e who's makeup style would make me look like the most beautiful version of myself without being too overdone. I don't typically wear heavy makeup and I didn't want to look unrecognizable on my wedding day, especially with a more casual wedding venue at a summer camp. Rachel nailed it! The makeup was comfortable to wear and didn't feel heavy at all, but my skin looked flawless and glowing. Rachel matched my complexion, my eyes, and my ivory/champagne dress perfectly. I did do a trial before hand - which I highly recommend - and so on wedding morning I was relaxed and already new I was going to love my look. My wedding day makeup lasted from 11 am to midnight - even with lots of dancing! My bridesmaids also commented they LOVED their makeup! My maid of honor/sister almost never wears any make up and we made sure Rachel was aware of that before starting her's. We didn't want my sister to look out of place with the whole done-up bridal party but we also wanted her to be comfortable. Rachel did a perfect job of making sure she was relaxed during the makeup application process and the end result was that my sister looked gorgeous but also looked like herself. About half of us did the false lashes, myself included, and they were great - you could not even tell they were not my real lashes, and they were super easy to take off. If I ever need my makeup professionally done again, I will be calling Rachel, and I'll be recommending her to all my friends and family who get married in the future

to work with- even when I wanted to change my look a few weeks before my wedding. When the big day finally came, Rachel arrived on time and was very accommodating to the space where I was getting ready. She used some of my favorite makeup brands, her tools were very clean, and through the whole process she was very mindful of sanitation. The finished product was breathtaking!! I have never felt so beautiful in my entire life than I did on my wedding day. Rachel is truly, truly amazing in her craft and I couldn't have imagined working with anyone else!!!

None of us came away looking like we had heavy layers of make-up on . All of the girls, my mom and myself looked fresh and natural, just the way I had hoped we would. Rachel and her assistant worked tirelessly despite the early start to make sure that we all looked amazing and left in time to get to the venue. I loved getting to know Rachel during my trial session and was reminded of her kind and gentle presence during the morning of my wedding. She did a fantastic job on all of us!

She had a wonderful assistant who did a great job on the bridesmaids make-up. Everyone loved it and everything stayed flawless all night even after lots of dancing. I cannot recommend Rachel enough. She was the perfect fit for my day.

d. I was getting my makeup done for a wedding I had attended and she was able to get exactly what I had wanted. I let her do what she wanted and she had a lot of fun doing what she wanted. It was also done in a timely manner, she didn't rush her work but she also didn't take an exceeding amount of time to do it. It was perfect and everything about the experience was great.

whelming and was so professional & amazing that I wasn’t ever worried about running late. They were at my parents’ house at the crack of dawn and somehow got all the hair & makeup done in 5 hours—and everyone looked so beautiful! Rachel was able to translate exactly what I wanted from a few photos and a description that was mostly, “not too much, not too little, just natural-looking”. She is a miracle worker—Rachel has such a wonderful, artistic eye. I felt so beautiful the entire day. If we could get married again tomorrow I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to hire Rachel. On a more practical note, Rachel traveled over an hour to make it to the house for 7am and her online invoicing system made things so easy for everyone—the morning of the wedding was so blissfully simple. She was so responsive to emails and so easy to get in touch with. I am so happy that Rachel and I found each other! I could not have picked a better makeup artist, and I wish I had more occasions to need one.

Rachel's business is a la carte, so you choose the services you need. And it's based around being on location, so she had the perfect setup for coming to us. I was able to sip a mimosa with my bridesmaids in the comfort of our rental home! My mom, sister, and I all loved our hair and makeup and received so many compliments. Rachel is talented and professional while still remaining down-to-earth--just what any bride would want on her wedding day!

provided hair styling for my June wedding, and we were all completely elated with the work that she did. Not only did she put a great deal of time and attention into making sure that my hair (the Bride's!) was perfect, but she also gave equal love to the other three women in our bridal party and my mother. I gave her a great deal of freedom to style the bridal party's hair in a way that made them feel happy with the one request that their hair be at least partially down, and she delivered on each and every person while still respecting and reflecting their individual personalities. One woman had very short hair, another incredibly long hair, and the third very curly and sometimes difficult hair to work with. After she worked her magic, each and every one of them not only looked even more gorgeous than usual, but also felt wonderful about the way that they looked. On top of that, she gave my mother a classy, practical up-do that reflected her wish to stay cool in the hot June weather while still looking stylish. Rachel is calm, cool, and collected throughout the preparation process, always making sure that the Bride gets priority but never leaving anyone out or rushing them in any way. She's focused and attentive to everyone's individual needs and desires, and it shows in her work. I absolutely loved having Rachel's kind and supportive demeanor during the emotional roller coaster of getting ready to walk down the aisle! I cannot possibly recommend her highly enough. She is a wonderful artist and will absolutely leave you looking....and feeling....beautiful in every way.

What I particularly love about Rachel over other makeup artists I have hired for Events/Brides, as well as for myself, is that she isn't one note. She does not employ a technique just simply because it is trendy, nor does she create the same look over and over. Rachel Marie truly listens to the clients and their needs for that particular time and can achieve a wide range of looks for any age, skin type, occasion, etc. I had an event for which I was one of the Chairs and it was to be a very formal event with much publicity. Rachel achieved such a beautiful look that both met what I had envisioned for the evening and beyond. I felt beautiful, confident and ready for both the speaking that was required of me that evening, as well as the many photographs. The makeup selected felt light and yet I had the coverage necessary for a glamorous evening look, and long day into night. She has such a talent for selecting the appropriate color palette and applying products in a way that they don't feel heavy or uncomfortable. You feel like yourself, but better! Rather than some makeup experiences I have had in the past where one may feel like you're wearing a mask and don't quite feel like yourself. Also, her price points are very competitive and you will always feel you have received more than your money's worth. Finally, Rachel Marie is a delight. She herself, is beautiful inside and out. She comes to each styling job with great energy and focus. You will always feel comfortable discussing your look or asking her to make adjustments along the way during your session. You will and be the priority. Again, the trust placed in her very capable hands is the key to such success! I highly recommend her to any Bride or Client looking for a Makeup Stylist not just for one occasion, but for every milestone!
