She was always kind, courteous, professional, and fun! One of my favorite things about her when we first starting communicating was that she was always quick with returning emails and phone calls. I loved that! I'm sure she's a very busy lady, yet she always made me feel like a priority. It is very appreciated. Our first time meeting her face-to-face was at the Chihuly Glass Gardens per her suggestion and I'm so glad she thought of it! It was a beautiful location and she was familiar with it. We were nervous at first, but with Rachelle's help, she made us feel a bit more at ease even with a bunch of people watching us pose and kiss all over the place. The photos came out amazing -- she made a beautiful collage with the photos that came out crisp and clear. I got it framed and look at it everyday. She somehow made me like pictures of myself! Each image was sinply amazing! My favorite part was the guest signing book using the engagement photos. It's made in a collage style with varying blank spaces put in for guests to sign and write in, and the special binding allowed the pages to lay flat for easy writing. Everyone at the wedding commented about the book and how much they loved it and what a cool idea it was! So awesome!! I'm so glad we decided to do this because all my family wrote something truly special in it and we have that to treasure forever. At the wedding, Rachelle was just as amazing as the day we got the engagement photos taken. She's familiar with the venue and knows all the best spots. Her kindness and patience made the day a lot better. We didn't have a whole lot of people there but it was still a bit messy getting everyone together, especially with 4 little kids there who wanted to run everywhere, and she just smiled the whole time. I can't thank her enough for that. To speak a bit on her professionalism: we had a terrible officiant. I completely regret ever asking him to perform the ceremony. As we were signing the paperwork, Rachelle asked for us to pose while doing it so she could get a great shot of the moment, but the officiant cut her off and was extremely rude. Rachelle was kind and tried to explain what she was asking for and he continued to be rude and shut her down. I was appalled and felt terrible. I had no idea he would act like that. It was awful, but I thank Rachelle for always remaining professional, not arguing with him at all. It was an awkward, terrible situation that she handled amazingly while I was just stunned. I can't get over her kindness and sincerity. As soon as the officiant left, everything else went smoothly. Anything I asked to get a picture of, she would without hesitation, and I'm sure she caught moments that I had missed entirely. I'm anxious to see the prints of the wedding, but I already know they're amazing since I saw her work with the engagement photos. I cannot recommend Rachelle Erickson more. I love her spirit, kindness, ingenuity, and her eye for detail. Thank you so very much, Rachelle! You are are beyond appreciated, and I cannot wait to work with you again!

Each couple can spend thousands of dollars on each vendor and Rachelle will capture this and tell your story of your beautiful day. Weddings are very difficult to shoot and are changing by the minute. Rachelle does an amazing job figuring out how much time each section she will need many months ahead of the big day and will give recommendations even at the wedding consult along as well as many months ahead of the wedding date. This way the couple has a guideline to go by for the day and can then book her other vendors around the schedule like a hair and makeup artist. That way Rachelle can have accurate time to shoot all the different sections prior to the start of the ceremony. Hiring a professional photographer is extremely important and is more effective to have someone that specializes in weddings and not just a friend. You will receive the best work to document your day along with working with someone like Rachelle who is very professional through the entire process from the booking of the wedding to the delivery of files online. Wedding Photographers rely heavily on referrals and recommendations. I would encourage any bride considering Rachelle, to read many of the reviews which give an accurate description of Rachelle’s personality, integrity, and professionalism.

enjoy our engagement shoot. We wanted our dog in our engagement shots and Rachelle worked some miracles by getting our easily-distracted beagle to look adorable in our photos. We loved our engagement photos because Rachelle did an amazing job capturing natural-looking shots that really show who we are as a couple. On top of taking beautiful pictures, Rachelle is super-responsive (she usually responds to emails within a few hours) and flexible; she worked hard to make the entire process convenient, easy and fun for us from start to finish. Can't say enough about this lady! You will adore working with her, and you will love your photos!

