HISTORY
Radnor Hunt was founded in 1883 and is currently the oldest active fox hunt in the United States. This venue was founded by Alexander Cassatt and James Rawle and purchased in 1883. For over a century, this venue has been the heart of the fox hunt sporting community and has also hosted horse races. In 1931, the owners moved to its current location after Gallagher Farm on Boot Road (now Providence Road) was purchased. The farmhouse was renovated, and today this venue stands as a union of traditional leisure and modern elegance.

Pol Duffy was great with Feast Your Eyes (the catering and event company that handles weddings for Radnor Hunt) and he coordinated the event for the Radnor Hunt wedding event staff...
. I would work with them again in a heartbeat for any other event.
The venue is huge. You do not need a tent for 150 or less. Plan for cocktail or formal attire based on the event space.
Pol worked with us on tweaking the menu and you get the cost breakdown of each course or item per person, and you can arrange to have more or less of different food based on the number of people and preferences for the meals.
Minor critique: Get a price quote package in advance for the alcohol as it is not a venue where you purchase the drinks by the bottle and the venue charges per person. Some slight miscommunication as to how the alcohol and beverage costs worked. Positive: The venue was very apologetic for the miscommunication and worked with us on having a lower charge per person for those who were underage and those who were religious and not drinking, so we were not paying the wine/beer rate for them (we paid the soda and water rate for them instead). You can tell a lot about a place by how they respond to conflict points and it was a level of service you'd expect from a high-end hotel or resort.
I will be reaching back out to Pol near our one-year anniversary to order a small recreation of our lemon cake at the wedding.
The wedding venue is LGBT friendly.
My husband and I had the most picture perfect dream fairytale wedding at Radnor Hunt on 10/15/22. The grounds are just breathtaking, the fall foliage was perfect, the ballroom was ...
the perfect size. We loved having and outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. The bridal and groom suites were perfect for getting ready and for using throughout the event. We had the most beautiful flowers but we were able to keep them minimal since the scenery itself is just breathtaking.
I got married on May 25, 2019 at The Radnor Hunt. If I could choose one word to describe the venue it would be breathtaking. I had booked this venue in the winter when there was st...
ill snow on the ground so I hadn't even realized just how beautiful it was. I had initially booked this venue because I was looking for an old house/mansion typer venue and this was the first affordable one I came across. I had been exhausted from the venue search and not being able to find what I was looking for so I had tossed this venue into the mix not expecting to actually love it. I wanted to book it right there on the spot. When I revisited the venue in the spring, I knew I had made the right choice. The rolling hills and the stables and everything on the outside of the venue are just so beautiful. The outside venue made for wonderful pictures. The layout of the inside of the venue is just perfect for the size guest list we had. I just can't say enough about how beautiful this venue is and I would recommend to anyone planning their wedding. My guests can't say enough about how much they loved this venue. I even saw one of my guests leave the wedding and go and sit outside on the hill and just stare out at the property. Definitely book this venue!
The Radnor Hunt was the perfect place for our recent fall wedding. The beautiful grounds made for the perfect backdrop for our 140 person wedding (ceremony and reception).
