but GIRL, SHE WORKS MAGIC. I felt like an absolute queen walking away from the Bridal trial and she delivered again and again on my wedding day. She made my very picky make-up -disliking mom, feel flawless and confident. She made all my girls look absolutely stunning. And she gave me a very natural beautiful timeless look that lasted ALL DAY. I danced so much, I had gotten blisters in my comfortable Toms and they had already popped on the dance floor. My body was drenched in sweat. I cried a ton of happy tears. e was the one for my wedding day. She did the makeup for both my engagement shoot and on the wedding day along with all the ladies in my wedding party and both my mother and mother -in-law. Rachel is incredibly professional and knowledgeable while being very approachable and easy to talk to. She went above and beyond my expectations. Also, super important to me, she made everyone feel very comfortable while getting their makeup done, particularity my mothers. (they are not always easy to please when it comes to makeup) Would ABSOLUTELY hire her again!

She was super flexible with the date of my trial, which I greatly appreciated since I live in Boston (got married in CT). She took the time to get to know me and explain each step of her process. My wedding date even shifted around during the planning process, and she was able and willing to shift her availability. On the big day, my bridesmaids and I looked amazing! She really nailed it when I said I wanted us all to look easy and natural, since it was a morning wedding. I really can’t reccommend her enough! So if you haven’t booked her already, do it now!! :)

She was attentive, gracious, and brilliant as she navigated both my "I don't ever wear a stitch of makeup" cluelessness/baggage alongside my "also I struggle with feeling ugly because of relentless acne and am shocked by the fact that I want to look like an earthy princess at my wedding" confusion. I have never looked - or felt! - as beautiful as I did...it was like Rachel saw who I am in my heart and translated that into a visual using makeup artistry. There simply can't be a better choice for your makeup experience than Rachel!

so beautiful, but very naturally so. I was searching for someone who's makeup style would make me look like the most beautiful version of myself without being too overdone. I don't typically wear heavy makeup and I didn't want to look unrecognizable on my wedding day, especially with a more casual wedding venue at a summer camp. Rachel nailed it! The makeup was comfortable to wear and didn't feel heavy at all, but my skin looked flawless and glowing. Rachel matched my complexion, my eyes, and my ivory/champagne dress perfectly. I did do a trial before hand - which I highly recommend - and so on wedding morning I was relaxed and already new I was going to love my look. My wedding day makeup lasted from 11 am to midnight - even with lots of dancing! My bridesmaids also commented they LOVED their makeup! My maid of honor/sister almost never wears any make up and we made sure Rachel was aware of that before starting her's. We didn't want my sister to look out of place with the whole done-up bridal party but we also wanted her to be comfortable. Rachel did a perfect job of making sure she was relaxed during the makeup application process and the end result was that my sister looked gorgeous but also looked like herself. About half of us did the false lashes, myself included, and they were great - you could not even tell they were not my real lashes, and they were super easy to take off. If I ever need my makeup professionally done again, I will be calling Rachel, and I'll be recommending her to all my friends and family who get married in the future

a true angel! From the trial to my big day, Rachel was a dream to work with- even when I wanted to change my look a few weeks before my wedding. When the big day finally came, Rachel arrived on time and was very accommodating to the space where I was getting ready. She used some of my favorite makeup brands, her tools were very clean, and through the whole process she was very mindful of sanitation. The finished product was breathtaking!! I have never felt so beautiful in my entire life than I did on my wedding day. Rachel is truly, truly amazing in her craft and I couldn't have imagined working with anyone else!!!

What I love most about Rachel's work is her ability and desire to highlight women's natural beauty. None of us came away looking like we had heavy layers of make-up on . All of the girls, my mom and myself looked fresh and natural, just the way I had hoped we would. Rachel and her assistant worked tirelessly despite the early start to make sure that we all looked amazing and left in time to get to the venue. I loved getting to know Rachel during my trial session and was reminded of her kind and gentle presence during the morning of my wedding. She did a fantastic job on all of us!

For the wedding, Rachel did all of the hair for me and 4 bridesmaids as well as my make-up. She had a wonderful assistant who did a great job on the bridesmaids make-up. be ready for 12:15, she never once made me feel like it was overwhelming and was so professional & amazing that I wasn’t ever worried about running late. They were at my parents’ house at the crack of dawn and somehow got all the hair & makeup done in 5 hours—and everyone looked so beautiful! Rachel was able to translate exactly what I wanted from a few photos and a description that was mostly, “not too much, not too little, just natural-looking”. She is a miracle worker—Rachel has such a wonderful, artistic eye. I felt so beautiful the entire day. If we could get married again tomorrow I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to hire Rachel. On a more practical note, Rachel traveled over an hour to make it to the house for 7am and her online invoicing system made things so easy for everyone—the morning of the wedding was so blissfully simple. She is absolutely amazing, from my wedding trial to the day of, she made sure everything was exactly what I wanted in terms of hair and makeup. Rachel's business is a la carte, so you choose the services you need. And it's based around being on location, so she had the perfect setup for coming to us. I was able to sip a mimosa with my bridesmaids in the comfort of our rental home! My mom, sister, and I all loved our hair and makeup and received so many compliments. Rachel is talented and professional while still remaining down-to-earth--just what any bride would want on her wedding day!
