Radisson Hotel and Conference Center Rockford

Words cannot express how thankful we are to have had our wedding reception at the Radisson Rockford Hotel and Convention Center. From the very start, Mike, Dawn, and the entire Radisson crew went above and beyond to make our day special. Being an out-of-town couple, Mike and Dawn were very flexible in meeting times, tours, and answering our questions. They catered to our every need! Mike even came up to the head table during dinner and personally checked on us, asking if there was anything he could do. Near the end of the dinner, Dawn was on standby to provide us an extra plate for a guest who made a last-minute decision to come to the dinner. It felt as though we were being taken care of by family. Mike and Dawn were not only present during our event, but they were active in tending to guests. Both understood what we wanted as they were with us with every planning step up until the big day, and they exceeded all our expectations. They played a large part of having our reception run so smoothly. Our wedding is still being talked about by loved ones as so many enjoyed the food and atmosphere the Radisson provided. Mike and Dawn also put on a great display of late-night snacks during the reception and Sunday brunch for our guests the following day. For both dinner and brunch, our guests repeatedly said that this was a wedding where all the food was timely, abundant, and so good to eat. From the great location off the highway to the priceless ambiance and fun we had with our family and friends, we would recommend having your reception or event here every time.

We had an amazing wedding at the Radisson. I can't thank Michael and Arturo enough for organizing and helping us every step of the way. We had our ceremony and reception there, which all of our guests loved. We were also allowed a block of rooms for our guests to book, so that we could accommodate our friends and family all in one location. The venue is lovely and spacious with large chandeliers in the venue room. I also received a compliment on the general decor of the venue. Our colors were black and gold which went perfectly. We also got lucky that our wedding was one month before Christmas so we also got to have some pretty Christmas decor in some of our wedding photos. I always received a quick reply when I had questions, was able to have multiple meetings to confirm details and received plenty of advice (which was needed since this was my first time planning a wedding). The food selection was one of the funnest meetings and we got SO many compliments on the food. We stuck with salmon, chicken or vegetarian lasagna and I had tons of guests asking me about catering (but its the food supplied by the venue). Their food is awesome and the bartenders did a fantastic job during the event. Everything went so smooth and it made for a wonderfully memorable party. Thank you Radisson!

Michael and his team are amazing and from the first time I met with him in November I knew immediately that my reception had to be there. The radisson was an amazing venue, beautiful and very accommodating. Our wedding was on a Friday which the Radisson gave us a huge discount for being on a Friday.
