I had stayed here for 3 days and booked my reception here. It was beautiful! I planned this while I living in NC. Samantha, my wedding coordinator, was absolutely fantastic and answered all emails in a timely manor. I couldn’t be more pleased with their service!
Absolutely awesome experience with the Radisson. Samantha and her team were fantastic to work with and we could not have asked for better support. We were planning from outside of Michigan, and Samantha was extremely responsive, answered every question, and went above and beyond to help us out.
We worked with Samantha at the Radisson. Working with her every step of the way was a great experience. She was able to answer all of our questions, which we had a lot, quickly and fully. Towards the last week before our big day I probably emailed her everyday. She was great at answering my questions and taking care of anything I needed. If you want an experience where you don't have to think about all of the little details you should consider the Radisson. The other big selling point for me was the location. Our guests had tons of places to go before and after our wedding within walking distance. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend to everyone!
We rent the honeymoon suite for our wedding night on July 02. The Radisson in Lansing is the only one hotel that still have a jacuzzi in suite room that can give you the old sensation of honeymoon suite. We like the room a lot specially for the time been. The service in the front desk was really cool they gave us a special late check out at 1:30pm cus we took the room at 3am in the morning. The hotel keeps been a 5 stars hotel, but its a little non update, need more a refresh on the rooms, colors and appliances but other than that works ok.
After reviewing several venues, my fiance (now husband) and I chose the Radisson Hotel in Lansing for our wedding ceremony & reception. The catering manager was wonderful to work with. I didn't even need a wedding planner. She handled every little detail with ease. Our ceremony started on time, everything was set up the way we wanted it and the ceremony went off without a hitch. The reception immediately followed in the ballroom. We had a small wedding (about 65 guests) and we couldn't have been more pleased with the food, service & ambiance. The value for your dollar really goes a LONG way here! Their wedding package also includes the bridal suite that evening and it was just lovely! We had chilled champagne & chocolate truffles waiting for us in our suite when we left the reception for the night. I can't say enough nice things about this place. I would HIGHLY recommend them to any budget-conscious bride who wants an elegant venue and great food. We couldn't be more pleased and we had our dream wedding :)
They were amazing!!! Very responsive and accommodating. They took care of everything and were so helpful the day of the wedding. We worked with multiple people and they were all fantastic! They decorated beautifully and brought to life the wedding I had been dreaming of!
They are VERY flexible and offer something I couldn't find elsewhere in Lansing. They allowed us to customize a menu, bring in ethnic foods, rearrange their space, and their contract actually made sense. The staff is very nice and accomodating and they let us pick and choose what we wanted - we don't like packages, but unlike the Lansing Center, the Radisson allowed us to essentially cross off the line item we did not want and they did not charge us for it. If we wanted to add onto the list, they added the cost as expected. However, it just seemed like too many hands/departments were involved, which led to the ball being dropped: The chef messed up an entire course. The wrong credit card was charged. The dinner took too long to serve. They served undercooked, dry rice to an Asian crowd. I would recommend them for a non-custom menu. The food that they DO serve was very good, i.e. hors d' oeuvres, but don't let the good taste tests fool you if you're planning a custom meal. Disappointed. They're so flexible and could potentially be an AWESOME venue for huge weddings, but failed to deliver ours. If you want custom food, don't, but you want their food - do it. They are the most flexible venue around. They let us bring in furniture, remove furniture, essentially use the space however they wanted. The staff is great and the value of what they offer is better than anyone else in the area.
