Rachel is the best of the best! When I inquired about her services she was immediately responsive and called me. I loved her energy over the phone and knew she would make my wedding day special. We had so much fun chatting at my trial. And then she absolutely blew everyone away with her work on my wedding day! Madison also did a wonderful job. I quite literally was the luckiest with all of my vendors, Rachel and her team being of the big ones. She did my hair on three different occasions, one for my engagement pictures, my bridal hair trial and then wedding. I asked if we could add glitter to my hair and she was up for the additional ask. She is very easy to talk to and very open to hearing if there is anything you would like to change. My hair is really heavy and I have a good amount of hair, yet none of my hair at the end of the day was out of place even after all the dancing and sweating. My bridesmaids when we started were wanting to do their own hair, but I promised them I found an amazing team and knew they would not be disappointed. Each of the ones that said that to me, after getting their hair done was so thankful she is who I chose. It made the morning of that much easier, it was fun chatting with her and it was not awkward having them around in the morning. I would recommend her to anyone that wants their hair done professionally for any event. Thank you for everything for absolutely everything you have done for us!!

Rachel was an absolute dream to work with. From my hair trial to my wedding day, the process was incredibly detailed and smooth. Rachel outlines everything very clearly so I always knew exactly what the both of us were doing. I knew exactly what I was paying for and the price absolutely matched the quality. My hair looked stunning all day and my bridesmaids and I felt so beautiful. My mother had someone who was supposed to do her hair that backed out and Rachel found the time to squeeze her in and I cannot say how thankful I am for that enough. My mom was so upset that she wasn't going to be able to get her hair done that day and Rachel made it happen. The day was perfect and I am so happy Rachel was a part of this day for us!

Rachel is SO unbelievably talented when it comes to hair! I was incredibly nervous about finding someone to style the bridal hair of my dreams. Having been in many weddings over the years, I always ask for a similar style- a loose, romantic, low updo. And I will say, I have been disappointed 99% of the time. I have fine, straight hair without a lot of life, and this always shows when my hair is styled. That is, until I met Rachel! I could not believe how amazing she made my hair look at my trial and on my wedding day! While I loved the look of my trial hair, I pivoted slightly on my actual wedding day due to weather and changes in my dress. She listed to the changes I wanted, and was able to execute them PERFECTLY. Rachel exceeded every expectation that I had for what my wedding hair could look like. Not only did she give me the most amazing wedding hair, but EVERY SINGLE PERSON in my wedding party had gorgeous styles and totally RAVED about her skills! Even my mom who has similar hair to mine was given beautiful, voluminous curls and was stunned. Rachel is also the sweetest person and was such a joy to work with. She took the time to understand my hair and discuss my vision prior to even booking her services. If you want to have the hair of your dreams on your wedding day, you need to book Rachel!

I cannot say enough positive things about Rachel. She's amazing! I reached out to Rachel asking for the impossible--do hair for 4 very different ladies with vibrant personalities and across 6 time zones--one of which dyed her hair teal and purple a week before the wedding. She ROCKED it. I couldn't ask for a better experience. She was accommodating on short notice, communicated with all of us, and made all of us look fantastic. She worked in tandem with my make up artist and event coordinator AND took time to make me feel super special by stay to "play" with photographer.

I felt confident in the service I would be receiving even before my bridal hair preview based on the presentation of her work on Instagram. After my hair preview, I really knew I had made the right choice! She effortlessly created the exact look that I was hoping for. I loved visiting her studio which has been thoughtfully decorated and stocked with refreshments. Before the wedding, she created a wedding day schedule for me and my bridesmaids to follow. She also sent a very helpful guide to everyone receiving hair services about how to prep for the big day, including clear instructions on how/when to wash our hair, and how to choose a style with a friendly reminder to save inspiration photos and have them handy day-of. This took one thing off of my very full plate and I appreciated it! On wedding day, she arrived on time and got right to work. Her warm and bubbly personality made everyone feel comfortable, and I know they would all agree when I say I felt like I had made a new friend. She listened carefully to each person when it was their turn in the chair and created a look that everyone absolutely loved. She stayed on schedule and we were right on time for our bridesmaid photos. Our hair and all accessories (including my veil) lasted ALL day and night, through the first look, breezy conditions for photos and ceremony outside, lots of hugs, and two hours of dancing our hearts out on the dance floor. Finally, she even gifted each of us a touch-up bag to use throughout the night, if needed (we didn’t!!). We received so many compliments on our hair and we all felt absolutely beautiful. I hated to take it down at the end of the night! For these reasons, I would not hesitate to recommend Rachel Z Riley Beauty to any future bride!

