautiful candids of the event.

My husband and I are both into photography and knew from day 1 how important our wedding photos were to us, and Rachel definitely delivered. Planning a wedding on our own was very stressful, and Rachel was without a doubt the easiest vendor to work with. She was incredibly professional, continuously checked in asking all the right questions, and really got to know us in order to best capture such a special day for us. We included numerous special elements into our wedding ceremony and reception. d wedding photos in Camarillo. The whole time Rachel made us feel at ease, was like a fairy in the background capturing all the magic. All the while, she was very professional, but still made us feel like old friends.
When it came time to delivering our pictures she not only delivered them in time, but was early. We received them as a gift on Valentines Day! When the pictures were delivered we almost didn't recognize ourselves (in the best way!) My dad said We looked like magazine covers, or those people in the frames when you buy it at the store. I would like to think were naturally that great looking, but let's be real here.... it was Rachel's eye and finger snapping just the right pics. I also told Rachel I wanted our photos to look natural, not forced like so many peoples wedding photos do. She caught great moments like my husband carrying me over his shoulder across the grass, my grandpa dancing with me, my little brother dancing with me, and wonderful photos of people dancing and having fun. My maid of honor said while looking through the photos that you could feel the emotion in all the photos. She's right!

We were both delighted and surprised with how beautiful and professional the photos turned out. It must be her fashion background, but she really knows how to stage a photo to look natural and has an eye for aesthetics and design. We had all the photos with edits with a very quick return. She was very generous with her time and expertise. I am so glad we found her to capture this special moment in our lives together. I would definitely recommend her to any of my friends.