unless we paid more. A lot more- $399 for 2 8x10s and a wall print, $799 for the full package. She was intentionally misleading and we ended up having to hire another photographer to redo these pics. Two weeks before the wedding, Rachelle told us we needed to change our timeline completely to allow more time for pics. TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE WEDDING! She wanted me to move my hair and makeup. This wasn't possible, two weeks before the wedding. This was all a ploy to get more money. She proceeded to tell me that because of the timeline, she'd have to stay late at a rate of $250 for each additional 15 min. I said no. She asked me multiple other times, including the day of the wedding, if I wanted her to stay late to finish the photos. This was wildly manipulative. Luckily, I have photographers in the family who took over but if I hadn't, I'd have felt pressured into paying a lot more $ to capture the rest of my event. Once my photos were ready to pick up, we made a plan to meet and she was supposed to give us a thumb drive with the photos. We drove 45 min in rush hour traffic to meet her. She showed us a slideshow of the pics. She did not have a thumb drive. She said she'd send us a link to an online gallery later. While she did send the link, I still don't have the thumb drive. This was promised in the signed contract. It's been 15 weeks. While there were a lot of good photos, there were also many shots that weren't so good. Rachelle gave us 5 shots of the buffet table, multiple shots of the exterior of the building and (I'm not even joking) a photo of a brick wall. There was only one photo of me with my mother (which was a bad photo). There were only 1 shot of each of the family pics- some with eyes closed, etc. THERE WERE NO SHOTS OF THE GROOM WITH HIS GROOMSMEN! Rachelle promised she took those photos (Husband says no) and would send them over several weeks ago, and we've received nothing. Bottom line- If you want to pay a lot of $ for ok pics, be endlessly pressured to spend more $ and have to meet with this basket case multiple times for no good reason, hire Rachelle.

a pet groomer so I fell in love really fast!!! She is such a sweet person and very kind! She worked around our schedule as well as hers!!! We never ever had a time that didn't work which was a plus since we lived about two hours from her!! We loved her work for our engagement photos and wedding it was all around the best!!! She knows what she is doing and has great advise on what colors went or where to move your hair on a VERY windy day in April!!!! ;) We can't wait to work with her more in the future! There is so much more I could say!! She is all around great and you won't be disappointed!!

She was SO easy to communicate with and responded most of the time within minutes! She had several packages to offer us and we decided on the best for us, at a very reasonable price. As we were only coming down for the week, we didn't have the opportunity to meet Rachelle in person until the day of the wedding. With all of the communication and planning back and forth, we felt like we already knew her before we even met her! On our wedding day, Rachelle arrived on time and took so many amazing detail shots of my dress, shoes, jewelry, bouquet and of my hair and make-up being done. She took individual photos of myself and my groom before our ceremony and my walk to meet him and down the "aisle." She captured every moment of our ceremony, even a special butterfly that encircled us with love - my mother, an angel from above, we are sure, that she spotted. Rachelle rented a beautiful umbrella to use in some photos as a prop! We took TONS of photos, all different sorts of poses in several locations. She had wonderful suggestions and was happy to take shots of our own ideas too! She went above and beyond to ensure we had every possible photo that we wanted and even came back to our suite to do more photos with our cake cutting and champagne toast. Our pictures turned out beyond AMAZING! Stunning! We and everyone else love each and every photo! Our family was able to see how our special, romantic day took place, from start to finish! We were sad for the photography session to end, we ended with a gift to take and piece of our wedding cake and wished that we lived closer to stay friends!

My fiance and I were pretty nervous going into our engagement session as neither of us have ever had professional photographs taken and had no idea what to expect. Not only did Rachelle make us incredibly comfortable and provide continual reassurance, but she was immensely professional and efficient - she really has photography down to a science as well as an art! She had fantastic pose ideas, gave great direction, and really has a sixth-sense for catching incredible scenery in her shots. One example of this - she would note the beautiful way a shadow was falling at a given moment during the shoot and instantly have an idea for an awesome shot that worked with our shadows. We couldn't be happier with the outcome as we were blown away by how gorgeous the photos turned out! Rachelle has also super impressed us with her quick and thorough communication - whenever I send her an email I get an amazingly fast response and her turn-around for her work is also incredibly fast! Finding good vendors in all of this wedding planning journey has been quite a challenge, but Rachelle has been the big exception to that and we feel beyond lucky to have met and had the opportunity to work with her!