Wow! Where to begin… Rachel is incredible! I’m probably one of her biggest fans and have been following her since started her own business. I live on the other side of the country so I was ecstatic to have her so my hair for a wedding in Culpeper, VA! I showed her a couple and pictures and boom! Perfection. Rachel also has the perfect personality for a stylist - if you need quiet and calm, done. If you need energy and to chat it up, done. If you need to vent or share your deepest secrets, done. She has a true gift with hair and really cares about her clients. Not to mention, her studio is adorable and comfortable! 11/10 would recommend!

Rachel is a gem...she literally duplicated all the hairstyles me and my bridal party showed to Rachel and her assistant. We all received endless compliments throughout the evening. Rachel is extremely personable, professional and tons of fun to spend time with! We were together from 9:45am - 5:30pm w/me and my bridal party and it was such a fun experience! She is now my go to for any special event hair...I know I can trust her and wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you Rachel!!!

I was recently the maid of honor for a friend's wedding in April. I am usually extremely particular when it comes to hair styles, but the minute I met Rachel I knew I was in the best hands! I ended up changing my original hair style at the last minute, and I really wanted something voluminous that was half up and half down. Well, Rachel certainly delivered! I had so many compliments on my hair, and I now have a new favorite updo! On top of her amazing talent, Rachel was super organized. She and her team arrived early and had everything you could ever need to operate a traveling hair salon. She had portable chairs, tables, and surge protectors ready to go. The team was neat and tidy and stayed patient despite all of the business while getting ready with a big group of ladies. I definitely recommend Rachel Z Riley Beauty!

So I had my hair styled for bridal portraits thinking it would be nice for the two inches of snow we were expecting, and let me just tell you. We got a snow storm (13 inches of snow), no heat for styling tools just my natural hair she worked with. And amazing service! Also side note, she didn’t have any snow boots and legit would do tweaks on my hair in flip flops and socks for the pictures!! Talk ab dedication dude

Rachel is AMAZING! I contacted her as I was getting ready to have bridal portraits done and she was so fast to respond. She is very easy to communicate with and talk to about scheduling, style, and just in general while she is working on your hair! I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted but wasn’t sure how it would work with my hair and Rachel EXCEEDED my expectations. Her time estimate was right on the spot and my hair was literally so beautiful I sent pictures to my fiancé, family and friends and wore it literally all night. She has the cutest little studio and I so enjoyed my time with Rachel that I had to tell my fiancé all about it. She is sweet, warm, and funny. She was even so kind and gracious as I was running a little late on the day of. I really can’t say enough good things about her, I had the perfect experience.

Where do I begin ?! I’m not someone who goes all out but when you’re a bride , you should, right ? Rachel made me feel like the most beautiful bride ! I think I have a super vague idea of what I might want for my wedding hair style and she nailed it ! She puts her all into every and anything she touches , and let me tell you …. I was reaaaaaallll cute! Lol my wedding theme was very modern and she executed each and every style in my wedding party flawlessly .. effortlessly, the whole she bang ! I love that she added her own experiences in things ( I am a visual person so hearing about things made me see it if that makes any sense lol ) and made everything so easy and she was so easy to talk to. Contemplating on who to book for your big day ? Don’t hesitate , you need her in your life I promise you !

Rachel did such an amazing job on my bridal hair! ❤️ I needed help last minute and Rachel completely delivered. I really wanted a style that felt like me, and not too “done-up”. Not only did she create a style that was better then what I hoped for, but made my big day extra special! 🤩 Even after the beautiful (but windy) day, my hair was still perfect! Rachel is such a great listener, friend, and always aims to make your day! I cannot recommend her enough! 😁
