After introducing my husband to Rachel, it became clear that we had found a great match, both in terms of style and personality. The connection and ease we found with her shows through in the final product. Rachel knew exactly how to make us feel like we were just hanging out with a friend.
Leading up to the wedding, Rachel would often check in with us and shared her wealth of knowledge and expertise when it came to adjusting the timeline, creating shot lists and providing overall ease as the day was getting closer!
Rachel's eye for detail is astounding, and beyond her technical expertise, she is a joy to work with. On the day she was able to navigate through multiple sets of family photos (that included three year old twin boys which is an accomplishment of it's own), moved swiftly through the portrait session, and knew when to blend into the background and when to assert herself to get the best pictures.

s for baby showers and bridal showers, and several weddings in my family. This was our first time using Rachel and she wildly exceeded my expectations and experiences with every other photographer I've ever worked with. While I've had experience with professional photos here and there, my fiance never has and we were both a little worried on how comfortable and natural we'd feel in this setting. Rachel immediately made us both feel comfortable and the shoot felt easy. We both felt like ourselves and somehow like we were the only two people in the world. She's funny, listens to your style and works with your natural comfort, but simultaneously encourages flattering poses and ideas we wouldn't think of. Oh! And she's super quick. She got us about a quarter of our photos the next day and the rest of them not more than two weeks later. There is literally not one photo I do not like. And that's insane because I have had whole entire shoots with other photographers where I can't find one photo I do like!
There is absolutely no question Rachel is our go-to photographer from here on out. I will recommend her to everyone I know and love from here on out. I'm so grateful we went out on a limb and worked with a stranger. (Who is now a friend!)
